Absolutely loved our stay! We just stayed for the afternoon to get away from the city. The area was absolutely stunning, the accomodation was cute, and there were lot's of lovely animals running around. Our host was very hospitable and walked us to the accomodation (5 minute walk). He even had the hot tub filled with hot water for us. Very highly recommended. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Ths was one of the best places I have stayed. The cleanliness was next level and all the extras supplied with fresh home made bread and other goodies in the fridge.... Our privacy was absolutely respected even though their home was not far away. I would definitely come here again whenever I want some time out. Very well done to these hosts.!!!

This was our second stay at Natalia’s place, which is one of our favourite local airbnbs. The place is beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches. Hosts went above and beyond with personalized birthday wishes and little extras for us. Thanks for another great stay, we’ll be back soon:)

My partner and I stayed in the beautiful cabin for two nights, we had such a peaceful time! The hot tub was perfect to relax and look at the stars! We will definitely be returning next time we're staying in palmy!

Lovely, peaceful stay in a very private location. Outdoor bath works really well (and was very welcome post-Tongariro crossing) and loads of space on the deck for relaxing. Ended up doing most of our cooking outside as not much space on the sides indoors but as the weather was warm this was quite a nice change. Would definitely recommend.

got to spend a couple of nights here for our Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike! Great location, just a few minutes away for restaurants but yet peaceful and quiet. The spa was very nice after the long hike!

A lovely private cabin amongst the trees with the sound of the river and cicadas. The bed and chairs were extremely comfortable and the cabin was very clean. Gail also was able to provide access to indoor bathroom/shower and some kitchen facilities as there were no other guests staying at this time. Gail was very friendly and helpful and a lovely host.

Absolutely beautiful stay. We had the best time sitting out on the deck and watching the sun go down. Very clean and comfortable beds. Would 100% stay again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with no restrictions, this is it! Do whatever you want—no rules, no stress. It’s nothing flashy, but if you just want a no-man’s-land kind of spot, it’s perfect. Great for families, especially if you’ve got a spoiled kid who needs space to run wild!

Had an amazing time. Really enjoyed the easy access to the Tararuas, the fire pit and the hot showers! It was the perfect setting to catch up with some old friends.

We had a great time in Ohakune -- the cabin is a holiday property so is a little rustic, but had all the facilities we needed, including a clothes dryer, and is quite close to town. We enjoyed the views toward the mountain, though couldn't see too much of the mountain itself because of the low cloud. The cabin is an ideal place to stay for a few days in winter or summer, though the two bedrooms are closely connected (the only exit from one bedroom is through the other) and there is only one double / queen bed, so is probably more suitable for a family with young kids.

The Tiny Escape is a beautiful tiny home, with one of the nicest views we have come across in a long while staying at AirBnB’s. Fraser and Michaela left super easy to follow instructions and the place was perfect for our quiet weekend away! The farm right off the deck is great too, being able to watch the deer with a morning coffee. The place felt very private and peaceful, so I would absolutely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing and cozy time away from home! We will definitely be back in the future!

Short and Simple - an amazing place to stay if you're looking to unwind. Remote, cosy private. great amenities and great comms by Martha! wish the tub was working but these things happen. adequately stocked up! Wouldve been good to have a PowerPoint in the bathroom but not a biggie! Thanks again will return

An ideal place to come as a mountain biker arriving in Wanganui! Beautiful and accessible, with essential amenities and a helpful pair of hosts!

Nice place, clean, well laid out. Friendly cats. Fresh flowers were really nice. Soft towels greatly appreciated. Nice to be able to bring in fresh cool air through the windows. A lot of extras were provided such as butter, milk, cereals, chocolates (yum!), spices, coffees and the list goes on! Definitely recommend.

This is a very cute, tidy and well set out place to stay for a couple of nights. Only downside for us was having only single beds, but since we were in the area for other reasons than hanging out, it was fine. Kitchen is great but only has 2 of everything so had to keep washing cups etc! Friar Tuck restaurant and bar in Takapau had great meals and we had a fun night with the locals 😃

Short and sweet stay, had everything we needed to relax and unwind. Such a beautiful location. Easy check in and out. ☺️ would definitely stay again!

Definitely recommend staying here at Raman's place! Raman is a friendly and helpful host who made us feel right at home and even have us some homegrown lemons :) The place is cozy and cute in a quiet area of town. It has everything you need with a kitchen, washer, and TV. The surroundings are beautiful - you are a short drive from a beautiful beach and nature reserve close to Kapiti Island.
