We had a great stay. The restaurant below is affordable, friendly and delicious. They are open late for dinner and early for coffee. It was honestly the best place that we ate in Harper’s Ferry. The Barn is also great and shares the parking lot. We took our kids in with us and enjoyed the local music and great drinks The space was comfortable! We read a few reviews about the beds being uncomfortable and being woken up by the noise from the cafe downstairs. We found neither of those claims to be true. The futon is a little small so if you plan on having two kids sleep on it I would bring a blowup mattress We had a great stay and will be back!

SUCH a cute place! Super clean inside and out! The hot tub was perfect and ready to go when I got there. It's also an easy commute to Winchester and farmers markets. Perfect for a girls night or a couples get away.

The cabin looked exactly as described. I liked the openness of the great room. We had some trouble getting the fireplace to stay on but the evolve agents were incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly. Better than most airbnb hosts. We were doing a lot of exploring and hiking in the area and it was at least a 20 minute drive to everything we did. I think this location is ideal if you plan to stay at the cabin most of the time and relax and enjoy the river. The closest grocery store is easily 20 minutes away so plan. But, these comments are not meant in a negative way. I live in a rural area so I am used to driving a distance to conveniences. The cabin is great. It was too cold for us to use the deck or screened in porch but the furniture looked to be in very good condition and was clean. Very nicely laid out, clean, and peaceful. I do recommend it.

Susan was helpful and communicative even before our trip! She gave clear instructions, and added sweet and personal touches to make our stay more comfortable. She was easy to reach and quickly responded to all questions. As far as the house, it doesn’t get any more perfect than Susan’s beautiful cabin. It was cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed the wood burning stove on chilly evenings. The kids enjoyed climbing and hiking the rocks on the property. There was something for everyone here! We will certainly be back!

5-star all the way! Our family of 4 from N. VA loved our stay. The house and property exceeded our expectations. The house was super comfortable, clean, well decorated and had all of the amenities we needed. The nook on the main level was great for relaxing to read a book, check out the scenery and for movie night. The pickleball/basketball/tennis court was a hit and we enjoyed the golf tee off of the hillside. Brandon was easy to work with and responded to our questions within a few minutes. We hope to visit again soon.

Jim was a terrific host! Moss Hill is a lovely retreat - beautiful scenery and lots of quiet. It's only about 15 minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs, so there are lots of activities and restaurants nearby, but the cabin is just far enough away to enjoy some true peace. The cabin is exactly as advertised, and Jim thoughtfully provided extra amenities (toiletries, nonperishable kitchen items, etc.) to make my stay even better. He communicated all instructions (check in, check out) clearly, and provided a helpful list of local events/places to visit. The cabin was very clean. I certainly hope to make another trip to Moss Hill.
