Such a brilliant place- very clean, lovely hamper of breakfast bits left for us and obviously the hot tub! Quiet area, easy to get to Whitstable and Herne bay. Had a great time.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Kate's place! The children loved the outdoor space and the location being so close to the beach was perfect for them to run off steam! The house was lovely and so well equipped for everything that we needed. We had a great week away and will certainly look at coming back again at some point! Simon and family

A Peaceful and Memorable Stay at Oak Lodge We had a wonderful stay at Oak Lodge with our two children, making it the perfect getaway to reconnect and unwind. Angela, the host, was incredibly accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight, providing a relaxing way to wind down after our adventures. The location was ideal for escaping the busy life, with a local park and shop nearby. We enjoyed trips to Canterbury and Whitstable, making it a memorable Mother’s Day weekend and our 10-year wedding anniversary celebration. Though the mobile signal was weak, we actually appreciated it, as it allowed us to disconnect and enjoy family games. Overall, Oak Lodge was a peaceful and refreshing escape, and we left with beautiful memories. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a family-friendly retreat!

Lovely 2 storey barn in wonderful location, particularly if you like to walk. Hosts were super friendly and helpful, great with local recommendations and Aidan even offered to pick us up after 1 particularly long walk 🤣 Our dog absolutely loved making friends with their dogs. Hot tub was amazing and really put the cherry on the cake. wonderful weekend, looking forward to returning Joe, Marie and Reggie

we stayed in hut #2 on Aidan and Wendy's property. The introduction was great, we dealt with Aiden. A straight shooting gentleman, he explained the rules and general procedure to me and my partner before leaving us to ourselves. The property is well kept and tidy, there are security cameras all over the place (they are not aimed at the hut), for that peace of mind. we had a suprise visit from Aiden and Wendy's pup which was a pleasant suprise as our dog made a new friend. The huts are small so with two of us and a large dog it was pretty full but if you've read the description and pictures you'll know what your getting into. we really liked that cosy feel. Especially with the wood burning fire on. The back roads can be daunting to navigate if you are not familiar with country lanes but take it slow and you will be fine. It's worth the trip to Aiden and Wendy's sanctuary.

As per listing, great for a big group, really comfortable seating , living/ dining room has plenty of space, hosts live in main part of house but big enough that there is privacy, host popped round to offer to show us how hot tub worked, very relaxed, hot tub is amazing. we were a group of 9 friends, had a wonderful weekend. every bedroom is incredible so everyone feels special. Great weekend. thank you.

We booked one of the huts here and we absolutely loved this little place. Aiden was very friendly and responsive to our questions and needs. unfortunately we did not get to meet Wendy, maybe next time. The spitfire hut was lovely and clean and there wasn't much that had not been thought of. The sofa/bed was super comfy, giving us a lovely night sleep. The hot tub and sauna were a lovely little touch and we were very grateful for the birthday banner, balloons & chocolates for Terrys birthday. Thankyou so much for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Lisa & Terry

Nice little house. Pleasant decor. Excellent modern kitchen. 4 minutes walk to Whitstable high street and the seafront, with lots of Cafes, Bars and restaurants. It is probably more suited to adults than kids.

We had such a beautiful stay at this lovely house. The house is huge, extremely spacious, very well designed, the decor is fab! Comfy beds! Such a great location to the beach and the nice restaurants! We were a group of 7 ladies and had a great weekend. Would definitely recommend.

Such a beautiful place with gorgeous surroundings……. Couldn’t have been more peaceful only thing to hear was the birds in the trees. Very clean, beautiful cottage……. Little touches like home made bread and jam on arrival hosts were very polite and informative full of recommendations, would definitely recommend we will most certainly be returning ☺️

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

We loved staying at this property. We booked it as it was very close to the Kent Cookery School which we had booked for a belated Christmas present. The property was a quiet and peaceful escape for us for the weekend. The bed was really comfy, the lounge was warm and cosy ( even without the fire on) and the shower was great. Larissa has really thought about what clients need for a relaxing and carefree experience. The property has lots of added extras, there’s a lot of thought gone into this place. There’s also loads of helpful guides and tips for travelling around the area and where to visit. There is a lovely business park next door, walkable in less than 5 minutes with lovely shops and eateries. We could have easily stayed longer in this area. There is a hot tub in the grounds which was amazing. Watching the stars in the dark (no light pollution) whilst in a lovely warm hot tub, with a glass of fizz was fabulous. One of those life experiences that will always stay with you.

We had a few nights at Rea’s chalet during February half term, 2 adults and 3 little children. The chalet was such a cosy place, facing the sea, treating us with the sound of the waves to drift off to sleep. The sunshine in the morning was such an uplifting view. We had a peaceful time, the location is amazing- short distance walk to the beach, and the holiday park has everything you need for young travellers like a heated swimming pool, a shop with emergency wipes etc. Also, the kids absolutely loved finding the kids books in the book case, and some bath toys. The playground was right there next to the chalet. We are very grateful to have had the chance to stay there. Please note if you travel with little ones in winter months, the chalet may be cold to start with as it is not a lived in property, and the check in is after 4 pm, so suggest to pack thick socks and a warm jumper. If it happens to you, don’t worry it, will warm up in a few hours!

Logement très bien agencé , localisation dans le parc excellente Proche de nombreux sites touristiques. Seuls petits bémols les araignées dans le logement qui n’ont pas été enlevées lors du ménage et les rideaux non occultant qui laissait passer la lumière dès 5h30 du matin. Mis à part ces petits détails notre séjour a été excellent

Excellent stay - very large & spacious! The game room was a hit for adults & kids! The two kitchens were very useful too. Can't wait to come back in the summer and make the most of the large lawn & pool!

Simple, easy and cosy caravan with all the conveniences. Normally I’m Not fussed about WiFi but I had to work whilst I was there and having WiFi in the van was a useful touch. The place was clean and tidy and got warm quickly, perfect for a little autumn getaway.

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!
