Beautiful place just off the road. Strongly recommend you to have dinner at the restaurant (5 stars for the food!) The common area is shared so be considerate of other guests. Unfortunately someone started cooking food in the middle of the night and this woke us up of course… Other than that the place was perfect for our visit way out east.

The room was a described with a separate entrance and private bathroom. It was clean and good enough for 3 adults. It was easy to find, even though it is close to the highway #1,it was very quiet and private. Anairda’s advice were useful and we appreciated a kettle that she left for us per our response. The house is close to the hikes and sightseeing areas. I’d highly recommend to rent this place and would definitely come back if I have a chance to visit this beautiful country. Marcela and her husband Höski were excellent hosts ! The place is lovely and Marcela is extremely accomodating, going out of her way and doing everything she can to make sure you have a nice stay at her place

Questa Guesthouse è in un angolo di paradiso, una vasta radura silenziosa e rilassante Ci sono due bagni a disposizione degli ospiti (uno solo con doccia), due cucine molto bene attrezzate, tutto tenuto davvero pulito e in ordine (le camere come in foto, deliziose). Davvero super consigliato!!

If you're looking for a serene place to stay in the southeastern region of Iceland, this cabin is perfect. It's in a peaceful, remote location surrounded by nature—exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like our own little hideaway. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive. We requested an extra blanket and sheet, and they provided them right away, which we really appreciated. The cabin is also just a 15-minute drive from Höfn, where you'll find a large supermarket and a few great restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

We were shocked by how amazing this place is. The lodge itself is gorgeous and spotless. Compared to other accommodations in Iceland of a similar price, this is incomparably better than anywhere we have been. Would highly recommend staying here.
