This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Everything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute drive and yet we felt like we were out in the country. The goats provided loads of entertainment!! The soap and cheese were wonderful! It was like going to your grandmother's house!!

We had an incredible Christmas at the caboose farm. The place was just right for our family and Colby was more than responsive and helpful. We are so thankful that we had access to the rec center, which was a great overflow place for our large group where we played reindeer games and watched movies and had all the fun. We also have beautiful pictures to keep for years to come of this special memory and beautiful time together with our family. Thank you so much for helping to make our Christmas special!!

We had a great time and the check in process was seamless. Keith was proactive and very responsive.

Our family group of 10 traveled in from five different states to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday together. The space was warm and comfortable and suited our needs, and the surroundings were beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

This is our fifth time staying at the Caboose House. Colby is always great and checks in along the way. We have never had an issue which is great. The character of the house and property is hard to duplicate. Amazing. Thank you for the upgrades to the property. My wife was pleased to see some of the new amenities and the upgraded tv was a nice touch. We look forward to more stays in the future.

Colby's place was very adequate and we enjoyed a lovely family time. Because it was rainy, we were mostly indoors, but there was room for everyone! The beds were very comfortable and we appreciate the opportunity to stay there!

We've been coming to Fox Haven for 10 years; it's become a winter tradition for our family and friends. It's the perfect setting for communal meals and fireside conversations, not to mention plenty of space for kids to run rampant. JoAnn is always helpful, and Randy was great in answering our questions and restocking our firewood (it was freezing this weekend!). We can't wait to come back.

Our host Brent was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We had an issue caused by something we did where we could not get back in the house-Brent responded immediately with a solution and all went well. Brent also took some extra steps-like having a Christmas tree in the house (we stayed there during Christmas) and it really was a wonderful touch that made the space feel like a home. The space suited our needs as we visited family and friends in both Frederick and Hagerstown. The house had plenty of room to feel comfortable and to have our own space when we had 5 adults staying in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Brent's hospitality.

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

This cabin is so beautiful and peaceful - it is more amazing than the photos! Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful, and the cabin was squeaky clean. We enjoyed walking to the marsh right across the street and exploring the beautiful property. The cabin has neighbors nearby but still feels very remote and private. We had a wonderful time!

I will say excellent things about this place. I will say excellent things about this place. Welcome to the schoolhouse, where the decor and environment remind you of days of yore. With a gorgeous views especially out the back and kitchen side, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. We enjoyed an outing of a hike in the PawPaw tunnel, and had some food at Cheryl's Snack Shack. We were seeking a private place with easy access but felt remote, within a couple hours from home. We achieved that goal, and we enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels for the hot tub.

Property is exactly as described in the listing. Views are outstanding and the house itself is nicely laid out. The game room was a wonderful place to hang out, catch up and play games. For those renters that don’t sleep well in many places, I have to say all of the beds were very comfortable! And my grand daughter LOVED her little cabin bed.

Donna was present upon arrival with a warm friendly greeting and was accommodating to our needs. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to hike per our request. The room was very large and clean with a pristine full private bathroom. There was a nice size mini fridge and microwave in the walk-in closet space which was much appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the temperature control was perfect. The peaceful, remote surroundings were just what we needed to relax and yet only 5 mins to town. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Beautiful home exquisitely decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and games. The beds and linens are very comfortable. Towels are plush. Everything looks modern and new. Amazing kitchen to cook in with everything you need. Excellent restaurants, bakeries, hiking, and shopping close by, but far enough away that we heard nothing but silence looking up at the stars.

We had the best weekend at Tom and Walt’s place. The setting is quiet and beautiful. The house has been lovingly restored. Furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely return!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. The second time was just as good as the first. The property is just amazing, so peaceful and relaxing for our extended weekend away. The wrap around porch is wonderful spot to just relax. Such a bonus that we could bring the dogs as well. Was great being able to walk this large property through the many cut paths that wind their way around. Kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook our meals with no issues. The grill was super clean and worked very well. Fire pit was a nice touch and we enjoyed it. The house itself was very clean and we really want things clean. No issues whatsoever. Its a short drive to downtown Berkeley Springs. Communication through booking process to checkin was great. Chris was super, very responsive and there if needed for anything., same as last year. We will definitely be back again!!

My son attends Rubik’s Cube solving competitions all over the country, so we travel often. Our stay at the cottage for a competition in Jefferson County was perhaps our favorite stay. The cottage was quiet and peaceful. Even though it is in a quiet area, it is close to plenty of amentiries. The cottage was very clean and exactly as described. Even though it was a very cold weekend, the cottage was warm and cozy. There were books, games, and plenty of extra blankets. We were relaxed our entire trip. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again!

My stay at Tony’s place was great overall. We experienced a couple issues during the stay, and Tony and his team were prompt in solving the issues and fair in solutions. The house was nice. Everything worked. We had a nice fire at the fire pit and the hot tub was nice as well. All in all I would stay again. 9/10!

Every bit of attention to detail has been paid. The farm is breathtakingly beautiful, calm, and so easy to get to! We went to a local vineyard and ventured into Frederick— all lively drives and less than 20 minute drive. All dishes, cookware, and necessities were amply available. The beds were comfortable, the sheets felt amazing, the towels were soft and the fire pit was an absolute delight. Thank you for such an amazing trip!

Amazing accommodations! Very well kept nearly 300 year old vintage colonial resting on several acres nestled back within the landscape where wild deer feel free to wander the estate just minutes from historical Harpers Ferry, Martinsburg, and other famous landmarks as well as a Vegas style casino (Hollywood). This is a must visit for anyone coming to the area for a short trip or an extended stay!

This place is a true gem. My family of 4 loves to stay here. It was extremely clean and welcoming when we got here. It has lots to offer. Joe is extremely responsive and always ready to help! It is such a peaceful, cozy, beautiful, amazing place to stay! I didn’t want to leave!:)
