Always a great time at Collins Lake Resort! Wonderful place to stay.

This was a great place to host my family. 3 grand daughters, Nanny and at the last minute girl friend. We were a total of 9. The ski closet with boot warms an extra plus. Beds were comfortable. Great kitchen well stocked. Too bad the heated pool was closed. Minutes away from the small ski area at Timberline “Summit”. We had an outstanding time here. At little pricey but still excellent!

my family had to temporarily move out of our home because of a major water line busting. we needed something local quickly and found Kevin's place. I've never experienced better communication from someone that's not right in front of you. he worked with our insurance housing folks and cleared enough time until we know when we can move back in to our home. the house was perfect for us. GREAT location! next to the biggest park in town, views of Mt Hood and extremely quiet. the home was clean and furnished well beyond what is normal. every question I had for Kevin was answered with the hour. Thank God for this place, my family can rest easy knowing we have a great place until we can go home. thanks again Kevin!

Pictures of this place are beautiful, but they definitely don't do it justice! we had a group of 12 stay comfortably for a few days and the only thing I wish I could have changed is the length of time we stayed there because we definitely felt at home, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and we were not ready to go home! Everything was there to enjoy the pool, make s'mores, cook home cooked meals and enjoy a gorgeous view! Thank you for putting so much though into what guests would need and then throwing all the extras in top of that! We will definitely be back, and we'll be sharing your listing with our family so they can come and enjoy your beautiful home as well!

We came to the area for river rafting with extended family and were overall quite satisfied. There was plenty of space, the pool was a hit, and we were treated to an evening lightening storm, which we watched through the big windows. The decor was a mix of high end, out of date, and quirky.

Our group had a GREAT time reconnecting at Britnei's place. The pool, hot tub, and theater rooms were highlights. It was also great to have a playground at the church right next door. We appreciated all the pool towels provided and that the pool had a code on the door for safety. Overall we loved how big the house was and how so many details were thought of to ensure a great stay!

We had a family trip with a child and grandparent and this place was just perfect for everybody. The location is great, not on the main loop but still close to everything. The apartment was perfectly equipped even more than we expected. Very comfortable and highly set up with entertainments. However it was a condo but it provided a mountain house feeling. And additional they have a parking garage that is a bonus over the expectations. Definitely would be our choice at next trip too.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You can feel the love Kevin and Julie poured into this house. Such a perfect spot to relax and make wonderful memories as a family. The home has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable and our kids had a blast swimming in the pool.

We had great time staying in the woods, loved the arrangements. David was super responsive whenever it is needed. Hopefully will visit again.

Very comfortable new construction with a beautiful river view. The road to the house is unpaved and difficult to navigate if you come from one direction but close to the highway from the other. Might have some road noise when it's a busy time of year. Nice amenities for people bringing a dog along.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the river rafting! Cozy cozy home, nice neighbors and cute little town.

Amazing space minutes from Ski Bowl, steps from restaurants and nestled perfectly into the mountain in Government Camp. Pretty cool to be able to see SkiBowls lights from one of the bedrooms and the mountain top from the living room during a clear sunny day... The Hot Tub and Arcade were loved by all. Stay here if you get the chance.

We had an excellent time staying in this house. Very clean, large space, with all needed cooking/cleaning implements. Our kids loved the goats. They were very sad to leave.

Unique upstairs layout was loved by all. Great place to stay. A block away from the local bus/shuttle. Would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at! It was so clean, beautiful and vintage. The grounds were immaculate and the house. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need. Just pack your bag, get a few groceries and enjoy the essence of being HOME!! The location was very convenient to places in Hood River, OR. You will need a car but honestly the home and grounds were so wonderful you wouldn't even need to go anywhere to enjoy yourself. It was very private. The only time we saw someone else - was someone working a little on the landscape. AND there is a beautiful flower/vegetable garden we enjoyed looking at just a ways away in front of the house. I would buy this house, if it was for sale, if I lived on the West Coast. Thank you to the Owner & Caretakers for sharing it with us!! Nancy B.

Very nice would recommend to anyone, five stars

This house offered a great stay. It was very cozy and clean and fit our needs perfectly and the host is very responsive. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances. A couple of quirks to be aware of: there is no microwave if you need one and be careful of the upstairs shower without a curtain or door because water splashes out easily and the shallow basin fills quickly with water. Beyond those, the house was wonderful.

Amazing location! Having the dock was awesome. We rented a pontoon and were able to drive it right up to the dock to load things up. The 4th bedroom was through another room and pretty tiny with bunk beds which had very uncomfortable hard mattresses. Probably fine for kids but not great for an adult. Besides that my only complaint would be to put screens on the windows so bugs wouldn't come in if opened. Possibly add a floating island or butcher block to the kitchen as there's very little counter space to prep food but definitely not a deal breaker. Overall it was very clean and I would definitely come back!

We had a peaceful, restful stay at Stephanie’s place. We were able to watch two beautiful sunsets and a sunrise, walk on little trails, and have great views right from her property. Her place was spotlessly clean, quiet, and private yet very close to hiking and biking trails. We plan to return in the spring when the wildflowers bloom. What a wonderful stay!

My daughters and I have stayed here before, but it has been a couple of years. We were thrilled when it was available for a last minute trip to The Dalles for the weekend. We love the house, the history, the decor and the absolute charm and comfort of this house and the furnishings. We rarely slow down to take a bath, but we enjoyed the beautiful bathroom and clawfoot tub. Bev and Alan are dream hosts. Communicative, respectful, pro-active and truly generous and kind people. Highly recommend for a girls weekend, Mother and Daughter time or a romantic get away. Close to downtown and we enjoyed how easy it was to walk to restaurants, the Neon Museum, the new Farm Market, the Work Shop and so many other fun things. Will hope to stay again.

This is a great place to stay. It is my second time personally and is very clean and has a ton of stuff to make you feel at home

My sister's and I had a lovely weekend in Mosier. We all had a chance to reconnect and rejuvenate. We highly recommend this Airbnb rental to anyone who would like to explore Hood River and the surrounding Columbia gorge. Al and Lisa's place is relaxing with a beautiful view of the Columbia River. Mauntrece and Tom did something amazing here!! We absolutely loved our stay. Everything from the amenities, the view, to the organic soaps and high quality bed sheets was just amazing. They were very responsive and super friendly, gave us some great recommendations, and truly did provide an exceptional experience! 10/10 recommend for anyone in the area. We already can’t wait to come back to the area just to stay here :)

This was our second time at Matt and Paul's. Location is primo. 1 Hour to Portland. 45 minutes to skiing. Within 15 minutes to 2 hours of the greatest outdoor awe inspiring visuals and activities Oregon and Washington have to offer. We even drove to the the pacific coast for a day. The house feels right at home with enough space to spread out and not get in anyone's way. We cooked in most days and nights and enjoyed many meals at the large table. Note: this is an older home restored to perfection, well done! Those traveling with older adults should be aware there are a few steps into the home but once in there is a first floor master with large bathroom. We enjoyed the large yard on sunny days. This is our family's go to when in Hood River. Very responsive hosts! Thank you once again Matt and Paul.
