The perfect landing spot while in town visiting family. My dog loved the fenced yard, dog bed and box of toys. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen and comfortable living space. I opted for this location because it was close to family and hiking trails. There are a few businesses (think conviemce store, coffee shop and a couple of restaurants) which make the location the perfect blend of convenience and rural. I found the bed to be comfy, the water pressure to be good and the rental to be well cleaned. I will definitely be back again!

We came to this listing to relax and for my son and husband to do some fishing. This location did not disappoint! The location is beautiful! The listing is comfortable, tidy and well stocked. The Hosts are very kind, responsive and helpful. My son had the time of his life fishing and kayaking around the lake with my husband. The listing is cozy and comfortable so we loved the convenience of balancing everyone's needs in this spot. My husband and son caught (and released) 16 trout! This is a lovely location and we highly recommend it! We left with lasting positive memories as a family.

Chris's place was amazing. It was so wonderful to come home to such a relaxing space. Thanks for making the longer-term stay so nice. I loved the eclectic mix of decor. It was a great mix of beautiful views, art and a cozy cabin feel. Just loved this stay. Thank you again.

Highly recommend! Lovely, well appointed home with gracious, easy to communicate with host. The house was very clean, quiet and spacious with comfy beds. Bunk beds even worked for grown up kids :) The location is great for snow fun, getting to Mt Hood Meadows easily or going into Hood River. And Parkdale is only 5 minutes away if you're looking for a brewery, grocery, coffee shop, etc. We'll definitely look to stay here again when looking in Parkdale!

We stayed in this amazing home during Christmas. We were greeted with rainbows and had a whiteout day at the end of the trip. The house is big and accommodated our 3 families coming together. It’s a great place to stay.

My sister and I have stayed at Twin Oakes a number of times now and we just really love the gorgeous, peaceful setting. The house is clean and well appointed.

We had a wonderful stay and Michael and Elizabeth’s. Beautiful views, spacious, secluded. They were accommodating and quick with communication. Highly recommend!

5 Stars – Perfect Ski Getaway! We had a fantastic stay at Jim's condo! It was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. The location was incredibly convenient—easy to find and access, with just a short walk to great restaurants and the shuttle that took us up to Mt. Hood for skiing. The condo itself was cozy and well-equipped. We especially loved having a fireplace to warm up after a day on the slopes, a deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air, and a kitchen that made meal prep easy. I would absolutely stay here again and am already thinking about returning in the summer to explore all the warm-weather activities in Government Camp. Highly recommend!

Keeping it short and sweet! Home was much bigger than excepted. Beautiful location. Collins lake resort staff is amazing. Will recommend to everyone!

Thoroughly enjoyed a mother/daughters (plus 2 grandbabies) spring break vacation. Very welcoming clean home with great ambiance. From fun kid toys, games, playpen, highchair, pingpong, hottub/pool and sauna. My kids from young mother to 6 month old baby, thoroughly loved every bit of our stay. Other fun snow activities nearby optional. A cozy year round retreat. We will return! Easy to find. Friendly host!

Great location - close to everything! Clean and comfortable with a nice little balcony to lounge on.

We had a nice stay at this cozy condo. The patio, hot tub, and fireplace were favorite amenities. There were plenty of games for the kids and the kitchen had the essential items needed for preparing meals. There was slight road sound, but otherwise very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed being so close to the skiing areas.

We had a fantastic stay! The condo was spacious, well-appointed, and perfectly located—just a short drive to Mount Hood Meadows. The clubhouse amenities (pool, hot tub, and sauna) were a great bonus for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Looking forward to making this an annual trip. Thanks again!

We would certainly stay here again in the future. The house is absolutely beautiful and we were very comfortable there. The beds are extremely comfortable, the spaces are free of clutter, and the location is quiet but still close to downtown Hood River. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location, easy walking just a minute or two into the heart of downtown government camp. The house was as described and comfortable. We did think that the living area could have perhaps had more seating for the number of people that the home sleeps, but otherwise everything was great! It was nice that there were some extra gaming chairs upstairs in the closet that we were able to bring down and use. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking, some fun games to play, and cozy atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend.

They didn’t allow early check in so that was a bummer, the house was very clean and nice! I would be mindful with kids, we had two littles and the whole upstairs is all balcony and that’s where the tv was located. We never let our kids be unsupervised upstairs because of the balcony so it would have been nice to have a tv located downstairs as well for the times we needed to be downstairs. But overall it was a great space!

We had an incredible stay at Kelly’s cabin. It was way more spacious than we even expected from the pictures which was a nice surprise. It was extremely clean and comfortable. There are a couple flights of stairs (if you’re traveling with a baby or someone elderly) but was totally fine for us. The location is very convenient. It was so nice that snowshoes and hiking poles are provided, though the trails were packed down enough that we didn’t use them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cabin or book another stay here!

This continues to be our favorite place to stay when we head up to government camp. You can’t beat the location and there’s lot of room!

Jeni and Jonathan were wonderful hosts! Easy to communicate with and very responsive. It definitely felt welcoming, cozy, and clean. You can tell they take pride in their rental. Also holy spices! I have never been to a airbnb with such a stocked kitchen! It was wonderful and also made it feel like home away from home.

Excellent location, beautiful and quiet a beautiful view to enjoy while sipping coffee or having a nightcap. Excellent accommodations, aesthetically, pleasing and very, very clean. I loved the shower. It was amazing. We had a wonderful day and look forward to it being our halfway point to stay on times we go visit our family and friends in Wenatchee. Five star rating and Jeremiah was an excellent communicator. Just a wonderful family.
