Rachel was a wonderful host. We went away for a girl's weekend in the mountains. We felt right at home and didn't have to worry about having the necessary tools for cooking or relaxing. She thought of everything from the little helpful tidbits in the bathrooms to the kitchen. This spot is tucked away in a quiet, private spot. Wifi was strong, and everything worked great. The hot tub was a special touch, and my pup loved running around in the snow.

Great relaxing place for a get away. Very clean, Amy was quick to respond if we had any questions. Overall great experience.

Everything was very clean and organized when we arrived. They went above and beyond with amenities and had more than what you could even think of to use around the house.

Our group loved this stay in Wintergreen! Extremely accessible to the slopes, with multiple amenities included within our airbnb. Plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of supplies from top to bottom - if you forgot something, chances are the house has it! However, we found that the hot tub was not clean prior to our stay, and the bathroom floor heat was unavailable. Overall though, very nice stay and would recommend to others!🙂

Very lovely cottage and vacation experience, within walking distance of east coast wings and star bucks. Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions to the cozy feeling.

Heather & Scott’s place was super cozy and comfortable. Close and convenient to all the local breweries and wineries. The place was absolutely pristine!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Our family had the most peaceful retreat to David and Kit’s cottage, and they were very generous hosts, treating us to a morning with the cows and rides around the farm. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed to feel right at home. There was so much opportunity to enjoy the outdoors both there at the farm and in the surrounding area: hiking at Douthat State Park, swimming in the Cowpasture River and the Warm Springs Pools, going on a carriage ride through the equestrian center at The Homestead, sightseeing the Falling Spring Falls and Humpback Bridge. We enjoyed starting and ending our days waking up to mountain views and the sound of the cows lowing in the fields and our walks around the farm, down to the river and up to the pond. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had in our 10+ years using the app. We’ve already shared this listing with friends and have started a list of what we’d like to explore next time we travel to Bath County.

Kind of bummed I was only here for the one night because this was such a great, comfortable place and near a lot of cool stuff. It was a layover stop on a long drive, but exactly what I needed. So cute and I loved the very secure and private yard for my canine roadtrip partner. I can't get over the awesome spa shower, which was the highlight of my night. The recliner sofa was so comfortable that I unintentionally passed out for most of the night there and then relocated to the bed, which was also lovely. I would definitely look here first if I'm in the area again, and hopefully stay longer to take advantage of the location more. Thank you!

The highlight of this stay was the gorgeous beaverdam waterfall, but the cottage is also lovely - very charming and comfortable. You can tell that Beau has put a lot of thought into making the property welcoming, and when I had an issue with the wifi router, he and Leah were very quick to address the issue, even though it was late in the evening. My dogs and I did several wonderful hikes in the Washington and Jefferson National forest, and it was nice to be able to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space afterwards.

Had a great stay! The area around the winery is secluded and quiet. This cottage is attached to the tasting room. We were there when the actual winery was closed for the week, so not sure if there’s more traffic when it’s open. Kitchen is a little lacking in counter space, but we found everything we needed in it to make a few meals. We had more than enough space to hang out as a family of 4. Loved sitting outside on the porch to enjoy a cup of coffee. If you are traveling with little kids, or people with mobility issues, be aware of the spiral staircase to get to the rooms upstairs - this was not a surprise for us and we were fine with it. Only wish we had had some options to get food delivered, but not a big deal if you plan for it. Also, as mentioned in the description, there are a few beetles/bugs in the house, guessing because of the wooded location. Again, nothing that would change our minds about staying here. The cabin is rustic and feels like it is miles away even though it is only 15 minutes or so from town. Very nice surroundings and cozy. The hosts are hospitable and very accommodating. We would stay again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay! This airbnb is in a great location and felt right at home with all of the amenities provided. Melinda is a great host and is very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

So relaxing, peaceful and quiet. The views of sharp top and smooth top mountains were a joy. Romeo, the cat, was so personable and welcoming. The inside was conformtable and felt like our home. We were close to the attraction we wanted to experience (kayaking on the James, Virginia Safari, many hiking trails). The kids played outside and loved the large space to roam. I would recommend Misty Hollow over and over.

Wonderful stay! The house is thoughtfully decorated and arranged. Kitchen small but very well equipped- we cooked two breakfasts and two dinners and had everything needed to do so. Lots of extras t/o the house as well. Like soap, shampoo, towels, coffee, and snack bin! We loved the porch while watching and listening to the river with a glass of wine. Parks are both so close and fun for little ones. Thank for sharing your place. We will be back.

What a wonderful get away! Our family stayed here about 2 years ago and had such a wonderful time. We couldn't wait to get back and it didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful stay and weather was great. Such a wonderful peaceful place. We always feel right at home. Craigs Creek is such a beautiful clean creek. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just hanging out in the water. Definitely will be back again. So thankful this host shares and blesses others by offering their place to others. For being where it is, Wi-Fi/internet works great and there is even a landline! Thanks again

We were staying the weekend for the Maple festival and Patti’s cottage was absolutely perfect for the weekend! Soon after arriving I got a migraine and Patti was so accommodating and let us check in a few hours early so I could rest, an absolute life saver! She provided everything we could have needed and more! Definitely will be returning!

Beautiful location, mountain backyard view. Very slow paced community which is very much appreciated from the fast paced life style from working in D.C. A much needed get away everything in the listing was accurate. The response time from the host was very quick and helpful. Would recommend this spot to anyone for a beautiful weekend getaway. Will be back again in the future for sure.

Daniel's place was perfect for our stay. It was conveniently located near many breweries, distilleries, and wineries which we took advantage of. The property itself was situated up a hill with gorgeous views of the surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the Charlottesville/Nelson County area for a getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay for our friends bachelorette weekend, we enjoyed the games they had in the closet, we had plenty of space for all 9 girls even with it being only one shower, we made it all work! It was nice having the half bath too! We loved being so close to Blue Mountain Brewery. Thank you for a great weekend!
