We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to come again! Not only did we have so much fun snowmobiling and skiing, but also had a warm, cozy place to come back to after our activities. Eleanor is responsive and a very good communicator. She has thought of every detail and even keeps a fully stocked medicine cabinet!

Well equipped cabin with lots of space for a large group. The fireplace was central and cozy and the bedrooms were nicely arranged. My father had his on place in the single room while the kids had their own also. We enjoyed the exploring the property in the snow! We skied Okemo, but it is much closer to Magic Mountian. Would rent again!

My family of 8 (2 parents & 6 adult children) REALLY enjoyed staying at The Cow Barn Lodge! This home really is a great home away from home!! Donna & Jack greeted us & gave our family a great tour so that we knew where everything was & how to work & find all of the fantastic games and all the space had to offer us. The Cow Barn is huge, clean and well taken care of by Donna & Jack. Donna gave us great recommendations for a places to eat (Roots for dinner in Rutland was delicious & Sugar & Spice was a fantastic breakfast spot on our way to ski at Killington). We loved the location to easily get to ski all the local mountains & also do some great winter hiking at Mt. Ascutney. Since we have adult children, they really enjoyed their private spaces & the game room to play all together (we are a competitive family who loves to play pool and ping pong, but the barn had way more to offer!). As others have said as well, our 1st stay in a barn as a family was awesome!! Can't wait to return!

Beautiful, tranquil space to enjoy Vermont's beauty in any season. This is something really special and the family is lovely. A must see. It's within an easy drive to town. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Our stay was lovely! We liked the privacy and the view of the VT landscape was beautiful! It had all of the amenities we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. Heather and Peter were accommodating of our late check-in and helpful and kind!

Our stay was lovely. The house is beautiful and spacious with books galore! I found an I-Pod with nice music for a great evening. The view was serene and relaxing. I loved my stay and would recommend the Book Barn 100%.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Hosts were super responsive and helpful. The place was extremely clean and exactly how it looked in the pictures. The hosts were super accommodating of any request that we had. Would definitely recommend for large trips.

Beautiful house 15 minutes from Stowe. Host was great and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable.

Journey and Greg’s place was just what we hoped for! It was clean, the bed was super comfy, and it was a great location (close to lots of restaurants in Winooski) for our long weekend trip. The sauna was also lovely. Overall great stay - highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at the Big Green Barn! Super cozy space located in the charming Manchester community. Plenty of space for two couples. We especially loved the unique artwork. 28 minute drive to Stratton Mountain. Could not have asked for a better long weekend getaway.

They had us at heated bathroom floors! We are avid Airbnb guests and this place is by far the cleanest, well thought out, and coziest place we’ve stayed at over the years. David and Susan thought about every single detail and it showed how much love went into the design. The location was just perfect for a weekend away with my husband. It was very private and less than a 10 minute drive to the “hustle and bustle” of downtown Woodstock. We were even welcomed with a very Vermont style basket (cheese, crackers, apples and local ciders). David and Susan gave us just the right amount of attention too. They were very proactive prior to us arriving, walked out to greet us when we pulled in, and even came out to say goodbye as we were leaving. The level of kindness was really appreciated. We look forward to returning and will be bringing our 10-year-old son next time! There was plenty of room for him as well.

This was my third time staying on Rosalind's property, but my first time in the "retreat" unit. The space is better in person than in the photos! It's a spacious two level unit with a huge bedroom/loft type area, perfect for setting up your yoga mat! The high ceilings and large forest facing windows in the bedroom were a highlight for me. Rosalind has always been a very responsive, thoughtful, and flexible host. I can't wait to stay again!

This was our second time to piece of dirt ranch and again…it did not disappoint! We love this place! The hosts are amazing and their pups are so sweet! The place is like no other, you gotta check it out!!! Thank you Danny and Rosaline for sharing your little slice of heaven in VT with us! We WILL be back!

This is my second time staying at Hilary’s home, and for good reason! My family loved gathering by the fireplace everyday, using the hot tub and sauna, and cooking dinners for our group of 8 in the well equipped kitchen every night! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Also love how close it is to the town of Woodstock (adorable with great shopping!) Hilary is very responsive and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd time at some point.
