What a stay we had! Jackie is a one-of-a-kind host. She was incredibly kind and communicative and went as far as to give us a fantastic list of many recommendations for food and things to do before we even arrived and during! The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained, it felt like a sanctuary. The house has a very special coziness that I hope to recreate in my own home! It rained most of our trip, but the beauty of Hocking Hills shone through, and it made the hikes even better by creating some awe-inspiring scenery around the waterfalls of Ash Cave and the many other trails. 10/10 experience, I am excited to come back to this same place in the future!

We enjoyed our time staying in the house and loved the surroundings. Lots of woods and nature around. It was about 40 mins to Hocking Hills, but worth the drive. Everything in the house is very well thought out and comfortable. There were detailed instructions for using the fire table, connecting to the internet etc. The house was decorated in a modern way yet rustic. Everything was very clean and the owners even left some treats for us to enjoy. Communication was great and responses were quick. We will definitely have to come back next time we are in the area.

Stayed here with multiple families and kids and it was perfect!! The kids loved being on their own floor in the basement and every couple had their own bedroom! The common area was spacious and plenty of dining space!! We had an amazing time having game tournaments in the game area as well!

We had a wonderful time. I will definitely recommend it to others. It was very beautiful and very relaxing for us.

If you’re debating on The Arthur-here’s your sign-book now! It exceeded our expectations! The pictures looked great online but it’s even better in person! The home is perfect: adorably decorated, very clean, best sheets & blankets I’ve experienced at an air B&B & soaps/shampoos smelled SO GOOD! We enjoyed the privacy & plenty of space for our kids to run around. The hot tub, sauna, movies in the barn & more! The hiking trails are about 20-30 min drive but we don’t mind because we like the privacy. Great place to unplug. Can’t wait to go back!

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!

This cabin is only 11 minutes form Ash Cave and the South Eastern corner of all of the Hocking Hills attractions that we came to see. A very cozy 'home base' to explore the local area, caves and attractions. The hot tub was the best part of the day after a full day of hiking.

I was in town for a concert and some hiking & this place was perfect! Short drive into town, peaceful location, and a clean simple apartment. The hosts were helpful and available.

I stayed at Tony’s place while in town for work. It has a comfortable bed and is in a quiet alley with one apartment next door. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook my own meals. I feel like it was a good price and would definitely stay again.

Deni's place was perfect. Gorgeous setting and immaculately clean. Deni was very communicative and so kind. The home is off the beaten path but also very close to everything. The listing honestly doesn't so the actual rental justice. It was much larger than expected. Will definitely stay again.

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. Bob made us feel right at home in this inviting and cozy atmosphere with a touch of class. The kitchen was well equipped to accommodate my need to prepare my own food. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. We will definitely return. Thank You.

Perfect stay for the person or people who appreciate and love old homes

Perfect peaceful getaway—ideal for families! We had the most wonderful stay at this private, cozy retreat. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, making it feel just like home. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the bathroom extras were a thoughtful touch. the hot tub was perfect after a long day hiking. We didn't bring our kids this time, but there were plenty of toys for the kids and an amazing selection of board games for the whole family. It really felt like a place we could stay for weeks and never get bored. (We are for sure an outdoor family, but the tv had cable which was great!!) Plus, it's just a short drive to Hocking Hills State Park and other great hiking spots. The porch swing was the ideal spot to enjoy a morning coffee with the beautiful surroundings. Download the directions before you drive out! We hope to one day return with our family when our kids are a little older.
