This place was just what I was looking for. Quiet place to relax, good place to hike and fitness center and courts. Cabin was just as advertised cozy and well kept. Everything you need for a weekend stay.

Jeffrey & Leisa were very responsive hosts who had excellent local recommendations for food and activities. Their place is perfect for a weekend getaway for a couple, and is well located for those who like to do outdoor activities. Also quite close to several really good restaurants and microbreweries. Their place is well decorated, comfortable and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again - Highly recommend!

Karen and Mark where excellent host! They had great communication and clear directions. The space itself was peaceful, thoughtful, the bed was comfortable and it was clean. We had a restful stay and left feeling refreshed. The location was absolutely stunning with the fall leafs. A delightful highlight was the neighbor donkeys who were friendly and very sweet!!

It was a great cabin stay for getting away with the significant other on Valentine’s Day!!

This was the second time we stayed in Gillian’s property. We very rarely end up staying somewhere twice. It’s lovely, clean, and peaceful. Gillian is very communicative. I imagine we’ll return for a third stay soon!

My boyfriend and I booked Jeff's place at the Cedar to have a weekend get away to celebrate our 30th birthdays. Jeff's place exceeded all expectations. All weekend we kept saying "this is perfect!" Not only is the view absolutely stellar, Jeff has thought out every single detail and anticipated all your needs (def look at the book provided of local recommendations!) They also had a record player (and numerous records to chose from) which really enhanced the vibes. The bathroom was very close, and for a weekend we didn't mind the walk. Also, despite the other rentals on the property (and communal areas to hang out) it's clear they were very intentional in the layout. Each rental has their own secluded/private spot to enjoy the views. We did have really high winds ( near constant 15-50mph) during our stay so it was loud in the airbnb w/the canvas walls/roof. But they provided a noise machine and earbuds!! I wore my AirPods the 2nd night and had no issues sleeping. Can't wait to go back!

The place is in a very good location, near many restaurants and grocery stores. The place is so clean however the bathroom is outside which was kinda annoying when it was snowing. And the bathroom isn’t the best since it’s basically just a hole

As another review has said, this cottage is even better in person and a lot less rudimentary than a cabin in the woods may first appear. Tara provided clear instructions to the cottage and was very responsive (e.g. we asked for drinking water to be filled up and was done right away). The cabin itself was very cute and inviting - we loved having breakfast on the porch in the morning sun. Really easy to get to Harper's Ferry but also nice to be out of the hustle and bustle. We would love to stay again.

Steve’s place was perfect for us. It was quiet and very peaceful. The tiny house is so cute and very clean. We also really enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing outside with our dogs. We will be back!

Wonderful, unique cabin. Very cozy, remote, and charming. It was exactly what we needed after a busy holiday season. The wood stove, sauna and hot tub make this a perfect winter getaway. Kitchen was well stocked, the house had everything we needed. We would love to come back and couldn’t stop wishing we owned the place! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!!!

We had a great time. Clean, quiet, sterno provided for the fire was great. Comfy, cozy. We played yatzee(one of the games provided). Parking was sufficient but a bit treacherous,(more weather related). Close to a few small towns and amenities. Joseph was a great host! Very responsive and helpful when needed! I would definitely stay here again

This is the perfect get away. We booked the cabin for two nights, and ended up staying another night because we did not want to leave! It was beautiful, peaceful, cabin was super clean, and staff are really friendly. Our dog had an amazing time, also. It is also a great place for hiking and the pool is awesome!! 100% recommended. We will be back!!!
