I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was! This beautiful home is a reflection of the warmth that Jackie showed us throughout our stay. This is the quietest, most peaceful stay we’ve ever had. The property is so peaceful, the trails were an amazing added bonus and our dog had the time of his life here as well. We were so impressed with the length that Jackie and Jared went to making this home so welcoming, comfortable, cozy, peaceful and fun. We truly felt at home. I hope to visit again. My son and I loved everything about this place and my son kept remarking too about how peaceful it is. Truly so kind for them to share this gem with others. You will not be disappointed. We also loved being so close to the parks we wanted to visit. I am so grateful we got to experience nature and have a soft place to land at the end of the day. Thank you so much for opening your incredible home to us! 💖

Stayed here with multiple families and kids and it was perfect!! The kids loved being on their own floor in the basement and every couple had their own bedroom! The common area was spacious and plenty of dining space!! We had an amazing time having game tournaments in the game area as well!

The attention to detail put into this property is nothing short of five stars! The artistry and aesthetic, from the stairwell to the twinkle lights, create a magical environment. The choices of small things that make a big difference can make the stay! Bedding and bathroom linens are this for me and the Arthur does not disappoint! Our entire family, young and old and furry left feeling pampered and peaceful! We will return!

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!

We stayed for a week. Chillicothe native here - so I knew the neighborhood in advance. The place was just as described and perfect for settling in for a week. Do pay attention to the listing. Brad is very clear that there are steps up to the apartment, and then steps upstairs once inside the apartment to access the bedrooms and the only bathroom. My only caution is - Brad isn't kidding - it's lots of steps. This was a little bit hard for me as I have a bad knee. Just be aware. Also - we wanted to take the bed home with us. That is THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in my life! I would absolutely recommend the property and would rent one of his sites again! We had a great time!

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

What a dream it was to stay at Brenda and Deborah’s place! They were so welcoming (to the point of welcoming us in to share their delicious pot roast and chocolate cake) but they still very much respected our privacy and space. The space itself had everything we could have needed and they went above and beyond to provide breakfast, snacks, and mini toiletries in the unit. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Athens!

I had a long stay here and it was perfect! The place is new and was very clean. kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Fawn was a great host and was always quick to help with any questions I had. Enjoyed my stay so much!

Me and three other guest stayed for one night and had an amazing experience! The space was the perfect size to comfortably fit four people in a tiny home. There was plenty of fire wood accessible and a stunning overview of the forest sitting from the fireplace. The hot tub was nice and warm with jets and lots of different led colors to choose from. Overall it was a very comfy and relaxing stay and would definitely recommend to anyone considering!

Such a beautiful cabin! Very clean, spacious, and accommodating! Everything about this cabin was wonderful! Our family of 8 had more than enough room, fun with all the games and hot tub and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery! We would love to return on our next Hocking Hills getaway!

we had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Margot was a great host! the cabin was very clean and there were even some sweet treats and fresh eggs for us. we loved looking out the window to see the animals too

Jessica was a wonderful host and super helpful and responsive to anything we needed. The place is beautiful and the house was very clean. Our time there was pleasant and very enjoyable. The drive up to the house does require a 4WD or AWD vehicle to reach the property. We hadn't paid attention to that note, however, Jessica went out of her way to have a friend take us up to drive when we arrived. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Hocking Hills area.

It was a great stay and the host was super responsive when we had an issue arise. The only downfall was I didn’t realize we couldn’t drive right up to our cabin which was not super ideal when it was cold and the walkway wasn’t super well lit. The drive up to the parking is pretty steep with some big potholes so I’m glad we brought the SUV. Overall a great stay, and I would book with Book Hocking again.

Cabin was amazing and so relaxing my family enjoyed every moment! The host was great and very nice. My kids said we for sure need to go back can’t wait for are next stay!
