Very cool place and was great that it allowed a 1 night stay during busy RoundTop season. We were a last minute booking and I do not think realized it was a shared bathroom and basically an upscale glamping/ranchhand stay. Worked out great for an all girls event with mom's and teens. we are horse lovers, barn kitty lovers, etc.... We did not experience the rest in terms of the pool and other things offered at the ranch, but it seems like a great upscale ranch/farm experience.

Amazing place to get away from the city. beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing. Lucy the host was amazing and very responsive to my messages. Highly recommend this place if you love being out in the country.

This is my second stay here. The first was for a girls weekend and I KNEW I had to bring my kids ages 18, 14, 9 back for some quiet family time. Cozy cottages and my kids LOVED the horseback riding and interacting with animals. I loved the quiet and easy setting for walks and playing games. It was really cold but didn’t stop us at from enjoying our time there. Downtown Brenham has cute shops and eateries we enjoyed too. Darrell gets all the stars for going above and beyond in his hosting. Exceptional! Will most definitely be back.

We booked this cabin for a 3-day getaway for our anniversary and it was perfect! Very quiet and peaceful - feels like the middle of nowhere, but only 10 mins to Hempstead (Walmart & the great new Citizen's restaurant) and easy drive over to Brenham. Some of the amenities are not visible in the photos: - The blackout shades were wonderful! - Rocking chairs and ceiling fan on the screened in front porch. - Charcoal grill in front of the cabin, charcoal & grill tools on the porch. - Small microwave - Mini fridge w/ freezer compartment - Coffee service is currently electric water kettle & French press; ground coffee provided for ~3 pots. The Saturday the Agrotourism day we were there was very lightly attended, so we were blessed to spend a lot of time with Cath as she gave us a very thorough tour of the farm and buildings and she gave us a wealth of things to think through as we prepare to develop our plot of land. It was a wonderful weekend and we will absolutely come back again!

We had 8 ladies and there wasn’t a single complaint. It was so comfortable and welcoming. I am an interior designer and real estate stager and this house is not a staged one like many Airbnb’s. It’s a well loved home with very personal touches everywhere which was so refreshing. It’s cozy but not small. We had the best experience here; Comfortable beds with awesome linens and well appointed kitchen and the porches!!! The views and peaceful atmosphere is just priceless. We really loved it. Thank you Joan and Chris for sharing your wonderful home.

This place was so beautiful, me and my boyfriend just wanted a couple days away from the city and this was perfect. The farm dogs came to greet us, the signs pointing to the cabin were very helpful, it had basically everything that we would need, a grill, a microwave, a kitchenette, it was perfect. The AC worked really well. The outdoor shower was nice andgot pretty warm overall this place was super perfect and we totally plan on returning.

Lisa was so sweet and very responsive even though she was traveling. She was very flexible and took care of us to make sure our stay was comfortable. The house and surrounding areas were picturesque. The pool was clean and chic. I would highly recommend Lisa A’s place.

This Barndominum was amazing. Perfect for a weekend stay. This place is very homey and it was in an amazing location. We needed a place to stay while visiting family in College Station the weekend of the big game. Diane is amazing host and even provided homemade bread. The only thing was the bed was a little too hard for my back but I am used to a temperpedic bed. Definitely would stay again!

We had a lovely, peaceful, and relaxing stay! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the pool and the yard games, the fresh garden, and of course the chickens! We even were able to have farm fresh eggs one morning and waffles with all the fixings the next. The house is on a shared property with with the hosts who are extremely responsive and friendly. It’s a short drive to downtown. We would love to come back one day and hope that day is very soon! Thanks for a great stay!

Darling, and well located to everything! Poppy house was perfect for our first trip to Round Top. The house was so well appointed and clean. Can’t wait to come back! 😍

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Getting away from busy Austin city life was marvelous. The back yard was really comfortable, especially to have the dog run free. We loved the quiet, hanging out on the hammock, bird watching, and spinning records. We also loved eating Shirt Tail Creek eggs and chicken from right there on the farm. The bathroom needs attention, though. The shower door is off alignment, or maybe altogether broken. The bathroom door does not latch closed or lock. Also, the bedroom door (the one with bunk beds) doesn’t open without tons of force and noise. These are minor issues compared to our overall experience. My husband left his medicine and a waterbottle case, and realized it after going into town. Sam got right back to us and was kind enough to have the cleaners locate it and leave it. We were able to pick it up after visiting town. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Lucille’s place was just a advertised, beautiful, comfortable home in an idealic setting. In the front green pasture we saw cows grazing among the bluebonnets. The home is furnished tastefully, and we had everything we needed for our stay. I’m highly recommend Lucille’s place for a sisters getaway!

Had a great stay. Beds and seating were comfortable, plenty of towels, washcloths, and blankets were provided. Sunny provided great directions so it was easy to find the place even for the couple of us that showed up when it was pitch black out. Was also very responsive every time we had a question, and very accommodating to our last minute booking for an impulse trip. Location is also really nice, feels very remote even though it's only 15 minutes or less to the grocery store and plenty of restaurants in Brenham.

Our stay was warm and welcoming. The house is absolutely stunning and homey. Was a great rate for our large family. The host was very helpful and responsive. We loved staying and will be back!

This is a charming spot with beautiful surroundings. Kitchen is gorgeous and fully stocked, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

This place was perfect for our groomsmen to stay. There was so much room for activity and they loved the acreage. They purchased remote control airplanes and has a blast flying them around here. Thank you so much.

We stayed at Amanda's house for 6 days so our family could attend the Round Top Antiques Fair. The house was perfect for our needs...roomy, comfortable and very clean. We were close to Downtown Brenham (15 min.) Antique Rose Emporium and Old Baylor. Round top is an easy 30 min. drive. Amanda was very helpful and gave us information about Round Top and even left us a Guide. Our family is planning a return visit to RT and Amanda's place will be at the top of our list.❤️

This is a wonderful oasis in the woods. Quiet, serene, and away from the tempo of the city. This is a wonderful place if you need some time alone or with a partner. Great for stargazing. I definitely want to return and use the hot tub. Everything is like in the photos, the hosts were responsive and clear with instructions.

Oh my…..what a wonderful place in the country! Just a few miles, though, to Round Top, Burton, Carmine, etc. We loved just hanging out on the back porch or front porch and watching the cows in the pasture! The beds were incredibly comfortable—that’s a big deal since we are 60+ years old and have comfort issues. Felt like sleeping on a cloud…better than my own at home! The place was well stocked with everything we needed…especially the kitchen! We don’t cook but someone who does is well supplied. I loved that the furnishings were up to date and nice and fresh. Really the only problem we had was not getting to stay longer! Marie is a super host and easy to work with. We’ll be back!

Kristina was very accommodating with our last minute check in due to recent power outages. We easily found the place and enjoyed walking around the grounds. The hammocks look like the perfect place for a relaxing nap. We saw a few cardinals near the creek and lots of beautiful plants everywhere. The AC worked perfectly and the mini fridges fit quite a lot. The beds were comfy and they have plenty of amenities along with appliances in the shared kitchen in addition to various items in the kitchenettes. We're already looking forward to another stay as we really like the location since it's close to Round Top, Brenham/Chappell Hill area and Saddlehorn Winery.

We had the best time, house is perfect for a girls trip or a family! House was super cute and comfy.

This property was absolutely beautiful and was everything my kids hoped it would be with plenty to do to keep our teen birthday guests busy while mom got to relax in a fabulous and peaceful setting. Will definitely be back!
