This is my second visit to Darbys Place. It's beautiful and peaceful surroundings is perfect. The lake house will exceed your expectations. My family always feels right at home. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed! Can't wait to visit again.

We had a great stay at Jaki’s house. It is just beautiful and so well done. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and the instructions for check-in/out were very clear. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to many of the attractions we were interested in. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends, and would love to stay there again.

Leigh’s place was cute and comfortable for our stay! It is downtown and walkable to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

Fantastic place to stay for a peaceful time in the woods. Great amenities, love the convenience of the lake! Will definitely be returning. Lodging was clean and cozy, 10/10 recommend!

There were 8 of us visiting Natchez during the annual Pilgrimage of historical homes. We were extremely pleased with the house and the ease of entry. Everything was as described. Gabe was responsive to our questions and when inclement weather caused the WiFi to go out, he was proactive in getting us instructions on how to restore it. That was very important as we wanted to watch the Final Four basketball game when Auburn was playing. All the amenities stated were available and even some that weren’t. Overall the house provided a quiet and peaceful place for us to rest and recharge after each day of touring historic homes. We look forward to returning next year.

Nice home. Very comfortable and clean place to stay. Even had snacks and games for us to play while enjoying our stay. Norma was very nice and answered all questions immediately.

Ellen was a perfect host. Gave us great information, checked in on us during our stay (through app) and instructed us on departure information. The home was, without a doubt, the perfect location for taking in the downtown sights and historic tours. We walked most of the time for shopping, restaurants and a few town homes. The house is clean and well kept overall, especially for an old historic home. Having a laundry room is a big plus! With our particular group (10 ladies from a club celebrating 25 years) we might have wanted a 3rd bathroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker AT ALL. We knew that going in and of course old homes just didn't have those things. Anyway, we are an older group, and though no one is wheelchair bound, a few of us have knee issues so struggled with the brick entry stairs going up to home. Still, please don't let that stop you from enjoying this place! We loved the large bedrooms and 2 living areas. There is a nice back yard sitting area as well.

The house is clean and charming. Very well located in Natchez. The backyard is very nice and was just perfect for us at the end of the day. The house had everything needed to cook meals. Parking space just in front of the house. The neighborhood was calm and safe. The fact that the door code was given to us at the arrival time was a problem (foreign travellers need to have access to their local country phone, not to a USA e-sim , which add cost to get the key). Up front we’ve tried to find a solution with Absolut charm, but they were not receptive to our problem. The host was not helpful to solve our arrival problem. We had no other communication problem during our stay. Beside this communication problem, the place is great.
