This place was so much more beautiful than expected. Adele made everything so comfortable and exceeded expectations, making us lots of goodies upon arrival and preparing the hot tub so it was warm for us. The place itself is so perfect, gorgeous views and modern feel whilst still feeling natural and peaceful. We only stayed for a weekend but could’ve easily spent a week and still wouldn’t have felt long enough. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so so much Adele ☺️

We had a lovely peaceful stay. Such a quiet and pleasant spot so handy to Raglan. The bed was super comfy and the spa was a real treat.

Just an outstanding experience. We absolutely loved the bucolic landscape. The house was perfectly appointed, cozy, private, with amazing views, incredible stars and birdsongs at night. We hope to be able to return someday.

we needed a stress-free weekend and thus place was bang on!

Having stayed at a B&B the night before, we were wishing to stay on one more night somewhere more quiet and more us. Unable to use a booking service we normally do, due to their website undoing maintenance, I soon spotted cozy cabin. We were not disappointed at all. Quick response to booking request, welcome arrival after a long day in the bush hiking. Clean, tidy, nice use of recycling timber for building this beautiful cabin. Loved outdoor bath, could have slept in that! Being so new, still had a lot of privacy screening to provide by the lovely trees planted for screening. Great outdoor facilities, camp fire, sitting area, BBQ. Little bit of noise from the close main road was the one and only down side. Overall great experience. Thank you Mandy.

Mathew's place is truly special — from the fun 4x4 ride through a deer park to the cabin, to the stunning views, total privacy and the covered barbecue area. Just know that it’s quite off the grid, which adds to the charm but also means it’s a bit rustic — the space wasn’t spotless (some dead insects in the outdoor shower, beddings didn’t feel fresh), but it felt understandable given the remote location. The ride with Mathew was super fun (we stood on the back and held the rails!) but it was raining, so we arrived completely wet — not a problem as we had jackets but might not suit everyone. When we arrived it was foggy, so we didn’t see the view until the second evening — but when it cleared, it was absolutely worth it. We recommend coming once and staying put — we walked 45 minutes back to our car as we had some program in between, but it's a nice walk. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different who doesn't mind a bit of adventure.

We had an amazing stay and it was even better than we thought! Super private with an easy access road, it was the perfect place to unwind for the night. We really appreciated all the small touches and absolutely loved the two outdoor baths. Bed was super comfy and the whole place was very clean and had everything you need. Will definitely be recommending to our friends, thanks again!!

Just loved this place. The autumn made it such a beautiful place with light fog, the animals and Mt Te Aroha. What wonderful hosts that made us feel so welcome.

Dave is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. The cabin is cosy and well appointed and in a beautiful sunny and peaceful location. Our dogs loved the space and especially enjoyed meeting Dave's own dog (and they are very sorry about the destroyed toy!). Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with their 4 legged friend. We will definitely be back again.

Had a great stay at Jason's place, Jason and his dad were very friendly and helpful with any queries and made us feel welcome. We really appreciated the bikes and enjoyed riding around the town. The cabin was cosy and very well equipped. We would love to return

Our roadtrip took an unexpected change in route so we unfortunately didn't make it out to Rachel's place (which we were very bummed about given how cozy and characterful the log style home it!). When I reached out to Rachel she was very understanding, responsive, friendly and even tried to work with us and be flexible with our arrangement- something she was not at all obligated to do. Next time around, we will try to come back- the surrounding area looks enchanting and we are anxious to explore Coromandel Peninsula!! Rachel was extremely helpful too!!

We had a very positive experience and would return again. However I must complain about the Airbnb security to complete this survey, there are 6 steps to Complete, which is ridiculous for a survey.

What an incredible place to stay. We absolutely fell in love with the privacy, and stillness of the rainforest. The cabin had everything we needed and more, homemade biscuits, eggs in the fridge and chocolates on the pillows were a lovely touch. Thank you and congratulations on a beautiful property. Will stay again.

Unique spot with incredibly beautiful views. Gorgeous interiors and exteriors, and we loved the tub. I would say this spot is better for two in the warmer months as there is no AC and the main area with the pull out couch has no fan so it remained quite warm. But it was totally fine with windows open and the fan blowing in the bedroom. Luke was very responsive and nice. The drive to the location is on a very rural gravel road with many turns and if you are not a confident driver I would not recommend coming at night.
