Truly was a very wonderful experience! I stayed here with my sister & mom for a low key birthday celebration. We really appreciated how cozy the house was. The house was neat & there were plenty of towels, linens & even slip on shoes to use for by the hottub. Some major highlights were the ability to listen to the creek all hours of the day, having access to a clean hot tub, plenty of space for everyone to have their own space & there were lots of windows to allow for nature sounds to fill the house. The back patio area, right along the creek & by the hot tub is so peaceful to sit by with a drink. James was very responsive from booking to checking out. We had to reach out during our stay & he handled what we needed within minutes. We also appreciated how stocked the house was with utensils, cooking pots, blankets & robes in each room. We will be staying again!

The house is as described and is very spacious. Bed is comfy and the kitchen is very modern. The grounds have a lot of trails and are fun to explore. There are plenty of local restaurants and activities to keep you entertained. I would definitely recommend staying there.

We had a great stay at Caitlin’s place! The treehouse was gorgeous and everything was so well thought out. There was a little snafu with the hot tub before our arrival which meant it was out of order but Caitlin went out of her way to make up for it even though it was out of her control, which we so appreciated, and we had a great time regardless! The location was great - lots of nature and hikes around but we also had a lot of fun exploring Narrowsburg and checking out Caitlin’s recommendations. Would definitely recommend, great getaway for a couple!

I almost don’t want to write a review so I can keep this place to myself. We were lucky to get into to Jenny’s cabin last minute - Jenny’s communication has been quick, detailed, and packed with so much warmth, just like her cabin. The space is beautiful and the location (right in front of the river) is naturally healing. It does take some effort to start a fire for the hot tub, but a truly one of a kind and rewarding experience.

Our stay in Amy’s cabin was so peaceful! We hiked everyday! The surrounding area was just beautiful. The home had all the amenities we needed and our doggos felt right at home. Amy and her family thought of everything! We hope to come back soon as there were some places we would still love to visit!

Super Fun Time at Melissa’s Place! Melissa’s place is awesome! We had a blast there. The hot tub was so cool—we chilled in it a ton. The game room was the best with video games and arcades ! We played all day. It’s in a quiet spot with lots of trees. We went to Bushkill Falls nearby—it’s like a mini waterfall and super pretty! There’s also an animal farm with snakes and stuff. The house has comfy beds and TVs in every room. The living room has a fireplace, and we played board games. The kitchen was great for cooking too. Melissa was nice and kept everything clean. We didn’t want to leave! We’re totally coming back!

Everything was clean and felt very cozy/welcoming. It was a well needed getaway and the cabin was perfect. Everything was within driving distance which was very convenient. The host was also very friendly and we hope to stay here again.

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway

Beautiful cabin. I enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this cabin for families or couples or even a friends trip. The cabin is cozy, stocked with a few games, TV, and the backyard + patio puts you at peace. I had an amazing trip. If you want a little peace outside the cabin, I recommend heading out the cabin to Dingsmans Falls not too far away.

Great location with a great host, Bridie’s home is a wonderful place to experience NY state. From the privacy and comfort, to the peacefulness of the area, this was a much needed relief from the city life. Bridie as a host was very accommodating, had great recommendations and info about the local area, and made our stay welcome to where I’d recommend to anyone considering!

Chris’s place was exactly how he described it . It was a beautiful home in a quiet area. It was the perfect weekend get away .

Our stay at The Rustic Retreat was absolutely wonderful! The space was impeccably clean, offering a perfect balance of comfort and privacy. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights for us was how dog-friendly it was—our pup loved exploring the area, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made traveling with a pet so easy. Julie was fantastic—responsive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. She provided great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great hospitality, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Our late winter/early spring stay at the cabin was wonderful. The place was as described and of course tremendously cozy and relaxing with plenty of little touches that made our extended weekend a true treat. The nearby area isn't as secluded as we had originally thought - there are neighbors close by so actual yard space is limited, but no one bothered us and there was some opaque fencing that helped make it seem a little more private. Regardless still a very quiet and peaceful spot, lake very close, and tons of hiking near by as well! when we got rained on and had a cozy day in, we felt right at home reading in the loft area, or playing with the games/puzzles that were available. Check in and check out was seamless with clear instructions. Would stay here again for sure, hopefully in a different season to catch some fall scenery or some summer vibes!

our new favorite place in the Catskills. we loved everything about our stay the house is in a very quiet and private place, surrounded by trees, with no houses or neighbors in site. we loved this feeling of being in the woods. the house was perfect for a family of 4: 2 comfortable bed rooms, 2 living room, one upstairs with access to the open kitchen and 2 decks and one family room downstairs with TV and games. all rooms very nicely decorated. the house was also very cleaned. we appreciated that Katherine and her husband left some bagel and muffins, fruits and yogurt for our first breakfast, very nice and convenient. communication with Katherine was great, she is very friendly, helpful and responsive. finally, what we loved about this place is that you can feel that this is not only a short term rental, but the place where Katherine and family spend time, so that it is very well equipped and full of charm

Susie's cabin is legitimately amazing. We were going for a rustic weekend out in the woods--and Susie's place delivered. Clean, warm, cozy, comfortable, with a great deck and BBQ grill/fire pit out back. There is a little store right next to the cabin, grocery stores very close, and a butcher if you have a grilling/BBQ night in mind. Susie herself was also lovely and was very sweet and responsive. Would highly recommend--particularly for a couple from NYC who is looking for a change of pace for a few days. Susie's cabin is also very easy to get to.

Rented this place last minute to spend a few days hiking local trails. It was bigger and cozier than it looks in the pictures, clean, thoughtfully stocked with first aid supplies, toothbrushes and toothpaste, clean towels, coffee and a fully functional kitchen. Shana provided a thorough list of instructions, local recommendations (detailed descriptions of trails, restaurants, etc.) and responded quickly. Hard to imagine a more perfect place to stay in the area.

Perfect location for a small family looking for a ski weekend at big bear. Conveniently location just a quarter mile away from the ski area. Cabin was clean, well equipped and well maintained.

By far the most peaceful & quiet place I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was exactly what it looked like on pictures. Will recommend anybody this cabin. 10/10!!

My husband and I stayed for one night in February. It was a perfect cozy cabin for a cold winter night. Loved curling up by the fire and just relaxing. Water pressure was great everywhere, bed was super comfy. Would definitely recommend! The spiral staircase is not friendly to those with mobility issues though.

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

The lake was stunning. The cabin was warm and cozy. Lots of fun shopping and restaurants close by. We had a wonderful stay.

Aretha is so very kind and helpful. Our stay was amazing just because of her organization, clear and concise communication and understanding. The place was beautiful and had everything that we needed for our little vacay. This is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for a little getaway. Thank you to Aretha and Luke for such hospitality and for being great hosts.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Forest Nook in Wurtsboro, NY! She’s by far the most hospitable host we’ve ever encountered! She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived & even baked us a fresh blueberry loaf which was a perfect treat after a long flight! Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond her duties as a host. It honestly felt like we had known her for years. Her cabin is breathtaking, with a million-dollar lake view that we will never forget. From sunrise to sunset, you won't find a more peaceful, quiet, or beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from a big city & want a peaceful, relaxing stay. Everything you need is just a short 15-minute drive away in Middletown, and the drive is an experience in itself, winding through a gorgeous green landscape, as if you're cruising through a lush green forest. Vanessa made our stay incredibly comfortable & unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!
