Great location, lovely host. Everything we needed for a complete 'switch off'.

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

What a beautiful place. Truly magical spot, with a lot of love gone into it, and the yurt was incredibly cosy even in early March. The birdsong in the morning is incredible, the dogs are a lot of fun, the robins were very tame and cheeky. Tracey and family lovely, helpful and then left us to our own devices. The hot tub was a little difficult to get to the Goldilocks temperature but that’s the nature of wood fired. It was incredible to stream under the stars though. Beautiful place, five stars

I had an absolutely delightful stay in Yvonne's lovely cabin. How refreshing it is to have no phone signal or WiFi, it has left me feeling so very calm!! The cabin is such a cute little place, hidden away, feeling very private with everything you might need, including super efficient heating!

Lovely cabin, well equipped, clean and tidy and very comfy bed! Very good location for exploring Eryri and Anglesey!

This is our 2nd stay here at the Glenpod. we had a great stay as usual. It's the perfect location to base ourselves to explore Pembrokeshire. The pod itself is comfortable and the garden is perfect for our dog to explore. David is always so welcoming and is always there if we need anything. Sonny is always there to greet you in the mornings too! The added extras are the fire pits which is perfect to relax by at the end of a long day's walk.

We had an amazing New Year’s stay in Bryan’s cozy pod cabin. It exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this peaceful spot. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and sea. One highlight was sitting under the stars watching the Northern Lights by the fire, an unforgettable experience. Aberdaron village is nearby, with a café and shop, but far enough for complete tranquility. We explored nearby spots, including Traeth Porthor for a beach walk, Braich Anelog for scenic mountain views of the Irish Sea, and Mynydd Mawr, where we watched a perfect sunset over Bardsey Island. Bryan was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The check-in was simple, and his communication made everything seamless. This trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. We’re already planning to return in the summer. We highly recommend

Stayed for 2 nights at Julie’s beautiful Shepard’s hut. From arrival we had the most relaxing stay, the Shepard’s hut was warm and cozy! The hut was immaculate and had no issues whatsoever so ever. Julie was super friendly and answered any queries we had! On the Saturday night we ventured out to the local pub and had a fantastic night out for the rugby. The locals were all so friendly. Will definitely be returning in the near future for a relaxing stay.

Amazing setting, lovely set up. Very clean and spacious pod. Warm and cosy. Hot tub was nice and warm before we arrived which was a fab surprise- and really easy to maintain the temperature.

We stayed at The Cwtch for 2 nights and we had the most peaceful, comforting and lovely time. The weather wasn’t the best however the lodge made us enjoy the weather as strange as that may sound! It was cosy, homely and very intimate and made us feel extremely comfortable. The wood fire and hot tub were a perfect touch to the lodge and made the stay lovely. It was clean, well equipped and was very unique. Leah and Jared were amazing. They made our stay a whole lot better with their friendliness and communication. Any requests we wanted were attended to extremely fast. We left feeling relaxed and we are already looking at coming back this year.

We had an amazing day! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Clear instructions on how to use everything inside the hut. The hot tub was huge the photos don't do it justice! The milk and prosecco in the fridge was a great touch ❤️

We had the most relaxing stay here. You are literally in the middle of a field with no one around, meaning it is incredibly private. We were provided with San Pellegrino, Welsh cakes and a lovely welcome note on arrival which was a lovely touch. Bed is comfy and the under floor heating made the pod lovely and toasty. There is little to no signal, no WiFi and basic tv on the property so I would recommend this place to people who are looking for quality one on one, no phones time. (A massive positive to us) There’s a shop close by and plenty of lovely restaurants. We recommend the Sea Shanty in Trearddur Bay. The only issues were old empty packets left in the tea and sugar pots. And the house rules explains that the hot tub is tested 3 times daily, however that definitely wasn’t the case and I felt that the hot tub could have been cleaner. However, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Definitely recommend staying here. The home was lovely and the view was beautiful . Loved seeing the animals. They did not disturb us so it was peaceful like we hoped. The hosts were very helpful.

Thank you Anna and Jim for letting us stay in The Bothy. It was perfect for us and our dog Buddy. The accommodation was cosy, well equipped with great outdoor space. It was ideally located for stunning walks, with a dog friendly pub/hotel within walking distance for tasty food. Thank you for being so welcoming. It is somewhere we will definitely be returning to.

Perfect location, loved the peace and quiet and watching the sun go down next to mountains, the hut was spotless and had everything you could need, very comfortable and easy access to every where you may wish to visit. The garden was safe and secure for our dog and nice touch with dog bed, blanket, towel and treats, would love to visit again

I stayed two nights at calm acre cabin with my dog. We have been to lots of similar places for short weekend breaks, but I must say calm acre is my favourite! We walked for hours and miles around the surrounding areas. There were great views and lots of hills, streams, bridges, wild horses and hundreds of sheep!🤣 We bumped into two dog walkers over the whole 2 days so you really are very secluded and remote. After a day of exploring the wilderness we would arrive back to the cabin, take my muddy boots off and your dog can go for a quick swim in the private river access (to wash off any mud.🤣) then it was time to have a cup of tea and light the fire pit and sit in the cosy outdoor area until dark. I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time inside the cabin! The comfy mattress and hot water bottle was lovely.. everything is simple and easy. Chloe has thought of pretty much everything you may need and if not she is always nearby to help you out if you need anything. :)

Absolutely loved our stay in the tree house! The location was ideal as it was really peaceful and out of the way, but close enough to nearby shops! We loved exploring the beaches on Holyhead Island and found lots to do within a short drive! Staying in the tree house is a really unique and lovely experience, it's well equipped, beautifully furnished and surrounded by friendly peacocks! We were made to feel really welcome and looked after by our host and the two lovely dogs! Would definitely recommend as a place to stay and would happily stay again!

honestly what a stay. from the minute we arrived until we left Sean (David, haha) has been so attentive and accommodating and just lovely the whole time. daily messages and ideas for places to go. so friendly and welcoming, not a fan of camping myself but this has definitely changed my mind. I know this sounds weird but I loved the shower then outdoor experience was phenomenal. 100% recommend also take hiking boots and flip flops despite the rain and flooding it was beautiful.

Clean, peaceful and in an excellent location, had everything we needed and we felt very comfortable. I Would definitely stay again, very friendly and responsive hosts, smooth check in and easily accessible with parking right outside your pod 👌🏻

We had an amazing stay at Maya and Robin’s beautiful cabin! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the cabin itself was spotless, cosy, and welcoming—especially with the fireplace already lit when we arrived. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Maya and Robin were fantastic hosts, incredibly kind and thoughtful. The enclosed garden was a huge bonus, giving my dogs plenty of space to roam and relax. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat/getaway - we'll definitely be coming back!

Great place to stay to get away from busy life. Can't help but be stunned by the nature that surrounds you, and the stars. Jazz and her family made the place to be so cosy and entertaining for the three days we stayed. Make sure you get in the geo-dome at night with all the lights (including the solar ones) turned off, it becomes such a comfy little space to watch the stars.
