Third time we have stayed here now for snowmobiling. It’s very close to trails. We enjoy this place and appreciate the access to the single car attached garage for when we may need to work on sleds. Perfect place to stay for snowmobiling. The only thing I could recommend to the host, is upgrading the beds as they aren’t very comfortable, especially after a long day riding. Otherwise, great!

Exactly what we needed for 4 adults and a couple of kids for a weekend of ice fishing. Great "Up Nort" experience, nothing much to nitpick! I'd definitely consider coming back here in the future.

Perfect for a family of four. We had everything that we needed and the home was very clean. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We will be back again when we are in town.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was extremely close to the water. I brought my paddleboard up with me to use, but Mark and Wendy graciously allow the guests to use any of the kayaks, canoes, and such. Whenever I had questions, they were quick to reply, and they even texted to check in on me since I was there for an extended time. I highly recommend the Bearskin Trail if you’re there in the summertime!

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

Mark & Wendy's cabin was exactly as pictured - cute & cozy! They were extremely responsive hosts and gave us great recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area. I was curious if the cabin would be covered in dog hair/smell since they are allowed (which was wonderful for us, as we brought our puppy), but there were no signs of dogs other than some chewed up furniture. The lake access will be especially wonderful in the summer. We'd definitely stay there again!

We always enjoy our stay at Susan’s. Her place is very spacious and we always enjoy our visit. The kids love checking out the lake! We enjoy our trips to Eagle River and St Germain for fun activities. Thank you for hospitality! 😀

Want to get away from the city and see nature on your back step, COME HERE!! The deer greeted us when we pulled in and we felt secluded in the woods but everything was at our fingertips. Gene was amazing. We had a questions and replied right away and was very helpful. We came to snowmobile and we didn’t want to leave! We will for sure be back and stay here again! Also, great selection of DVD/Blueray. We watched a few movies at night. We did not have kids but a cute loft for children to sleep and had a few games and Lincoln logs! (Our kids favorite) Thank you again!

This was a perfect secluded getaway in the Northwoods even in the winter. I took a week to work during the day. No issues with Internet connection. And in the evening enjoyed my surroundings and the cozy home. And loved all the windows in the house! The woods on both sides and the lake on one side. The weekend I drove to Ironwood for live music and went hiking at a local trail down the road and then another day at Presque Isle River in Porcupine Mtn State Park. Loved the online handbook to the Airbnb. Finally I got stuck in the driveway due to some weather that came in and the messaged me if I need to be plowed out. I said no but I do need help with my car and the maintenance guys came the next day and took care of it while I was on my work call!! I was SO appreciative. great experience and I would definitely go back.

Wow ! This place is gorgeous, very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Deer in the morning, breathtaking views. The kitchen was very well stocked also lots of supplies for bbq, fire, just like living at home. Comfortable bed. Very attentive host. As soon as we walked into the place and the smell of a wood cabin greets you we knew we would enjoy our stay. Tucked away in the woods this cabin is perfect for relaxing.

We loved our stay! The cabin is cozy and comfortable — and the sauna (easily our favorite part of this property!) made for an even more relaxing experience. We appreciated the attention to detail in the amenities and details. Jesse was welcoming and responsive to all of our questions. It’s obvious that it’s important to him that all who stay have a great experience. Highly recommend!!

Steve and Jill's place is an absolute gem. What they offer is an authentic Northwoods experience. The lodge is a perfectly restored 1900s-era building with a magnificent bar overlooking Moccasin Lake. We stayed in the cabin, which was very private, comfy, and a perfect extension of the lodge. As for the lake, Moccasin Lake checks all the boxes. It is completely private, offers outstanding fishing, and, most importantly, provides complete serenity. Whether you are fishing, kayaking, or just sitting on the pier, the soundtrack will be provided by the call of the loons. On our final evening, while enjoying a campfire, the loons were joined by a fox calling for her kits, with great horned owls adding to the chorus. As hosts, Steve and Jill are among the best I've encountered at any Airbnb or VRBO. In a very short time, they will make you forget that you are guests and give you the sensation that you have been morphed into close friends or family who have been coming to the lake for years.

Enjoyed a peaceful lakeside vacation. Went ice fishing and caught a 24" walleye at night. Perfect weekend and a beautiful view of the lake.

This cabin is definitely cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom has all amenities you need (shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer). There was fresh coffee beans and grinder to make the best cup of joe every morning! The bed was very comfortable as well. At the time of our visit there was construction (not active) at the property entrance which made for a messy driveway. We were made aware and knew to navigate through this upon arrival. This would not deter me from utilizing this property in the future. We truly enjoyed our time!
