Beautiful large home minutes from the beach

Matt's home is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. There was a lot of attention paid to our needs such as laundry detergent, garbage bags, etc. The house was well supplied with the necessities to cook, plenty of towels for both bath and beach, and working appliances....we felt very much at home. We were visiting our daughter who goes to a college nearby, and she took advantage of staying with us and commented on how comfortable the bed was. We look forward to staying at Matt's home again.

What a beautiful and serene space for a women’s retreat! It is very obvious that the home is very well loved as well as very special. We all discussed coming back again because we enjoyed the space, the comfort and the scenery very much. We thoroughly enjoyed the great blue heron right outside the window each day as well as breathtaking sunsets. It was hard to get back to the grind after such a beautiful sanctuary weekend away.

I had the most incredible time staying at this beautiful house on the Chesapeake! The views were absolutely breathtaking — every morning, we woke up to stunning water views that truly made the trip unforgettable. The house itself was perfect — it had every appliance you could possibly need, from high-end kitchen gadgets to convenient extras for a comfortable stay. What really impressed me was how organized and thoughtful everything was. Each space was clearly labeled, making it super easy to find everything we needed, which made the entire experience feel seamless. Whether we were cooking, relaxing, or just enjoying the scenery, the home had everything we could have asked for. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home!

Cathleen and Chris were great hosts. They were responsive and super helpful when I realized I had booked our stay for one day too short with a group of 16 people. They graciously allowed us to stay another night, helped us with a slightly earlier check in and were super friendly! I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here!

I really liked the place, it was very easy to access the beach, I celebrated new years at this amazing property! The beauty of the canal really completed the trip!

This home is an absolutely FANTASTIC getaway location! My family enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The house was as pictured and as described and then more. It is a quick ride back to the water where we spent most our day. We would finish each day with a dip in the pool and hot tub. The back yard view is fantastic as well. My kids spent so much time fishing off the dock on the canal catching crabs, and white perch fish. We loved all the horse views at all random times of the day. I could go on, and on! The hosts were very responsive to all my questions and so accommodating. I would give this home 10 stars if I could!

Great place! Only one suggestion..replace the master bed frame. It’s very squeaky and the slightest bit of tossing and turning wakes you up.

We stayed in the off season, and the houses nearby were unoccupied. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The house was perfect and Kimberly was very friendly and communicative. We’ll definitely rent this house again!

This is a quaint home in a nice neighborhood. They kitchen had great appliances, and the home was nicely decorated as a family home. The back yard could have used some attention as it was full of leaves and not able to take our dog outside the fenced area due to the debris. The beds had older mattresses, but the bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great home and I would recommend this to someone needing a dog friendly home.

The house was perfect for what we needed it for. Clean and spacious with lots of fun toys for the little ones. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, and fast food! Our group had 5 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of space. The neighborhood felt safe. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The Smack Attack is a very nice Airbnb and Sean is a great host! Everything is exactly the way it’s advertised, it’s very close to the beach, yet off the main drag so you don’t have to worry about a lot of traffic. The house is fully stocked and was well equipped for what we were looking for. Sean was very responsive, helped out with a slight issue getting in and overall was an outstanding host. Would highly recommend this airbnb.

We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

We really enjoyed our time at OVR Beach House. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. The house was large very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. Shilpa was a great host, always responsive and helpful. We’d definitely love to come back! Thanks for making our vacation special.

This is the perfect place for a family vacation. Very short walk to the beach (5-10 minutes) with a good bit of shade. Biking/longer walking distance to the Corolla lighthouse and Whalehead home. The backyard is pretty private and we never heard much sound from the neighboring homes. It looks exactly like the listing and has all the listed amenities. Would love to stay here again!

Eugene’s home is beautiful and nicer than the pictures portray. The setting is beautiful even in March. The house was spotless and very comfortable. The location was a short car ride from Yorktown and Williamsburg. Great stay would definitely recommend this home.

We stayed at Coral Reef over the Veterans Day weekend. The house was super clean and organized, there was plenty of room, the bathrooms were updated, and the kitchen was spacious and modern. I was thrilled that I didn’t need to run out to buy any essentials. The backyard was big, and the neighborhood was quiet at night. There was plenty to do between the state parks to hike, playgrounds for the kids, and, of course, the ocean. I had several questions before and during our stay, which Pip answered promptly. I would highly recommend Coral Reef to everyone. Thank you to Pip & Sheryl!!

We had a girls weekend at the house. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It was close to the beach, super quiet and in a very walkable area. We will go back to Stephanie’s house again for sure.
