Great location, just a short walk to both BayFair and the beach - perfect for a summer stay. The space is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. Charles and Kylie were excellent hosts, very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend.

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.

We had a great stay! The house is spacious and well-equipped — perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. The location is convenient, and we really enjoyed the view from the windows. It was exciting to watch planes descending and trains passing by — the kids were absolutely thrilled! Highly recommended for families or groups.

Great little place right on the beach. The home is far enough back where you have plenty of privacy and it is just a short little walk to the beach. The home is cozy and is a nice little beach house. Perfect place to spend a holiday.

The High School is opposite the house and the street traffic can be busy during drop off times the rest of the day / night is very quiet. This is a good house with easy access to both the motorway and Papakura business district. Plenty of off street paring.

This is an amazing place to stay. The house is modern, clean and reasonably well equipped. Les and Karina were gracious and friendly hosts and were happy to share stories about their amazing property and the area surrounding it. This was a stay that we will remember and will use as a benchmark in many ways.

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

We were very happy to spend the last 4 nights of our NZ trip at Toka Ridge 4. The property was pristine with beautiful views of the lake. It was a quiet area that felt a little remote, but the shops, restaurants and bustle of Roturua were just 15-20 mins away. Two easy Alltrails walks were within walking distance of the property. The Hamurana Lakefront Reserve Walkway (offering great views of the lake) began just down the road and, near its end, the Hamurana Springs Loop Walkway (a lovely/surprising mix of redwoods and cold springs with lots of ducks) began across the street. A few mosquitos did find us while visiting the jacuzzi just after dusk, but did not bother us during the day. The consensus of our group was that Toka 4 was the nicest Airbnb of our 5+ week NZ stay. Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

A beautiful renovated old house with higher ceilings and lots of nice decorations, big rooms and lounge/dining area/kitchen and a big garden. Good beds, shower, TV and WiFi. It has almost everything except a BBQ. There is a washing mashine and dryer (which does not work that well anymore), dishwasher, a pool with salt water, a wonderful whirl pool which we had to get up to temperature first and could only use from the second day. It is a shame that they put in a carpet in the lounge/dining are and another carpet on top. This carpet curled and was a trip hazard. The one toilet and the dryer were not clean but the rest was good. There was salt but no pepper. It also provided tea, coffee, sugar, oil. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much. We forgot a bag and they sent it on to us free of charge. I enjoyed the closed verandah and used is as an office but the socket behind the desk did not work. We found a power strip and a (dirty) extension cable. There is also an iron and ironboard.

A lovely villa, beautiful lake views, Comfortable beds, so cosy and warm. Easy check in, fast communication with hosts. All amenities provided and super clean Thank you to Alma and John

Gaewyn’s place was kept beautifully inside and out! They are both lovely people to stay around and chat withand had the additional bonus of Miles (dog) who was always there to greet us when we returned home. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I can back to New Zealand ☺️

En general nos gustó la casa estuvimos muy cómodos, sin embargo tenía detalles por mejorar como artículos basicos de limpieza. Está muy cerca de la playa y ese es un plus.

The property is beautifully presented, in a very quiet and picture perfect location. We had a wonderful time, and surprised ourselves with the good rest we all had. The living space and outdoor area are massive, and it is a very perfect location for a weekend away.

Nothing fancy, but decent place to stay and great value for money. Location was great, everything the village had to offer on walking distance. For the kids the playground and swimming pool were cool. They also had an amazing time with the other kids. Lack of smart tv was compensated by a nice collection of dvds at the reception desk which were free to use. Night sky was amazing with Mars and Jupiter in clear site.

I didn't attend but I did the booking for a Secondary Schools Golf Team, who thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

We had a huge week looking after a school group while staying at Jacqui's place and the only negative was that we could not spend more time at her place around the pool or enjoying the incredible grounds
