Johnnycake Flats Inn was the perfect New England getaway! Debra and her husband Jim are wonderful people and the best hosts. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast that kept us fueled for the day. Jim is great at offering up places to visit and mapping everything out for easy navigating. If you are looking for a peaceful, homey place to stay, with fantastic hosts, look no further!

We loved our stay at Mountain Meadow BnB. Walter was friendly, responsive, shared good recommendations, and accommodated breakfast allergies. We liked the opportunity to talk with other guests during breakfast and Walter was easily accessible throughout our stay. Good location within close distance of several cute towns and hiking spots. It was great to have the bnb host on site and available!

We shared a very special weekend with Kim and Phil to view the total solar eclipse. They were friendly and accommodating hosts from booking through our stay. The Inn is super clean and comfortable. Every need was met for the entire weekend - warm welcome; clean room and bathroom, common area with TV, games, mini-fridge and Keurig; lovely outdoor seating area; and those wonderful breakfasts! Above and beyond. Stowe is a lovely town with coffee shops, restaurants, craft beer, wine and cheese and a walking trail. We enjoyed hanging out at the Inn so much, we didn't venture out much! Thank you so much Kim and Phil!

We had a great experience with Kim & Phil! The location made it easy to get around- there’s a bus right outside taking us to the mountain. Kim & Phil are warm hosts and Phil even cooked us breakfast every day and helped shovel our car out during a snow storm! Highly recommend staying here!

Phil & Kim were extremely welcoming. Check in was a very easy process, I walked right in and Phil showed me around the property. Phil & Kim cooked and served a delicious breakfast which was a fantastic way to start off our day. We then walked to downtown Stowe which was an easy route from the property. We came & went as we pleased comfortably throughout the day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Debra and her husband Jim are wonderfully friendly hosts. Breakfast was exceptionally tasty and just the right thing to start a day of snowboarding. Staying at johnnycake flats is like getting a warm hug. Everything about our stay was terrific. Just what we needed.

We loved everything about this place. The setting with beautiful view. House was so cool and interesting filled with thousands of conversation pieces. Room was excellent and clean. Trails along the granite quarry were really cool. The continental breakfast was amazing and we got to meet the other guests who were great. We have traveled the world, and this little side trip to Barre was one of our most memorable experiences. If you want to experience Vermont, this is Vermont. Go to the Granite Museum in town and the cemetery.

This was such a special find! Walter was an amazing host and cook. The place was in a great location for traveling around the Stowe area, and had a great view! We’d definitely stay here again!

Mick and Karen were amazing hosts! Our stay was so comfortable - the rooms and common areas were so clean and inviting. The weather was colder when we visited, so we were able to enjoy a fire on the back porch and chat with other visitors. Such a nice touch! The location was great, very close to Sugarbush and not far from surrounding mountains. The food beyond exceeded our expectations, such amazing variety and ingredients (locally sourced), the most gourmet breakfasts I have ever had. Karen was very thorough in accommodating one person in our group with food allergies. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Amazing experience and an amazing place located just down the road from the ski resort. We will come back for sure. We felt right at home and made some friends at the same time.

Do yourself a favor and stay with Mick and Karen. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, friendly hosts—you leave their inn feeling like you made 2 new friends. :) We plan to return next time we find ourselves in the Mad River Valley.

Amazing location, 10 drive to any restaurant or place we needed to go to. Went to Stowe mainly to snowboard and it was only a 10 minute drive to the Stowe Resort where we were going. The place was cozy, with a fire lit at night, making it feel like a movie. The breakfast was 10/10, I would book here again just for that alone. One evening there were even fresh chocolate chip cookies available. Definitely book here, you won’t find a better deal!

Great stay at the Timberholm. We stayed for one night and it was great - close to Stowe Mt and really close to a number of restaurants and bars in the area. It was very comfortable, matched the descriptions and breakfast was very good as others have stated. We would gladly return.

I loved my stay at this cozy little Inn! I stayed in the King suite and it was very spacious and my goodness the bed was SO COMFORTABLE. (A friend of mine stayed in the smaller rooms on the first floor and they were very, VERY small, fwiw.) The bathroom was also very big and clean. The Innkeeper was so sweet and offered to make my group waffles in the morning if we wanted them. We played so many fun games in the cozy lobby area by the fireplace and headed down into the basement to watch the New Year’s Eve ball drop on the TV down there. There’s tons of restaurants nearby and fun activities like skiing, ice skating, and maple syrup tasting at the Nebraska Knoll Sugarhouse; the Inn is also about a 45 min drive to Burlington! The only downside was that the walls were very thin and you can hear your neighbors, but everyone in the building was extremely mindful of that, so we had no issues with noise while going to sleep. I highly recommend staying here.

The pancakes and the Vermont Maple syrup was 10 out of 10. I Loved my stay and would highly recommend.

Caryn was wonderful and her home is stunning. I stayed in the tower room and I loved it. Caryn was very friendly and inviting and extremely easy to talk to. She loves what she does and it shows in her home. Her breakfast is beautiful and features only local or home grown goods. The bread she makes is amazing. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

We were welcomed by our charming host. Kimmie is fun to talk to. The old house has a lot of charm in a lovely neighborhood. We took many walks to enjoy the town. Loved the cheese and bacon puffs for breakfast. Thanks, Kimmie
