Bridgette was very helpful and quick to respond when we needed a last minute booking! The spot was very quiet and peaceful and a plenty places to take our pup for a walk.

Very comfortable and cozy. This was my second visit and I really did enjoy my space. I appreciate you guys for always being responsive & kind. P.S. I love the back porch set up, it’s felt refreshing to have a nice background while live, it’s appreciated 😀 Highly recommend as always! Oh and Belle lol, is amazing! Marnie and Steve’s AirBnB accommodation is clean, private, and secure. They made me feel at home. WiFi was strong, and I was able to work online as naturally as if I’d been in my own home office. They were helpful and friendly, but also respectful of my privacy. The dorm-sized refrigerator and microwave helped me save money on food, the twin bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom with shower was extremely clean and functional. I highly recommend this accommodation, and would stay there again.

Absolutely the best location in Portsmouth! Charming home with interesting history. A very short walk to great Portsmouth attractions, the waterfront, ferries to Norfolk, etc. Highly recommend Cathy’s place for your stay.

My stay at Ethel's was amazing. The entire room was exactly like the pictures. I felt completely at home. The room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. I will reserve her space when I come back to VA. I really enjoyed my stay there. She was very responsive and her instructions for the check in are great.

Jerome was very very accommodating and super helpful with me my wife and dog. We were in one of the worst situations we had ever been in and we’re desperate for help and to be cut a break. Jerome and his wife Cristy provided that and beyond. Super communicate, super on top of everything, if there was a problem no matter how small or large they had it rectified posthaste. They even completely cleaned up their rather large backyard just so my dog could have somewhere to run and play. As for the room itself, when we arrived it was very clean and very spacious for it only being a room. He has a very large tv and a roku stick for your access to whatever you would wish to watch. There is lots of storage room for your clothes and whatever else you may need. There is also rather spacious mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable as well. There are also two very large windows that can be opened or closed if you need a breeze. Cristy cleans like a mad-woman so any mess that may be around in the house is cleaned before you even realize it. The bathroom was very clean and they even left us a travel bag of toiletries. They have two very friendly cats that love attention. This is in fact a smoke friendly house, which is an incredibly rare find. Thank you so much Jerome and cristy for all of your hospitality and help during this impossible time that I found myself in.

He was very flexible with check in and was polite and respectful. The place was beautiful and just a few minutes from the ocean.

My room was not only extremely clean, but was also in an adorable, convenient area as well. The check in message was very informative and I had no trouble getting into my room. The other people staying in the building were respectful and quiet as well. Will definitely be staying again!

Upon check-in we were welcomed with the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. They offered us local discount cards to use at restaurants during our stay, and provided us with all of the information we needed for our stay. Xiaoming was always fast with his responses and was very helpful. The resort was spotless and had a comfortable atmosphere, and the sky lounge is most definitely worth the visit! We were provided with complimentary breakfast, a beautiful view, and even a free raffle entry during our breakfast. The room was spotless and the hotel staff were very accommodating. Overall this will be my go to spot to stay during my trips to VA beach from now on, absolutely perfect!

This was our second time staying here (different room) for my husband’s birthday weekend. Renovated in recent years, the white with black accent scheme makes everything feel very clean. Feels cozier than a standard hotel room, and the shower in the room we chose this time was huge. The Waverly tool also had a nice soaker tub. Fresh pastries from a local bakery were a perfect start to the day. Location is perfect, and it’s central to just about anything you’d want to do in VB. Great stay for individuals or couples visiting the area or just need a getaway.

First let me start off with how beautiful the place was! It was well maintained and VERY VERY clean! I loved that! The security is well too with coded doors which made me feel safe and well taken care of! Upon arrival we were greeted by Frank and he was so sweet! He gave us breakfast boxes for the next morning which were great! The place is close to the beach as well. Only took us 5-7 minutes walking to get to the beach. I definitely would recommend this place as it made me feel at home and I’m sure it will make you too!

mark was a wonderful host. He was very attentive to my needs as a guest and was also very sociable. His place has so much charm and personality - I could really fee the joy that eminated from it. You guys were the BEST! we can’t stop talking about our trip to Williamsburg and your beautiful bed and breakfast! The room was beyond beautiful and The theme was fantastic and our breakfast name plates were just that finishing touch! Debbie and her husband take a great deal of pride in their home and Bed & Breakfast. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests feel right at home, they have a fantastic system and are very organized! The breakfast is ALONE WORTH BOOKING THEM FOR! Never have I or my husband had such an outstanding and beautifully set up breakfast at a B & B before. My husband still keeps saying he misses Debbie’s breakfasts! They are both extremely knowledgeable and they show you the best places to eat and explore while you’re in town! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was one of the most wonderful stays and all the credit goes to Brenda. We were fatigued from a long travel day and she did everything to make us feel at home. Friendly, kind, thoughtful, respectful, helpful, the adjectives go on and on. After the most comfortable and quiet night's rest we woke to appreciate the beautiful country setting and this lovely historic home. What a delicious breakfast! We were back on the road with more miles ahead, so this stay really helped us revitalize. We are already planning to stay here on our next trip in this direction. We also hope to see more of the area and enjoy some of Brenda's suggestions.
