Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had some family out from the UK and went for this property for the view and spa. We were absolutely blown away by the view and the house. Beautiful decor and great kitchen equipment. Not the cheapest place but worth spoiling yourself for. Paihia is a great little spot with plenty to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Bobs place. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Very easy going and quick to respond, so peaceful and quiet and looks just like the pictures. 5 star

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karl’s house. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-equipped with amenities as described, including a hot tub under the stars. We are so glad we included a few days in the Northland during our trip. The natural beauty is outstanding, and we hope to return in the future.

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

Great location and very comfortable stay. The house is in excellent condition, much better than the pictures. Beautiful outdoor deck to relax in the sun. The host was very responsive and helpful.

A wonderful place and great hosts. The pond right below the property is beautiful and the kids enjoyed running around and exploring. The place was specious, clean and perfect for our family stay. Thanks for a great experience, we'll definitely come back again if we'll be in the area.

This apartment was absolutely brilliant! We only meant to stay a few night but ended up staying more! Kelly was very helpful, and the apartment was perfectly placed in Russell. It had all of the amenities that we needed. We loved it! Thanks Kelly.

Utterly gorgeous accommodation, beautiful decor, clean and spacious, decent hosts, just wished there was 2 single beds as well as the queen bed! Would love to visit again in winter and get the fire going. Really cosy vibes

Joanna's place was filled with care and consideration. Lovely retro decor, luxury bed linen and great colour combos. A sanctuary close to the kauri forest. We felt right at home and enjoyed cooking our meals in the well thought out kitchen with plenty of utensils. Joanna also organised massages for us on the last day with Feur and Jed. And they were exceptional. We had such a lovely nurturing weekend away!

This accomodation is full of personality and it is an interesting and enjoyable space to be in . While the Dairy Factory is an old building ,all the surfaces are freshly painted ,clean and well cared for. The fresh flowers and produce bring a welcoming touch .I will definitely recommend and will definitely return with the team I work with.Many thanks Sue

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a busy Christmas Day with family. The outlook was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the alfresco areas, playing pétanque and finding the tree swing. A simply beautiful retreat to relax and unwind.

Carmen and Justin are friendly welcoming host who go the extra mile to ensure you have a memorable relaxing break in their beautiful home. From the start they had excellent communication-accepting our late request on a busy weekend with a contractor rounding up on site. The home is cosy, clean, stylish and ideally located. It was children friendly and had plenty of board games and entertainment for quality family time. Despite our short stay we would highly recommend and book again in future. Thank you for a short and sweet getaway.

Beautiful, peaceful location. House was spotless and had everything you needed. Multiple outside zones to enjoy the nature and water views. Super private and only a 7 min drive to the heart of Russell.

James was a very accommodating and responsive host, the two properties are exactly as shown and served our large family gathering well. We got to hunker down in a cyclone but always felt sheltered and safe. Great for large groups!
