Spotting the Dragon Tree overlooking the marsh brought home the magic of St Helena! Raia's home was very comfortable and stocked with all the mod cons (a beautiful shower in the master bath, well-set-up kitchen, comfy beds). Nonetheless this place felt lived in (in the best, most authentic way), from the wonderful wicker bed to the vintage porch furniture to the Jonathan Green prints on the wall. It helped us get a sense of the community that surrounds it ( made even more vivid by our introduction to St Helena's Gullah history with Gullah-n-Geechee Mahn Tours, which we highly recommend). Because the road to the house is long and winding (and because Google Maps etc struggles with rural neighborhoods), we suggest you follow Raia's excellent directions (not your phone) and try to arrive before dark. I could sit on this screen porch forever and never feel I'd wasted a moment!

Our stay was very comfortable. The charming ranch is updated with marble counter tops and backslash in the kitchen, easy glide doors in bathrooms and a powerful shower heads. No odor, no carpeting and clean throughout. Should we have to be in the Charleston area again, if available, we won't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Sand.

We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb! Exactly as described—very clean, spacious, and served all our needs. Our hosts were very responsive and kind. We really enjoyed our first time in Beaufort and this location had us a few minutes drive from all of the action. Can’t recommend highly enough, we will be back!

Amazing house, just as shown in pictures and description. Was very clean upon arrival. Plenty of silverware, plates, glasses, etc in kitchens. Nicely decorated, lots of seating in home. Pool and hot tub heated as we requested for the addition fee. Only issue was the torn screens that allowed leaves to enter pool area and the pool. Had to constantly clean the pool out as leaves accumulate quickly. Elevator was not functioning upon arrival, but hosts quickly addressed this once we noticed them. Description of beach supplies that they provided not accurate. Only one beach chair, we assumed there would be at least 4-6 for us to use. There was one bike, could not use as missing a pedal. Overall a great home with just about everything we wanted. Super clean, plenty of towels. Hosts very responsive. For what we paid for home would have been nice to check in earlier than 4pm. Would stay here again, great home and great location.

Nice, welcoming home in a very quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed and more and was located close to all the sightseeing we had planned.

My spouse grew up in Charleston and we—with pet in tow—make one or two trips a year to the area... We've stayed in a number of AirBNBs along the way but had never found one we wanted to return to as our "Charleston place"—until we found Debbie's home. When we walked into the house we immediately felt at home; the vibe is cozy, chic, relaxing... and the kitchen is enviable. I think what's ultimately so great about this house is that you can tell Debbie loves living here. That translates into such a good experience for a guest. Park Circle is quiet, walkable, and there's an abundance of great restaurants nearby. We tried a new one every day and weren't disappointed with any of them (EVO for pizza, EVO Bakery for breakfast pastries, and the Tattooed Moose for sandwiches stick out). One the rare occasion I had a question for Debbie, she always wrote back within 10 or 15 minutes—and she was one of the most accommodating and generous hosts we've ever experienced. We WILL be back!

We loved our stay. We visited our favorite restaurants, beach and other spots in the area and loved to come back to Amy’s home. We especially enjoyed the fire-pit while looking at the lake or fishing it. This is a special property filled with beautiful trees. I’m glad we had a chance to enjoy it and meet Amy, her daughter and dog Charlie. They were super friendly and welcoming. Amy has created an inviting and colorful space with her curated decor. We would definitely stay again.

Such a cute place in an amazing location! I loved that there were 3 full baths and we could walk everywhere. We will definitely return in the near future!

It took us awhile to pick our Airbnb for Charleston, but we were glad we picked Bohemian Darts hosted by Brett. We came to Charleston for a girls weekend with long time high school friends. The price was reasonable. The location was excellent; we could walk to North King and easily drive into the historic section. The apartment is a single second floor unit above a design business. The apartment was clean and spacious with simple, tasteful decor. The kitchen was well equipped, including a drip coffee maker and dish washer (and 8 coffee mugs!). The living room was comfortable for four of us to hang out in between activities. Brett was quick to respond to the wifi/Internet issue caused by a local outage. Parking is available onsite for one car. There is a coffee/smoothie/breakfast/wine shop across the street and a bagel place a block or two toward King. We would stay here again! (and yes, there are darts, but we didn't play)

Kenneth was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. The place was very clean and perfect for our getaway. It was in the center of all of the areas we needed to be. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a nice, well stocked place within walking distance of a bunch of great shops and restaurants. The host responded quickly and provided all the necessary information. I would stay here again and recommend to others who want to explore Charleston.

Highly recommend. The apartment is beautiful and clean with stunning views. The location is great as it is next to a restaurant and coffee shop. Downtown is a short drive over the bridge. Tom is a great host and provided lots of recommendations for the area.

Jamie and Zack are great hosts! They are friendly and responsive. Their house has everything you could need for a long term stay. The location is great and the backyard area is a great bonus :) I’ll definitely be back!

Close to downtown , reasonable price and had several bedrooms to fit our large family We were in town for a wedding and were able to spend some down time together on the porch or in the living room - was so much better than a hotel!

Matthew's place was great! It was comfortable, clean, well appointed, as shown on-line, and centrally located in downtown Charleston. The bed was comfortable and gave us a good night's sleep every night (not always a given...). And Matthew was very responsive. We had a light bulb out in the bathroom; it was fixed within a couple hours. Last, but not least, when we left a phone in the apartment, Matthew saw to it that we received it the next day. He really took great care of us. We will definitely stay there again!

I cannot say enough great things about renting from the boys of HHI. They were so responsive thru out my booking process, leading up to the trip and during my stay. The house was wonderful and they had so many touches that made you feel right at home. The house had everything we needed and more for our stay. It is so rare to stay at an AirBnB and have the luxury of staying at a hotel (shampoo, body wash, coffee, snacks etc) but that’s what they provide. Highly recommend!

This condo was absolutely beautiful! The location was peaceful with a great view and right by a beach boardwalk. The inside looked to have been recently updated and it was done with exquisite taste. The kitchen was gorgeous and the bathrooms had a spa-like feel. It was decorated beautifully and tastefully. I appreciated that it had everything needed, but was clutter-free!

I couldn’t be more pleased with our stay here. It offered just the privacy we wanted for our anniversary trip, plus the convenience of getting to places quickly and easily. I was incredibly impressed with the kind gesture of champagne, to offer further congratulations for our anniversary. This place is an absolute gem!

Great place to stay! The kids loved the games and toys. Having all of the baby items was just what we needed.

This was a perfect spot for my family! We were right down the street from our grandparents house on the island. It was clean, comfortable and just as it was described. The location is beautiful with the most gorgeous view of the sunrise. We will definitely be staying here again should we need another place in the future.

This was a great spot for our group of three women. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. We were able to prepare some meals there and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable with great linens. The family room was a great space to hang out together. This was a great location and a quick walk to the private beach area.
