Sandford is an excellent host and communicates well. When he didn't have what we had requested he was ready with a suitable substitute and allowed us the choice on whether to switch our reservation criteria. I like being offered solutions, not just "no." And, the accommodation was very nice.

We love how kid friendly the Paniolo Greens is! Pool is heated and open til 10, great relaxing hawaiian style music and vibes. Lots of great new restaurants and delicious food close by. All the best beaches are very close too. I loved all the other kids at the pool for mine to play with, made a very relaxing time for us parents when our kids are happy and tired. Mahalo for being keiki friendly and letting parents get a break Paniolo Greens!

Pretty awesome spot away from the touristy areas. Has a nice pool and clubhouse. 10 minute drive to beach. Great space too.

Very cost reasonable, safe, quite, and clean place to stay on Big Island. Condo complex overall is a little dated, but 1BR condo we had was extremely spacious, had all the modern conveniences needed, and is very well located relative to all conveniences - grocery store and coffee house is a short 5 min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved everything!

We were a family of 6, 4 adults, 2 teenagers. Lots of space and bedrooms and bathrooms. Well appointed kitchen, easy to store groceries and make meals! Quiet stay, great pool and bbq area. Easy to get to beaches and Kona. Made use of renting sand toys, boogie boards and beach chairs. Our stay was perfect!

Kalven was super nice and responsive, we were very happy with him as our host! As the Kona Coast Resort is a Wyndham / Shell Vacations property the checkin was done with Wyndham staff on site and in that sense we had nothing more to do with Kalven. Regarding the Wyndham property, Kona Coast Resort: brown brown brown, everything brown! The place seriously needs updating, it's super old, but it was clean, very spacious and a pleasant place to stay. 2 good swimming pools and a wonderful view from the main reception. Kona is generally a very expensive place to stay, this was no exception but it was pleasant. Thanks Kalven!

This is my second time staying at kalvens place and words will not explain how beautiful this place is I had an ocean view, I felt like I was at home big living space had everything you needed on property. 10/10 will recommend with this place if you come to Kauai

Paniolo Greens has very spacious rooms. Convenience of in room washer & dryer is huge plus. Grocery is close by. Feels very private and safe. All staff is very friendly. This was not our first visit here. We come back because it’s a good stay.

We stayed at Kalven’s place with our baby and we loved our stay there. Kalven was very responsive at all times we’ve reached out and very easy to communicate with. The place was beautiful, peaceful and close to restaurants and some nice beaches. The amenities we used, like the hot tub, were also great. We ended extending our stay two extra nights and we appreciate how smooth and easy the whole process went and the fact that we didn’t have to check out and into another apartment. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Best price/value ratio on the island!

The condo unit was spacious. The complex was quiet and lovely. We enjoyed walking around the complex. The unit was a little dated, however, we loved how large it was. Plenty of room for 4 adults to move around. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishware.
