Highly recommend staying at Declan's if you get the chance! The property is a lovely clean spacious house close to a beautiful beach and a short drive to all the amenities you could want, as well as lots of places to visit and things to do in the south east of Ireland. The fireplace in the living area is a real focal point of the property, and makes the space so cosy. We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: we had all the pots and pans needed to cook as if we were at home. Declan himself is a fantastic host - super responsive, friendly and helpful. Everything was so easy and it was a joy to stay there. Thank you, Declan!

We had a lovely weekend at The Orchard. The house was spotlessly clean, really cosy and had lots of farmhouse charm. We were a group of 5, the house has plenty of space to eat & relax and the views from the sunroom were beautiful. We had a lovely meal in Mickey Finns pub - only 5 mins drive away and also took a trip into Arklow and did the Cliff Walk - stunning views. Overall a fabulous stay, Dale was great to deal with, very quick to respond and would definitely recommend a stay at The Orchard!

We were working in the area and Ricky's place was perfect, the guys felt right at home. Ricky was very responsive if we had a question and accommodation was just as described. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thanks for being a great host Ricky. Regards Michelle

We booked Miriam's place for a wedding in Aherlow House Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! Our bridesmaids stayed in the house and my wife got ready for our wedding there! The views were beautiful and Miriam allowed us to check in early so that my wife would have plenty of time to get ready. it made our day so much less stressful! thank you so much!

We were a group of 8 staying at the Coach House for an annual get-together and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The surroundings are very picturesque and peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely walk to the village and at Woodstock House & Arboretum. The house itself is fantastic with a large well equipped kitchen for our meals and a very warm spacious living room to chill out in. Daniel was most welcoming and helpful. I'd recommend the Coach House to anyone looking for a private, comfortable, scenic holiday home in the South-East!

A Little Piece of Heaven by the Sea We just returned from the most incredible stay at this stunning beachfront house, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. The views of the sea are simply breathtaking—waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sea from the deck was pure magic. Inside, the house is just as impressive. Beautifully designed with all the modern comforts you could ask for, from a fully equipped kitchen to plush, cozy furnishings that made it feel like home (only better!). Every detail has been thought through, making it the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. It truly was a little piece of heaven, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, picture-perfect escape by the ocean, this is the place. Sean was also extremely helpful and friendly and available if you needed him. He went through everything with us. Clodagh your house is AMAZING.

We had a great stay at Mary and Jim's place for 10 days. The apartment was clean, well kept and modern. Really enjoyed how peaceful and quiet it is there. Highly recommend for people looking to get away from all the city noise and enjoy a bit of "me-time".

We were staying in this house 4th times and every time we are happy to come back. In the apartment everything as on the photos, always cleaned, beautiful view to the mountains, the owner doesn’t disturb you. You could relax and enjoy your trip. Thanks, Carolina

L’appartement est beaucoup plus grand que ce que l’on peu imaginer avevec les photos. De plus il y a un grand jardin disponible. Breda et Joe sont très accueillants malgré le problème de notre méconnaissance de l’anglais. Les coordonnées GPS nous ont grandement servi pour arriver sur place, plus que la description. Le prix est très correct. c’est dans les plus bas de toute la région. Il est vrai que pour rejoindre une ville, il y a quelques km à faire. Pour les géocacheurs, c’est un bon départ pour la GC43 si vous avez un ou deux jours devant vous .

Marilyn's place was truly magical even if only for a night...we wish we could have stayed longer. As a guest on their homestead, we were greeted by a friendly dog and lovable horses as we made our way inside. Every detail and amenity was worked out, including a warm fire in the wood burning stove, all sorts of amenities like adapters, washclothes, and heated water bottles...they had everything you would need to feel right at home and we got a chance to really relax in the space! Would come back in a heartbeat and only 10 mins from the city!

Our family of four was very happy with our stay at Geoff and Therese’s apartment. The sleeping spaces were comfortable, and though the kitchenette and bathroom were small, they had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The yard area was also appreciated- we ate several meals outside at the picnic table. The hosts were highly responsive and thoughtfully had food items waiting for us when we arrived. Overall a great stay and location! Thank you

Salina was kind and very helpful to recommend places to visit, affordable tips and advice. She suggested we visit Cobh, and we are so glad she did!!

This is the best air bnb I’ve stayed in so far! Paul and Fiona are kind, generous, and friendly. The kitchen is well stocked for breakfast and had beautiful fresh tulips. Paul ran through how everything works and kindly offered space to store my bicycle at night. I would definitely rent again if I’m lucky enough to visit this area again.

Great spot about 10 minutes outside of cobh! The space is small, but very well organized to feel more spacious than it is. Well supplied kitchen, but the oven did take a bit to cook items (could have been user error). The hosts were so friendly and had travel infant items available. Would stay again!

Unusual location in semi wooded raised slightly away and above the owners home, can't see from the airbnb. Outside seating to two sides, plenty of space inside, well appointed and warm, we didn't need the wood burner. Very relaxing stay. Met both hosts and their lovely dog, very welcoming and helpful. Great allocated parking space, would highly recommend this home from home.

We had a nice stay in Marianne's house I cannot fault the accommodation. It was a lovely apartment with beautiful furnishings. The house is well equiped and wouldnt want for anything for your stay. Marianne was lovely to deal with and responsive. We were very unfortunate that a corporate group booked out the entire hotel and facilities so we could not get any food or drink on site during a large portion of our stay. Marianne does to be fair warn about times where it could be members only but I didnt realise all areas could be booked for exclusive use. I went to use the swimming pool on the last evening with my son and we were really disappointed that it was €50 for a family day pass to go for a swim. I understand a fee but find it hard to justify a price that high. There are lovely walks and grounds to enjoy while staying there. My son enjoyed the playground and exploring the grounds.

We had a great time staying at Sharon’s. It was only a short trip but the house had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. The views were great and we loved waking up to see the cows next door! Thanks for the trip 🙏

Loved our stay here. Deborah was very friendly and introduced us to the animals, but was clear that even the very friendly dogs and inquisitive cats were not allowed inside the accommodation. The rental is separate from the main house, so very easy to come and go as we pleased. Everything about the place was clean and functional (plenty of hot water in sinks and shower). Location is a frw minutes from Kilmore Quay and the fantastic Mary Barry's pub/restaurant. About 45 minutes to Hook head where we also spent a day. We really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it.

Der Aufenthalt bei Elaine war wirklich wahnsinnig schön. Der Strand ist gleich in der Nähe und sie hat uns Empfehlungen für Pubs gegeben. Wir haben uns dort absolut wohl gefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen! Es war ruhig und wunderschön 😊 Auch Elaine ist eine absolut wunderbare Gastgeberin, sie hat sich stets erkundigt und nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das Frühstück war super. Wir würden jederzeit wieder zu ihr kommen, was wir auch tun, wenn wir wieder in Irland sind. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung 10/10 ⭐️

It is a lovely place….beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Margaret was there when we arrived snd couldn’t have been more welcoming. The kitchen area was well equipped as a “feed yourself” place…which made for a nice morning vibe. I would stay there again …perhaps next for a longer stay. It was grand!! Thanks

We stayed here with our 1 year old baby. Alan was extremely accommodating and provided a travel cot & high chair. Really liked the chickens, goat and cat he has aswell as the slide for our daughter. The apartment was spotless and had fresh eggs, bread, milk and orange juice provided. Really enjoyed the stay here would highly recommend

such a lovely couple. very welcoming and friendly. as it was our honeymoon they left us a card and bottle of wine and an Easter egg for our son. we felt very relaxed and cosy staying at Paddy and Anne's apartment. thank you both xx
