Wenn man auf Retro steht eine sehr empfehlenswerte Lokation. Wundervoll zum entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Werden wir im Sommer wiederholen und da geht’s dann auch aufs Wasser 😎

Wir waren mit der Freundesgruppe im Kurzurlaub. Das Haus war wunderschön und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Richard hat uns freundlich in Empfang genommen und uns alles erklärt was wir wissen wollten. Bei Fragen war er immer erreichbar und auch schnell vor Ort. Wir hatten ein fantastisches Wochenende und viele schöne Erinnerungen die uns erhalten bleiben. Amsterdam war gut mit Auto zu erreichen wo wir einen Tag in der Arcade halle verbracht haben und an der Prinzengracht. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt 🥰

Sehr schönes Haus in absolut idyllischer Umgebung. An das Bootshandling gewöhnt man sich schnell. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, wir und unsere beiden Teenager haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Man kommt schnell nach Utrecht und Amsterdam. Sehr empfehlenswert!

This place is a fabulous spot! The host is very friendly, responsive and easy to work with! The view is incredible with water on 3 sides! There are 3 floors so perfect for a family. It is walking distance to the supermarket, shops, and restaurants. It is easy driving to Amsterdam and other towns in the Netherlands but not in a crowded touristy area. This was the perfect stay, I highly recommend it!

A beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet place. It has everything we needed for a long time stay. Jorrit is very helpful, ha was always avalaible if we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place.

Wir haben uns sofort in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt. Sie ist sehr sauber und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Die Küche ist Top. Die Aussicht und der Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

My partner and I spent five nights in the cabin and were absolutely in love with the place! The cabin is incredibly cozy, and with a lot of personality. It was clear that Han has put his heart and soul into it and we loved it. The location is superb, quiet and within walking distance from the lovely Alkmaar although we very much preferred to stay in and enjoy the cabin and sorroundings, as well as the very friendly animals. Last but not least, Han is one of the loveliest hosts we have ever met and could not do enough for us during our stay, even kindly offering a fascinating tour of the 1632 mill! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Saskia’s house. There was everything necessary for cooking and comfortable beds. Amsterdam is only a 45 minute train ride away. We want to thank Saskia for reserving the bikes and calling for the great weather. We will recommend to our friends.

Nous somme rester 2 nuits et, pour commencer.. Hôte super sympa, très aimable ! Le Airbnb est très bien placé, zone super calme, facile à trouver, parfait pour être posé tranquille. Le logement est très beau, une très belle déco mis apart quelques traces sur les rideaux, les murs et des petites taches sur les robinet lavabo et douche et ça n’est pas très visible mais sinon rien à dire, rien de dérangeant, c’était parfait !

Super Unterkunft! Sauber, gut ausgestattet und in einer ruhigen Umgebung gelegen. Nicht weit vom Meer, aber die Großstädte sind in direkter Reichweite und mit dem Auto als auch mit der Bahn sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Υπέροχη διαμονή σε άρτιο εξοπλισμένο διαμέρισμα με εξαιρετική θέα στα κανάλια. Καθαρός και προσεγμένος χώρος. Είδαμε ένα απο τα πιο υπέροχα ηλιοβασιλέματα της ζωής μας!

Le logement est conforme à la description. Propre et bien équipé, l’environnement est joli et paisible. Mike est un hôte de confiance et la communication est facile.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Fantastic nature, close to the major cities Utrecht and Amsterdam, cca 30 minutes by car to either one. The apartment is on the roof of the building, surrounded by succulents and flowers. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The nature park part of the lake is a must see. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we will be back for sure!

Great stay! Station and trams so close! Would definitely stay again

The place is a dream, very open and yet the personal spaces feel very private. If you go with kids as a couple, this place is great for privacy. Many towels at our disposal which was great. I went with my friends and daughter. I didn’t use transportation. We had a private parking spot which was awesome. Thank you for everything. You can feel at home here. Very recommended!

We hebben een heerlijke Kerst/Oud-en-Nieuw vakantie gevierd in het huisje van Anja. Eigenlijk heel weinig toe te voegen aan de eerdere recensies. Het is een knus compact huisje dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Alles werkt prettig en goed, een fijne vloerverwarming, complete keuken met inductiekookplaat en een hele goede combi oven. Het bed is prima en de badkamer is ruim. En ja, het uitzicht is echt heel bijzonder, zo ver kunnen kijken over het rivieren landschap! (We moesten gewoon weer even wennen aan veel minder uitzicht thuis! :-) ) En er is zelfs een elektrisch oplaadpunt waar we onze phev op aan konden sluiten. En tot slot ook nog een hele fijne energetische behandeling gehad bij Anja! Dank je wel Anja, voor het heerlijke verblijf!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en genoten van het uitzicht. Het huisje was schoon en netjes en van alles voorzien. Het uitzicht was geweldig. Helaas liet het weer het niet toe maar de mooie momenten hebben we heerlijk op het terras en de steiger kunnen zitten. We logeerden in huisje # 5. Echt een aanrader. Goede bedden en volledig uitrusting in de keuken.

Wundervolle, gemütliche, ruhige Oase vor den hektischen Toren Utrechts mit einem schönen Blick ins Grüne. Rudi ist ein tolle, herzlicher Gastgeber bei dem man sich sofort willkommen und Zuhause fühlt.

We staied at John´s house for 4 days and we had the best time there. We were 6 pepople, with 3 generations, so this was the perfect place for us. It was cozy, everyone could have their own space and you could find anything you needed in the house. The livingroom was best spot for all of us to hang after spending the day visiting. The area is absolutely beautiful and we loved all it had to offer. We could visit a lot of places within a 20 minute car drive or 1h to a few farther ones. We were there just at the begining of the flowering season so the landscape was amazing. Communication with John was very good. He was very fast to answer and he gave good recommendations. We really recommend this house to anyone travelling to this area.

We stayed at Nicholas place as a family of 4 (2 children 3 & 6) plus my mum who came along as babysitter! The house is very family friendly, the kids bedroom was great and full of toys, plus a swing and drum kit which our kids loved. Directly outside the front of the house is a small play park which kept the kids entertained too. Really comfortable beds and very well equipped apartment. The square and the surrounding area is one of the most picturesque place we have ever visited. Beautiful architecture and lovely cobbled streets, a very short walk to a beautiful town which has restaurants, patisseries and small shops. We hired a car which worked well as we could drive into Amsterdam in 25 mins, where there are endless things to do. There are supermarkets and other things to do really close by, by car or bike. We would absolutely come back and stay here again! Thankyou for having us!

We had such a beautiful stay - I wish we had stayed longer! The village and cottage were perfect for a calm, relaxing haven away from the bustle of the city centre. The food at the village cafe was lovely and the mini marché was so thoughtfully and well stocked for its size. Lonneke kindly sorted us bikes to rent and we went up the cycle path from the village with our kids for an hour and it was glorious! The view of the canal from the house was unreal and we loved sleeping on the open mezzanine level - it was like waking up in a tree house! If you love thoughtfully designed spaces, nature and adventure located just out of the main city you’d love it at Lonneke’s for a base to explore the area and Amsterdam itself which was a short bus/Uber ride away. Thank you Lonneke!

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We spent a great day there! Everything looks even better than on the pictures. The house and surroundings are really cozy and peaceful, good for walks or relaxing cycling. We met a beautiful sunset on the terrace (feels private!) and had a nice breakfast (kitchen is fully equipped). We stayed there in the middle of March, when it wasn’t so warm outside, but inside the house it was nice and warm (you can use an air conditioner for hitting and it works absolutely fine). The host is friendly and proactive — all our questions were addressed even before we asked it 😁

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt, nur leider gab es keine Rollladen oder Gardinen im Schlafzimmer was aber auch der einzige Kritik Punkt ist.👍🏼
