Stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing, great location and neighborhood. Extremely well furnished, comfy towels and bed. I will definitely consider staying here again. Check-in was a breeze.

After staying at Benny's we feel like we have come back from a beautiful remote island getaway. The outdoor area was so lush and it was so peaceful, we loved sitting outside and listening to the ocean waves in the distance. My partner and I struggled to be out at the check out time due to Aimz Games and the hectic traffic there was on top of school drop off being a 45 min drive turning into an almost 2 hour drive.. But Benny was super helpful, even going as far as helping me to carry my luggage for me! we highly recommend staying here if you need a quiet getaway by the sea. Absolutely loved it, wish we could have stated longer!!

Our stay at Sonia’s Otaramarae house was amazing from start to finish, we usually stay at a very basic kiwi bach in Rotorua and this was a whole new experience with all the mod cons, comfy beds, wifi, Sky TV and a smart TV. The animals were very entertaining, fun to feed, and the daily fresh eggs were a big bonus. Already booking our stay for 2026 we enjoyed it so much. Sonia was super responsive to questions before and while we were there which was great. Appreciate being able to stay at this little piece of paradise.

A wonderful experience, clean and tidy, completely consistent with the description. The internet speed is excellent, there is ample sunlight in the yard and there are no mosquitoes or insects around in night as sleeping with the window open is stress free. There are all the tools needed for cooking in the kitchen. Thanks for everything!

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and was in an amazing location. There was plenty of space for everyone to lounge and relax, and we loved how close it was to the beach and great cafes in town. There is a small Four Square supermarket about 10 mins walking distance which has plenty of supplies (including Mount Sourdough Co bread!) and a larger New World supermarket that was a short drive away. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home, and for coffee making had both a French press and a coffee pod machine and a milk steamer. The Mount Surf Co sells coffee pods from Flight Coffee and was our favorite place to restock the pods. We loved our stay and would definitely return :)

Lovely house and grounds. I only wish we weren’t just there for work! Would definitely stay again!

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.
