Was looking for a place to chill and just relax. This place was perfect for that. The recent rains had the pond and river unusable but that is not the hosts fault. We were able to find nearby places for the kids to throw a line. We will be back for sure. House feels roomy. Was very clean. Park was quiet.

Very nice and clean place. The host was great and very helpful. Quiet neighborhood. The house is near Elkins Lake Golf Course for our tournament which was super. We’ll stay here again for our next tournament in Huntsville

I recently stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and couldn't have been happier with my experience! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel both unique and welcoming. The amenities provided exceeded my expectations; everything you could possibly need was available. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Huntsville. The house is always clean and so peaceful. This is our 3rd stay and our favorite in that area. Calicia is always quick to respond and so accommodating. We always have everything we need when we stay. My elderly parents 85 and 81 love this house and always hate to leave it.

Sam’s Cottage was super cute and very clean. The location is peaceful and the yard is kept nice and neat. I loved the porch, it was very big and had a lot of seating. Evelyn was very sweet and responded in a timely manner whenever I had a question. She kept everything you could think of needing while away at a hotel, only it wasn’t down in the lobby for an additional charge. She keeps bottle water in the fridge and little snacks for her guests, very thoughtful. Thank you very much for the fantastic hospitality, Evelyn. I would recommend Sam’s Cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Huntsville, TX.

This quaint little cabin nestled in the woods was the perfect getaway from city. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, lots of space to walk around and lounge and listen to the trees and birds , this is the place. The hot tub was a nice addition during the night, we got to enjoy it under a full moon. Nelson creek was a nice hike and my partner and I initially got lost on the way there but the host responded quickly enough to reroute us in the right direction.

What a wonderful place to get away for a peaceful weekend. The cabin was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and taking walks with us on the property. The directions to the cabin were excellent so it was easy to find, even after dark.

We really enjoyed our stay everything is perfect with complete amenities and generous supplies. Its a great romantic getaway surrounded by nature and definitely will be back and recommend it to other people.
