We really enjoyed our stay at Waihi beach, a beautiful well appointed home. Super central location close to shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed some cold drinks in the evening on the deck. And the kids enjoyed riding their bikes and scooters on the concrete driveway. Check in and out was super easy. Graeme and Judith were great at communicating with us throughout. Would absolutely stay again.

Lindsay's place was the best staging area for the Hobbiton portion of my journey. The views were amazing and the heated lamps in the bathroom feels awesome when you feel cold!! Also glad I got to pet the pony and their new puppy =)

Great stay at Rose and Wal's and such lovely hosts to deal with. We appreciated the Welcome note and cold water on arrival. Accommodation is larger than the photos, had everything we needed and was handy having the breakfast items. Hosts live upstairs as described, but house is large and very sound proof - we could not hear anything. Has own private entrance, large deck area and pool. Matua is a lovely suburb and we enjoyed our neighborhood walks - the coastal walk is just a skip and jump away. Thanks Rose & Wal, it was lovely to meet you.

Great place for couple with young children. Everything you need available in the home and very warm and welcoming feeling to the home. Would definitely book again if I’m in the area

Linda & Graeme were the perfect hosts. Everything about our stay was first class, from the very nice rooms to the amazing breakfast in the morning. They included a drop-off and pick-up (late at night) in their van from the wedding venue which was 20 minutes out of town, which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay there again when we need accommodation in the area.

Simone was so helpful and accommodating to our check in needs. The cottage is in a very central location and has all the amenities you need.

The cottage was very clean, tidy, comfortable and peaceful, the large lawn provided plenty of space for the kids to run around, the secure bike storage was ideal and having the kitchen stocked with basics for making breakfast was a great bonus that helped make the mornings go that bit smoother. Will definitely look at staying here again for our next Rotorua trip :-)

a delightful stay at Peter and Betty's place. very comfortable and had everything you needed. Lake view was amazing. located close to supermarkets, adventure activities and not far from CBD. Wished we could have stayed longer!

We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

l will be back again, when visiting family in Auckland Rose's place was just lovely, amenities breakfast and Surrounds were amazing. Spacious living area couldn't ask for more thankyou Rose

Julia and her husband are amazing hosts. The directions to their home were spot on. The kitchen was stocked so well one could stay there a week and never have to shopping. They really exceeded any expectation anyone would have of a host. They recommended we go to another town for something called the Beach Hop - what an amazing experience. Thanks to Julia, it was an amazing day. They provided a shovel for use at the Hot Water Beach. All in all this was simply one great place to stay. We were there for three nights but felt so comfortable, if time had permitted, we would have stayed longer. One suggestion though is that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Although you are perched on a hillside, downtown is a short stroll downhill

Really loved our stay at this absolutely stunning apartment - super comfy, clean and well-equiped with everything we needed. Electric blanket came in handy, kitchen was well-stocked and check-in was easy. Also really handy being so close to Britomart Station and an array of great CBD restaurants. Truly an amazing apartment - highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

Absolutely incredible. We had the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. Rozelle is a really lovely person and host who goes above and beyond with your stay with her kindness, responsiveness, detailed recommendations, thoughtfulness and helpfulness. The views are something from a postcard and the fact that you can see these from every room is spectacular. The peace, quite, and beauty is absolute bliss. The bus route is right there so it’s easy to get places and there is also a more coastal walk that you can do to Oneroa which is beautiful and not too strenuous. The accommodation is wonderful. It has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. You felt that you had luxury throughout. Highly recommend :). Thank you for a perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Great location! Lots of restaurants, shops, department stores, etc. In walking distance. Great public transportation. Lots to see nearby. Great host! Lack of central ventilation could be problem if you like coocking. A/C would be nice.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb—definitely a 10 out of 10! Everything was spotless, super clean, and perfectly organized. The thoughtful details from the hosts made our stay even better. The breakfast they offer was incredible, a perfect way to start the day. But the best part? The beautiful sky, the privacy, and the peaceful surroundings. We will definitely be back someday!

On this, my second stay at this excellent Airbnb, my wife joined me. Like me, she really liked the place: very clever design, quality fittings, comfortable bed, electric blanket, excellent shower, heatpump etc. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge etc. All the makings for breakfast were provided as well. There was a large TV (with Freeview - which has 20 or more channels now). Located on a 'no exit' road, there was absolutely no traffic noise. The Airbnb unit was separate from the Owner's house. Sitting on the verandah in comfortable chairs, one could hear many birds singing away. We can thoroughly recommend this place.

Staying here made our trip magical. Sandra is an absolute joy and an incredible host. We loved getting to enjoy the starry skies in the hot tub and the sunrise over the hills. We would come back here in a heartbeat!!

Stunning home & location. Peaceful, relaxing & private. Amazing breakfast both mornings provided by Bozena & Murray. Yum! Even on request Bozena made delicious burgers for dinner after our busy day sightseeing. Pristine home. We would love to stay again in the future.

Every bit has nice as the pictures and descriptions. For us, it was a perfect overnight stay between Waitomo caves and Hobbiton. We had one issue where the shower went from hot to ice cold. Even after cycling off/on, it was still cold. Unpleasant for the wife. However, the next morning it was fine. Nick was very apologetic and even proactively issued a partial refund. He said it is a new system and that had never happened before. I still gave 5 stars because of his response, and I think he will look into the issue. You might inquire if it’s been addressed. Otherwise, it was a completely lovely stay.
