Julie’s house was lovely. Sadly it was raining the day we were there so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space as much as we wanted to but the indoor space was super cute and well decorated! There were also plenty of movies and board games that we could use inside since it was raining.

I love that they upgraded the kitchen and living room. Everything was exactly as described. Everything was clean. The ONLY complaint we had was we couldn’t figure out how to turn the thermostat up and didn’t hear from them until the next day. That’s more on us though because I could have googled how to use the thermostat instead of assuming it could only be adjusted remotely by them. The location was beautiful with wildlife right outside in the backyard.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Jeffrey’s cottage! Not only was it exactly as pictured and described, it was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. We really felt at home. The scenery is peaceful and serene. Jeffrey was especially responsive and helpful. I appreciated his response time and for all that he shared with us to help make our stay even more enjoyable. We are already planning a return trip in the fall. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Modern and spacious two-bedroom bungalow across the road from an old farm. It's 10 minutes from Shepherdstown downtown, so not far, but not in town or walkable (biking is possible, but I guess tough to do with traffic). Our host gave us appropriate and helpful information and was accommodating for us. I had hoped the location would be a little quieter, and it's by no means noisy, but it is located on a medium traffic rural road without much privacy (though there doesn't seem to be much happening right there anyway). There is a cool fire pit out back and it was pleasant to sit out there and listen to the birds and sip coffee while we contemplated our trips to Shepherdstown, Antietam, and the Yankauer Nature Preserve (just 4 minutes down the road). Thanks for a really nice stay!

I LOVED my stay at Emily and Heather's Cottage! The house was clean, comfortable, and you could tell they put a lot of thought into the amenities offered, including a full coffee/cocoa bar, and many dog friendly items for my pup. This is the first Airbnb I've stayed at where I've truly felt at home. Emily and Heather were quick to respond to messages, and were available to come help with any needs that came up. I'm already looking at my calendar to find another time to return!

Zeb was a great host for our quick getaway to Shepherdstown. We look forward to making future visits back to the cottage.

We had a fantastic visit to the cottage! It was the perfect cozy place to come back to after hiking Maryland Heights Trail in Harper’s Ferry. The location was ideal for us to visit Harper’s Ferry, Antietam National Battlefield, and Berkeley Springs during this long weekend trip! Highly recommend a mineral bath at Old Roman Bathhouse in Berkeley Springs State Park and breakfast at Charlotte’s Cafe in Berkeley Springs!
