Beautiful home, surrounding area and view from the balcony! I’ve never seen a kitchen so well stocked with coffee, tea, dishes and utensils. The host communicated with us often before, during, and after our stay and was very helpful in sending us all check-in details and area recommendations. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows, blankets, towels and shower soaps were provided. I felt right at home and would definitely stay here again!

Apesar de não termos tido sorte com o tempo, a estadia foi memorável e pensamos voltar. Casa bonita, com excelentes vistas, muito bem enquadrada. Muito confortável com excelente aquecimento. Encontramos facilmente local para almoçar e jantar como reis.

Beautiful home, the view is amazing and the home is very well stocked with food for snacks and breakfast. Even port to enjoy on the deck with a wonderful view of the river and town. Communication was great and the host was always very responsive. The road to the home wasn’t as bad as feared but the parking was tricky. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!! Wish we had been able to stay longer. All restaurant recommendations were tasty!

La Casa Grande est une maison incroyable, nous avons adoré notre expérience, car oui c’est une expérience! Le chemin pour se rendre à Covelinhas est très escarpé, il faut être prudent lorsqu’on croise des voitures. La piscine est superbe, les chambres sont tous charmantes. Il y a deux petits café à proximité mais sinon on se déplace en voiture. Je recommande fortement.

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

This is a great little place, mainly because of its location, views!!! and infinity swimming pool. The flat itself is functional and nothing special, but perfectly fine. The view from most of the windows is however to die for, looking down a classic Douro valley. The location is nice and quiet, as it’s up the valley, about 15 mins from “the Douro hub” of Pinhau (Pinhão) and 10 min from Tabuaco. André is helpful; however, it would be helpful to have guidance (manual) on a few things in the house such as TV (that was initially not working) and that there is for instance a little tweak to look the front door. The cleaning lady was very sweet and helpful, she also checked that everything is in order with and around the pool.

Es un alojamiento extraordinario con gran amabilidad por parte de Cathy y familia, muy hospitalarios. Una casa con todas los servicios y prestaciones, muy limpio y con múltiples actividades y visitas cercanas que hacer desde la casa. Muy recomendable!

This Airbnb was great for the 4 of us! The view was amazing! The beds were SO comfortable even though they didn’t look like they would be. We didn’t have a car so we would walk down each day to the main part of Pinhão (about 15 minutes) and then grab a taxi back up to the Airbnb at the end of the day for around €7-10. The rooms were decorated in such a way that made us think about the families that lived there in years past. Lots of history!! It was just so peaceful and quiet and relaxing! We loved it!

Eu super recomendo o Quarto da Maria, e a Maria realmente sabe como tratar os hóspedes, me deixou muito a vontade, sempre muito atenciosa, me orientou em tudo, tanto quanto a lugares que precisava ir e pontos maravilhosos na cidade como restaurante pontos pra tirar a melhor foto, curiosidades da região e aos seus arredores, e sem falar na pessoa que por ventura tem um coração que não cabe no peito, só tenho a agradecer a Deus por ter me direcionado até aqui na Hospedagem dela ... e muito obrigado 🫂 Maria "Gina", foi uma satisfação ficar na sua hospedagem ... o mundo seria muito melhor se existissem mais Marias por aí igual a essa ... muito obrigado e sucesso pra vc sua familia, e meus parabéns...

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la Casa Eira. Le logement correspondait parfaitement aux photos. L'environnement est calme et paisible. Idéal pour déconnecter et se reposer. Nous avons adoré. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et viennent en aide au moindre souci. Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons.

Filipa's converted mill is a wonderful place, hidden between the hills. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river and observing the wildlife around it. There are some great restaurants nearby and good hiking opportunities in the nearby national park. Filipa was very helpful and provided lots of recommendations for the surroundings.

Paulo realmente tiene una estancia muy acogedora con unas vistas espectaculares y una ubicación privilegiada. Nuestra estancia fue buenisima, es una casa perfecta para pasar unos dias relajados entre amigos y familia con muy buenos accesos a una zona que realmente, merece la pena visitar.

Lovely setting in the valley with the river rushing by, out porch looked up the river and walks around the grounds were very peaceful, we really enjoyed the area. There were so many small details that made the place special, lighting in the evenings along rhe paths and by the waterfall, kind and responsive communication, lovely and well designed interior, an amazing bathtub with piping hot water, comfy sheets, firewood and more. We will definitely be back.

Jose and Aurora's place was the highlight of our month-long trip in Portugal. They have a beautiful farm in the middle of the tranquil and picturesque countryside. We spent our days swimming in the fresh water tank and local rivers, picking fresh fruit from the trees, playing with the animals, and walking through the cobblestone streets. Their place is perfect for a family with young kids, but is also a relaxing getaway for adults, too. The little cottage we stayed in was quaint, but had everything we needed to feel at home in the country. Jose and Aurora were very welcoming - their hospitality unmatched! They particularly made our kids feel special by taking them to pick passion fruit from their own personal trees and letting the help feed the geese. What an experience. Five bright stars!
