Wat een heerlijke plek hebben Hanno & Nico! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en brandschoon! Het zwembad is prachtig met heerlijk water. Verder zijn de gastheren ontzettend vriendelijk, reageren snel op berichten en hebben allerlei leuke tips voor restaurants en de omgeving! Echt een aanrader!

Wir waren 6 Personen von 39-73 für 3 Wochen hier. Alles hat uns super gefallen! Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich. Der Pool und der Outdoorbereich war wie eine kleine Oase. Man war wirklich unter sich und von außen konnte keiner auf das Grundstück gucken. Die Nachbarschaft ist wirklich ruhig. Jeden Freitag kam Jane‘s Reinigungsteam um die Betten frisch zu beziehen, die Handtücher zu wechseln und richtig sauber zu machen. Das war großartig! Wir konnten in direkter Umgebung (5 Autominuten) alles kaufen was wir brauchen. (Pick n Pay, Woolworth, Food Lover’s, Spar). Zum Strand sind wir auch nur 7 Minuten gefahren und egal ob man zu einem Weingut oder in die Stadt wollte, man hat alles zwischen 25 - 50 Minuten Autominuten erreicht. Ich würde immer wieder kommen und kann diese Unterkunft nur jedem empfehlen. Jane war für mich immer erreichbar, auch als wir einen Lastabwurf hatten, hat sie uns alle notwendigen Infos gegeben und alles uns notwendige zur Verfügung gestellt! Tausend Dank!!!

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

Superb place with a genuine ‘home’ feel to it. Lots of communal space inside and out and a gorgeous garden to enjoy. Tracy is a super host - responsive and shared loads of advice what to do locally. Hout Bay is a 10 min drive.

Es gibt für diese Unterkunft die volle Punktzahl! Die Räume sind hell und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles ist super sauber. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Bad. Der Garten mit dem Minipool ist auch sehr gepflegt. Wie haben uns dort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist sicher. Süße kleine Cafés und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir können uns vorstellen im nächsten Jahr wieder zu kommen.

We stayed in the place for 14 days, 2 couples. We very much enjoyed our time. The house matches the description, is beautifully designed and well maintained. The outside area is well-thought trough, provides sun-protection when sitting outside and offers amazing views over Cape Town and Table Mountain. The house offers 3 bedrooms distributed over 3 floors. A bit of a negative is that although you can close the doors, privacy can be an issue as it is not fully sound proof. Lightning could be better in the bathrooms, but design won over. The service was great, cleaning excellent and the pool was well maintained. The surroundings are great, plenty of coffee places for an easy breakfast, bars and supermarket nearby. Easy to go for a morning run to Green Point and Sea Point. We loved it and highly recommend the place. Thank you.

We enjoyed our 4 nights here. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Kitchen had all the essentials, bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable too. The security gate and bars on the windows made us feel very safe. Leigh was very responsive to some requests we had and a pleasure to chat with. The upstairs bedroom with en-suite is the only room that has air conditioning, and it was quite warm when we visited. So the 2 bedrooms on the main floor were warm, even with a fan running all night. Leigh did buy an evaporative air cooler to try to cool down the main floor bedrooms, but unfortunately it didn’t help. But it was so nice of her to go out of her way to try to make us more comfortable. Fortunately the weather cooled a little bit after a couple of days, which made sleeping easier. Also, the upstairs bedroom has very sloped ceilings, which makes it difficult to stand up in some areas and easy to bump your head (which happened frequently). But overall we really enjoyed our 4 nights.

Lianne is a very thoughtful and organised host who is willing to make a plan to help to meat her guests needs. The house is lovely furnished and very good maintained and ideally positioned to walk to the water front, restaurants or other points of interests. Definitely recommendable.

We really enjoyed the beautiful house and lovely neighborhood. The old farmhouse has a a great little garden that provides you with some shade during hot days in Capetown and we really loved it, just like the pool. The roof top is perfect for a sundowner with a great view to table mountain and Lion‘s head. You have great restaurants and bars in walking distance and a supermarket within two minutes but it’s still perfectly quiet in and around the premises. Lovely place - we will be back

This house will not disappoint! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The home is spacious, sparkling, an organizer's and entertainer's dream, comfortable yet with high-end finishings. You can expect to find that this home will easily match your expectations based on the photos. We are Canadian South Africans who lived in Cape Town 20 years ago. We wanted a space to bring family together. Taryn's home provided that and more! Even though it wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy the pool, it was well maintained. We certainly enjoyed the outdoor space by the pool, sipping our morning cappuccinos. We had so much fun playing table tennis, enjoying a braai and chatting in the spacious living room. The home is centrally located for seeing all the sights but neighbourhood dogs barking sometimes disturbed the sleep for light-sleepers. Even though all bedrooms are upstairs, we appreciated having a full bathroom on the main level for the less mobile family members in our group.

The house is in a super convenient location and presents really well. An ensuite for each bedroom makes it the perfect executive stay or family holiday. Easily accommodated our party of four and we look forward to returning again soon. Thanks Chris for a great stay.

Our stay at Vanessa’s place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and offers breathtaking views of the mountains. Waking up to that panorama every morning was an experience in itself. The amenities were excellent: a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a fantastic outdoor space with a pool that we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is ideal – peaceful and private, yet close to the beach, great restaurants, and attractions like Chapman’s Peak and the vibrant center of Hout Bay. Vanessa was incredibly friendly and attentive, we even were able to book a massage with her. Communication was smooth, and she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly makes this home special is the perfect blend of luxury and warmth. We made unforgettable memories here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to South Africa and Birgit and Eugene made it extremely easy for us particularly during our first few days when we were pretty clueless. But not just that - they continued with welcome and helpful suggestions throughout our time here. The well equipped apartment itself is spotlessly clean set in a really nice garden with a swimming pool and sun loungers. It’s an easy ten minute walk to the seafront where there are a selection of good restaurants offering menus to suit everyone’s taste. The area itself feels very safe and we had no problem walking back at night in the dark. All in all I have no hesitation in recommending Birgit’s apartments.

We loved our stay! Ken runs a tight ship to ensure his guests have the best experience in Cape Town. The house was perfect for our group of five, offering plenty of space, a well-maintained heated pool, and a fantastic outdoor area with a braai and large dining table - ideal for group dinners. Everyone had their own room with essentials like a private bathroom, refrigerator and a safe, while the shared spaces were spacious and welcoming. The place was spotless on arrival, with regular cleaning and fresh linens making it feel like a hotel - only better, thanks to Ken’s personal touch. Location? Perfect. Secure area close to Kite Beach, surf spots, and great restaurants - right in the action but just far enough for peace and quiet. Ken was always available and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend!

We booked Rustic Retreat for our family who were together for the first time in years and it was the perfect place for all of us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Jade was always quick to respond with any queries or needs that we had. The house is very well maintained and is exactly as seen in the photos. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Paddy and Chris are exceptional host, they are very friendly and accommodating. The house is very well kept and perfectly located. It is in a very secure area in Hout Bay. It’s close to local amenities. I would definitely recommend this place and will also book this accommodation next time I am in Cape Town. The house feels like home away from home.

Wundervolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in dieser AirBnB-Unterkunft in Hout Bay! Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – ruhig, idyllisch und nur einen Steinwurf vom Strand entfernt. Jeden Morgen aufzuwachen und die Meeresluft zu genießen, war ein absolutes Highlight. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders der großzügige Außenbereich hat uns begeistert, perfekt, um bei einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren herzlich und hilfsbereit. Hout Bay selbst ist wunderschön – ein malerisches Küstendorf mit viel Charme und tollen Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen oder einen entspannten Strandtag. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Ein echtes Juwel!

Nthabi's place was everything we had hoped for but never knew we would be able to get - a quiet, peaceful, spacious, beautiful and well-provisioned family accommodation at a good price. Nthabi even welcomed us with a bottle of wine. wow! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return, as we plan to come visit our son at UCT from time to time. hope to stay there whenever we are in CT. Thanks for your amazing hospitality.

Tim’s house in Hout Bay is absolutely beautiful. We loved every minute of our stay and Tim was the perfect host - responsive, helpful and no request was too much. We will always have such wonderful memories as Tim was happy for our son to have a very small private wedding ceremony in the garden. It was the most beautiful setting and we will never forget that day. Anyone staying in Tim’s house can’t fail to enjoy it. Very special!

Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt bei Corinne und ihrer Familie. Der Check-in konnte ein wenig früher erfolgen, was toll war nach dem langen Flug und das Haus ist super hübsch eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Insbesondere der große Garten und die Terrasse haben uns sehr gut gefallen und unser Sohn hatte viel Spaß mit den Hunden. Tashi und Niven standen uns während des ganzen Aufenthalts immer zur Verfügung und haben uns viele tolle Tipps gegeben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
