Nilmini was so helpful, attentive and accomodating! We also really appreciated her attention to details, like bottled water in the fridge, fresh soap, towels and linens, and toilet paper. The caretaker Jagath was also very attentive and gave us lots of space.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille, nous étions 10 adultes avec deux bébés et tout ce monde a trouvé une place confortable dans la maison. Ceci a été grandement rendu possible par le staff que nous remercions vivement, Duli et Milan ont été aux petits soins pour nous et pour nos bébés, ils ont été efficaces, pro-actifs, souriants, discrets et nous ont cuisiné d'excellents repas. Sharmini, notre hotesse, était également présente par téléphone, elle s'assurait que tout allait bien et nous a offert un delicieux diner préparé par le staff. Merci Merci Merci !!!! La maison est bien aménagée, les 5 chambres ont chacune sa salle de bains, la piscine est propre et ombragée une partie de la journée, ce qui est bien agréable, et au bout du jardin il y a la plage... Un centre de plongée est à 30 m, ce qui nous a permis de prendre des cours et de passer le padi très facilement. Sinon, il y a des tuk tuk dans la rue en sortant de la maison, pour aller à Hikkudawa ou Galle.

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

Excellent sejour dans une maison tres spacieuse sur la plage. La tres grande piscine avec vue sur mer sous les cocotiers a ete tres appréciée. Les petits dejeuners copieux et tres savoureux sont pris sur la grande terrasse abritée avec sur une mer bleu turquoise. La ville est a 5 minutes en tuk tuk ou on trouve de tres bons petits restaurants servant une cuisine typiquement Sri Lankaise. Nous avons tres apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes qui ont été particulierement reactifs pour repondre a nos questions et faciliter nos déplacements pour les activites locales. Nous gardons un bon souvenir des moments de convivialite passés a discuter tous ensembles.

We made a last-minute booking, but everything was very well organized. Podi communicated excellently and provided a clear and detailed description of the place upon our arrival. We especially loved the kitchen and its well-equipped setup, and we truly enjoyed the space as if it were our own home. Highly recommended for long stays and groups!

We had an exceptional stay at Yohann's villa in Wadduwa. Yohann responds quickly and proactively, and was flexible when I had to make changes to the booking. The beach villa is tastefully decorated, inviting and comfortable. It is one of the few airbnb places where the living and dinning areas are also air-conditioned in addition to the bedrooms. We were in Sri Lanka for a family gathering and we couldn't have found a better place to spend the time together. The open verandah next to the pool is huge with multiple sitting areas and day beds. The sea breeze and the ceiling fans keep the verandah free of small bugs and mosquitoes which is a nuisance in many outdoor areas in Sri Lanka. The verandah remains cool day and night, and we hung out there for hours. The caretaker and cook, Gamini does an excellent job attending to any needs while at the villa in addition to cooking good meals. We look forward to going back the next time we are in Sri Lanka.

Our stay at Villa 171 in Aluthgama was nothing short of amazing. The property is a lovely retreat with all the amenities you could wish for and impeccably maintained. What truly made our visit unforgettable, however, was the warmth and generosity of our hosts. Shashika was not only incredibly helpful but also inspired us with his fascinating travel stories. Even more special was his brother, Babi—a genuine gem. From lending us a scooty and guiding us through mangrove trips and snorkeling adventures to assisting us in picking out thoughtful gifts for our families, Babi went above and beyond, making us feel like part of the family. We left Sri Lanka with hearts full of gratitude and fond memories, and we’re already planning our next visit just to reconnect with these wonderful hosts and experience the magic of Villa 171 again. Back in India, we miss you both dearly—please come visit us, and let us have the honor of hosting you next time!
