Absolutely beautiful house and so worth the money. We recommend renting the Jeep directly from the host - make pick up and drop off so easy. Justin was very responsive and was so accommodating, even for our "above and beyond" requests. Having the cabana right in the beach was AMAZING! THANK YOU for making our stay in Vieques wonderful.

The apartment was perfect for 2 people. Although we decided not to cook on this vacation, we found the kitchen was very well supplied. The view was beautiful from the deck as well as the rooftop and the location is a 5 minute drive to Isabel. Recommend this to be a contender while searching for places to stay.

A lovely house -- roomy, yet warm, with spectacular sea views and direct beach access. Evelyn and her property manager, Betty, were a pleasure to work with. Both communicated clearly and in a timely manner. We will happily return. P.S. Sabrina White catered 11 dinners for us. Each was delicious, fresh and well presented. Can't recommend her highly enough. She made our stay even better!

My family had a great time. Julie and her team were very responsive and friendly. The house was perfect and the pool was amazing!!! Very clean place. Washer and dryer were a clutch amenity. Close drive to and from the ferry. We definitely would stay here again!!!!

First time in Vieques and couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay. This penthouse apt has the most stunning view and is secluded yet central enough to get anywhere easily. Perfect spot to watch stars or see the weather change on the surrounding landscape throughout the day. Outdoor shower is also a treat. Would love to come back here again someday!

We just came back from 6 days at casa Estrella. The house was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable, good shower water pressure, and very clean house. Those are the first and foremost of importance to me. We were very comfortable in this well equipped home with wonderful outdoor spaces. Vieques is a very special place and so is this home. You definitely want to rent a car to check out all the wonderful beaches. Thank you Pamela for all your kindness a flexibility.

We had a wonderful time staying on Vieques! The house is beautiful and came with all the amenities we needed, which saved a lot of space in our luggage. We used the pool and walked to the beach across the street. Horses were in front of our house daily and we had great communication from the host. We rented a jeep to get around the island, which was good since the best beaches were on the other side of the island. The only real problem we faced was that we did not have warm water in one of the main bedrooms in the house. We reached out to the host and she was aware of the problem but did not have a solution - we just used the bathroom in the pool house to shower throughtout the trip because it was the only bathroom that had a separate door. The only other thing that we noticed was that it would be easy to get locked in the whole house and not have an emergency exit, which seemed like a fire hazard. We'd stay here again, but considering the price, would look at other options first.

This was our family's 2nd time visiting Vieques and staying at Casa Mery. We love the location in Esperanza. You can easily walk to a small grocery store around the block, and the Malecon ("the strip") where the restaurants are located is an easy 8-10 minute walk down the street. The roads are well lit at night so we always felt safe walking around the neighborhood. The gated driveway keeps the roaming horses out! The backyard is huge and so wonderful for kids to run around and play in. We all enjoyed picking the mangoes and then using the blender to make delicious smoothies. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a week's vacation. We especially appreciate the beach chairs, big cooler, towels, and laundry facilities. Each room has its own AC unit and ceiling fans. We learned after our first visit that we all need to bring white noise machines if we want to sleep past 5am because the roosters start making a lot of noise that early! Bring bug spray for mosquitoes!

Lovely home, very close to the main strip in Esperanza. You can easily walk to the restaurants and meeting areas for a variety of excursions. Off-street, gated parking and a quiet neighborhood with a backyard. Great setup for kids with bunk beds, toys, pack n play, and beach gear. Kitchen is functionally stocked and we had 1-2 meals there daily. Highly recommend, would return.
