Joan and Eric's home was perfect for our weekend getaway. They are perfect hosts, and the home is great. Fantastic location, every amenity you could want and then some, super clean and cozy. We loved staying here.

Fun for a family weekend of games and cooking. Kitchen has so many quality items/brand name appliances, and even fun party items like an ice cream maker and cupcake cake molds. Sparkling clean! Tons of games/books/movies for the teens! Even a scavenger hunt that is NO JOKE and ends with treats if you can solve it. Good luck!

Bryan was a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. The house was everything we imagined and more. Clean and with plenty of amenities. And the beds were heavenly. Our kids loved the variety of activities at the house, especially the hot tub and large yard for playing football. We hit some of the recommended sites and places Bryan provided us and they did not disappoint. Wanda’s was a favorite and we explored Cannon Beach for the first time. Cute costal town. Would love to come back and enjoy a longer stay.

We had a great stay here. The scenery was spectacular. The deck is a perfect place to read or just sit and watch the waves. If you don’t want to be outside, you can sit in the cozey front room and watch from the large picture windows. The house was clean and comfortable. We love it here! 😊

We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals through the years and this home has made our short list of favorites and is now our first choice in Manzanita. The home has an endearing and welcoming charm about it, tasteful yet whimsical vibe, and is incredibly well-equipped. The hosts were the icing on top. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to being return guests.

From the moment we found this place in our search, we knew it would be great for our family. After arriving, we were very impressed and more happy about our choice. The place was super easy to find, the house was very clean and welcoming with so many extras that superceded our expectations. Christina was super friendly and helpful on every detail. During my family's walk through of the house, we both said out loud to each other that we can't wait to return in the very near future. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything, bikes to enjoy, crab pots to go crabbing, a dog crate for our dogs, dog toys, gear for clamming, outdoor lighted patio with a fire pit, cable and apps on both TV's, family board games and so many more gems we continued to find during our stay. I highly recommend this place to come enjoy what was a fantastic getaway for our family.

Great location for my husband, I and our dogs! They loved the beach and Seaside was super easy to take our puppies with us! Will stay here again!

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. This property is perfectly located right on the beach, just a short walk from the main street where you’ll find all the best spots to eat and hang out. Despite its proximity to the lively area, the property feels private and quiet, offering a peaceful escape just minutes from the vibrant atmosphere. We experienced a brief issue during check-in because the lock code provided wasn’t updated, but the host was very responsive and resolved the issue within 10 minutes of our arrival. They even followed up with a call to ensure everything was fine, which we appreciated. The house and amenities match the description and pictures on the listing. One standout feature is the projector system and surround sound in the living space, which added to the cozy ambiance. However, the technology feels a bit outdated and was sluggish when connecting. Some apps like Netflix crashed. It might need an update for a seamless smart experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for a cozy escape
