Older home with character. Loved the interior decor and it was centrally located for our needs in Newport.

This was the perfect place for three friends who write and workshop together online to gather in person. The main room of the house is filled with light and what I didn't realize from the listing is the beautiful view from the living/dining room down to the river. The kitchen is well supplied and every room was very clean and uncluttered. The three bedrooms on the first floor are all very nice, with good beds and pillows (one is slightly larger with a king-sized bed), so we were able to decide on our rooms painlessly and none of us had to settle for an inferior room. The large dining table was perfect for spreading out our work as well as for dining, and one of us enjoyed having the furnished basement as her private work space. When we had a problem with hearing a beeping noise, which we initially thought might be a smoke detector battery that needed replacing, Bob was very responsive and helpful in figuring out the cause of the beeping from a motion detector. We plan to come again.

"Lovely Day" was the perfect getaway we were hoping for. The place looked exactly like the photos showed: beautiful sun-filled front-room, nice spacious kitchen with an open concept, and the easiest access to a private beach. The place had two bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed and one with a bed bunk) and a bathroom (with washer and dryer), so it's perfect for a family or a small group of friends. Maybe because it was winter but we were the only ones around, which made our time at the beach even that more enjoyable. Fairhaven is about 10mins away with enough services and restaurants, although we brought everything with us so that we wouldn't have to rely on those. Do note that the exterior and interior walls are a little thin, in case you're sensitive to noise. Overall, a wonderful and peaceful retreat.

This house was spotless. Everything felt clean, the beds, the bathrooms. 5 bedrooms all nice size and clean. No carpets which is fantastic when you allow dogs. So happy to bring my two Bostons. Plenty of supplies and kitchen utensils. Nice backyard and neighborhood. AC worked great. The only thing I would recommend is a door on the outside shower. From CT and we don’t have outdoor showers so it would have been nice to have everyone shower outside. Other than that it was perfect for my family. Loved having the bikes ! Jackie left us wine and snacks totally appreciate it. We had a great week.

Great location with all great restaurants and shops within steps of the house. Easy 10 min walk to Bowen's wharf, and also a delightful 25 min walk to the Mansions and Cliff Walk. House was very well equipped. Only slight issue was the only bathroom upstairs has a slanted ceiling above the sink, so a bit hard to navigate during our stay... Newport was beyond our expectations and this house made our visit even more perfect!

Peter was super helpful and responsive when we had questions. lovely space with great proximity to the beach!

The house was clean, roomy, and everything worked well. The nearby playground and beach on Narrow River were clean and fun for kids. The backyard with numerous shade trees provided a quiet environment. Th neighbors were friendly. The location was close to many places we wanted to visit including beaches, restaurants, and parks.

The location was great 10 steps from Thames St, the back yard was perfect for our dog but also a great place to spread out. The house is beautiful, in great shape and the loft area was a great added room for our kids. Check in was easy, check out was easy, Matthew was very responsive. There was a minor wifi issue (comcasts fault, not his) and he still came over and switched out the modem while we were at dinner on new years eve so everything would work when we got back. Thanks again!

It was a really great place to stay. Nice and spacious. Really comfy feel. I will rebook this again in the future. One thing that the host couldn’t control is tight parking if you have large vehicle.

Brennans place was excellent, truly I don’t think you can find a better location in the city. Super walkable, spectacular view from the roof and if you have a dog plenty of parks and green space around. Marco’s sandwich shop is right beside Brennans place and is a reallly good option for breakfast or lunch. Brennan was super friendly and a great host.

We felt right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel is located in a near-perfect spot, everything walkable and accessible virtually right from the front door. The hosts also sent out texts before closing just to make sure we’d be all set for the night. It was a really great stay, definitely coming back whenever I find myself in Rhode Island again!

We loved staying here! We wanted a nice place to relax but in town and we definitely got our money's worth!! We also loved that we could bring our pup and Trip and Christina not only made us feel great about having a dog in their space, but sent us specific places and things to do in the area with him. They accommodated our early checkin and the place was stocked with anything we could possibly need! Would definitely stay here again

The place was just as pictured! Also (and very important to me), it was so clean. Other reviewers had mentioned this, and it is true. You could tell that care was taken. The kitchen was amazing. Although we didn't cook this trip, we certainly could have. It had everything we needed. Waleed was very responsive before and during our stay, even making recommendations when requested. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was great. The perfect location to just hang out with the kids for the weekend. Everything is in walking distance and walking along high street looking at all the old houses always delights. Charles and Sharolyn could not have been nicer to us. Anyone who wants to explore Bristol/Newport should check out this listing.

Perfect studio for a couple or two friends! It was clean, easy to get to, walkable to all the main Newport restaurants & bars and most of all, DOG FRIENDLY! My friend was able to take her dog to a park near by and the place itself wasn’t too small for a dog. Only thing I’ll add is that if you’re super tall, the shower might be a little tough to fit in but was not an issue for me at 5’6. I’d highly recommend this place! The host was also clear with instructions & very responsive. It made the experience of check in and checkout seamless.

Hamzah's place is right in the middle of College Hill (not even 3mins walk to the centre of campus). Very easy access to the university, shops, and downtown Providence. The apartment is in an above ground basement. It does not feel as though you're in a basement. The description does say that it can accommodate up to four, just know that with four people it's very tight. We had two adults and two teens and at times it was a bit crowded especially when wanting to watch TV or find a space just to hang out for a quiet second. There is only one bathroom. They should not deter you from staying just prepare you for what you are going to experience. His place is very well located and cozy.
