This is lovely family home in lovely Dutch country village, Broek in Waterland, just a short drive or bus connection from Amsterdam. The house was under partial renovation (which the owners warned me for) when I was there for ten days this summer, but the fully-equipped kitchen, the spacious living room, and the amazing view from the garden on water and fields really made the stay very enjoyable. My friends loved the art, the books and general vibe of the house. Maartje and Maarten were excellent and very relaxed hosts who showed me around the house before they left on vacation. Oh and private parking is also a plus. Highly recommended.

Great experience at Germaine’s house. The house is beautiful, well-maintained, spacious, and very clean — everything was perfect! Not to mention that it’s only 30 minutes from Amsterdam by public transport, with also very convenient night buses. It was super practical. We really had a great time, thank you again for everything. I highly recommend it !

This place exceeded our expectations - it had everything & more. The most thoughtful touches, luxurious amenities, craftsmanship, and peaceful surroundings. The location was only about 15 minutes from the city with very accessible public transportation. Two of the local restaurants within half a mile walking distance were superb and welcoming. Karel & Pamela were quick to help and extremely attentive. We appreciate their attention to detail and the quaint escape their home provides. We would love to be back in the future! A must stay in the Amsterdam area.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico in questo appartamento ad Amsterdam con la mia ragazza e un’altra coppia di amici. L’ appartamento è spazioso, moderno e ben arredato, con tutto il necessario per sentirci come a casa. La cucina è completamente attrezzata, ideale per preparare qualche pasto o una colazione prima di uscire a esplorare la città. Jan e Katharina sono stati degli host molto disponibili. In generale, l’esperienza è stata estremamente positiva e consiglio vivamente questa sistemazione a chi cerca un posto comodo e ben posizionato per visitare Amsterdam.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit dem Bus ist man schnell im Zentrum. Mein Highlight war der Ofen im Wohnzimmer :)

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Broek in Waterland. Super accueil de Sjoerd très réactif, chaleureux et instructions très claires. Logement très bien situé à 5 minutes de la station de bus qui dessert le centre d'Amsterdam. Maison très propre et très charmante qui coche toutes les cases pour se ressourcer : située dans un village plein de charme, à proximité de la nature tout comme du centre Amsterdam. Je recommande vivement et nous aurions beaucoup de plaisir à y retourner. Un gros coup de cœur pour les villages du Waterland 😍

We absolutely loved staying here! It was such a unique and fun stay in the heart of a wonderful little town. The beds were very comfortable and cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. My daughter was enthralled by the gnome house :) We hope to be able to stay here again in the future- highly recommend this Air BnB!

Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit in Volendam. Die Vermieter waren nett und entgegenkommend , die Wohnung wie beschrieben, die Lage perfekt.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und liegt in einem wunderschönen Wohnort, direkt am Wasser. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und bei offenen Fragen, schnell erreichbar! Mit dem Bus ist man in ca. 25 Minuten in Amsterdam. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Zu zweit hatten wir hier eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Der Check-in war sehr einfach. Mit dem Auto ist es perfekt zu erreichen. Zum Bus sind es 15 Minuten. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich, für Tierliebhaber genau das Richtige. Eine Bootstour in der Nähe können wir wärmstens empfehlen! Das Haus ist direkt eben einem Kuhstall gelegen. Für Privatsphäre ist mit Rollos und Vorhängen sehr gut gesorgt. Es war sehr sauber und in Küche und Bad waren die wichtigsten Dinge vorhanden. Auch als große Personen konnten wir beide gut in dem Bett schlafen. Es war nachts vielleicht etwas sehr warm, da oben kein Fenster ist. Das Sofa ist für zwei Personen ausreichend, könnte aber etwas gemütlicher sein. Die Kommunikation war sehr schnell und freundlich. Nils und Vera haben wirklich einen schönen Ort für Gäste geschaffen, die ein paar Tage in einer sehr schönen Gegend verbringen wollen. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter!

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, verfügt über alles notwendige. Die Lage direkt an Wasser ist sehr schön, zu Fuß kann man den hübschen Ort mit netten Restaurants erkunden, mit dem Bus kommt man zügig etwa alle 15 min nach Amsterdam. Auch Radtouren über Volendam, Edam und Marken sind absolut empfehlenswert. Jorge und Peter leben im Haus und waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tout était parfait, le logement est super et très bien placé.

Wij hebben genoten van ons weekendje in het appartement van Vivian. Een mooi en schoon appartement, gelegen in het centrum van Volendam, met o.a. winkels, restaurants en cafés op loopafstand. Een pluspunt zijn de fietsen waarvan je gratis gebruik mag maken. Auto parkeren kan met een blauw schijf voor korte duur in de straat van het appartement. Op +- 12 min lopen kun je de auto gratis parkeren. Kortom, een prettig verblijf en zeker een aanrader!

Ilpendam is lovely, with cobbled streets, beautiful houses, surrounded by nature. People are friendly and very helpful. Its a traditional town, full of young people but15 min from the center of Amsterdam. Spent one month working in Amsterdam commuting from Ilpendam and it was great. The house is lovely but what makes the difference is Kelly, she welcomed me, my family and friends when they visited and just made everyone feel so welcome. It is also great to cycle to surrounding beautiful towns like Monnickendam and Broek. It was a fantastic month, thank you, thank you, thank you. Please call when you visit Lisbon! It will be my time to show you around.

Thank you Degi! We had such a great visit and Degi's place was great for visiting Amsterdam. Having the bedrooms on different floors was nice for our group, too. Spacious, a wonderful kitchen, and the roof terrace was a wonderful option for relaxing there.

I cannot recommend Markus and her rental enough. We were 4 adults including my 84 year old mom and the place worked so well for us. Fantastic neighborhood with restaurants and shops very close; best of all 5 minute walk to Vondelpark for a stroll, a beer or coffee and a respite from the crazy hustle of Amsterdam. Peaceful and well appointed home that was free of clutter. I only realized this was a family home when Markus told me. Separate places to get space. Downstairs bed for my mom (no stairs). I will recommend to friends and family!

Antonys place and treatment made me remember the early years of Airbnb in the best of the ways. He was super attentive, the place was great and he really made some accommodations for some specific asks. I hope to return one day, and for everyone looking for a place in Amsterdam don’t look further than his place.

Estremamente soddisfatti dell’esperienza con l’host Adam, sempre gentile e disponibile. Appartamento e location ottimi, con tutti i servizi necessari a pochi passi dal centro, dai musei e attrazioni varie della città. Super consigliato, ci torneremo senz’altro!

This lovely place is right off the park, walkable to restaurants, shops and even to the museums (through the park), and just a 20 min ride to the city center. It's in a VERY family friendly area!! The host is excellent -- very friendly and helpful and quick with responses. The flat is fully appointed and even has a little back patio, but 2 of the bedrooms are quite small, and the stairs between floors are steep!

Great location for the tram and Jordaan. Easy walking to loads of sights. Lots of food options like Foodhallen and Ted’s not far or other places just round the corner.

Mia was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was cosy and comfortable and In a calm and beautiful area of town. Would definitely go back!

Had a really great stay! The house is quite central, but the area is quiete.
