Lovely place in a great location — very close to Amsterdam yet away from the hustle and bustle. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were friendly and kind to accommodate us for an early check in. One thing to note if you want to take the bikes for the day is they are quite large, so it may be worth renting if you’re a bit shorter. Also there was no shampoo or conditioner in the apartment, so you may need to be prepared to supply your own. Overall, a magical stay!

We had a lovely stay at Watergang! Such a pretty location, really convenient for the city but also very peaceful and great access to the surrounding countryside, ideal for country folk like us. Bikes were a fantastic addition, we had so much fun exploring on them despite the cold! The room had everything we needed, Hilde met us on arrival and explained a few bits and gave some useful suggestions. She also sorted out a phone holder for the bikes so we could navigate more easily which was hugely appreciated. Overall, a really great holiday!

Der Aufenthalt in Johans Appartement war sehr toll! Eine wunderschöne, ruhige Lage und super mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Johan war sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Dank u wel und bis zum nächsten Mal. :)

What a location! After deciding Amsterdam public transport was in fact easy to navigate, we found getting to the houseboat via the metro and bus followed by a short walk extremely easy. The location and houseboat are beautiful and we would stay here again in a heartbeat - it’s an amazing refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city, and getting the “ferry” across the dike was a real treat! Also, a highlight of our stay was a certain big ginger cat who got to live with us - a real cuddly boy! Thank you Adri for an amazing stay, and if we ever come back for more of Amsterdam we know exactly where we will be staying.

Delightful Airbnb on a small peaceful farm just outside Amsterdam. The cozy accommodation was spotless and well designed, and our host Albert was very accommodating. Watching the free roaming chickens and happy cows from the bedroom window was a real treat! The public transport was excellent, making it easy to get into central Amsterdam surprisingly quickly. Albert kindly lent us some bicycles making it even easier to get around. This place is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat while still being close to the city. Highly recommend!

Our stay in Katwoude was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful and spacious surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning nature. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, with clear communication and great tips about the area. The location is ideal – surrounded by nature yet conveniently close to Amsterdam, Volendam, and other beautiful spots. From the upstairs bedroom, we even had a beautiful view of the IJsselmeer, which made our stay even more special. The neighboring farm with adorable sheep added to the charm of the experience, and we loved that we could buy fresh local products directly from the farmer. It truly felt like an authentic countryside retreat. A must-visit for anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and a picturesque setting. We would definitely love to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My partner and I really loved our stay in this little green cabin! The area was so peaceful, surrounded by waterways and birds. A great place for those who want a city break in Amsterdam but enjoy retreating back to a peaceful ‘home’ each night. The public transport was a little inefficient which made the location slightly less desirable; we put our hands out for buses that zoomed straight past us multiple times! But once you are on the bus it is only a short ride to Amsterdam Centraal. Sophie was so responsive and always happy and willing to help! Would love to return in Summer.

Excellent séjour au Loft da Paul et Saskia, un Loft agréable pour un séjour entre famille ou avec des amis ! Je recommande vivement et les hôtes étaient aussi très aimable et agréables ! Merci pour cet excellent séjour !

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend chez Danny. L’hôte est très réactif, gentil et accommodant. Le logement est bien équipé si on souhaite préparer ses repas sois même, assez de place pour ranger ses affaires et le chauffage fonctionne très bien. Et surtout se réveiller avec cette vue est très agréable. L’arrêt de bus n’est pas très loin à pieds et il y a très peu d’arrêt pour arriver à la gare centrale ce qui a rendu nos déplacements faciles. Je vous recommande vivement cet Airbnb!
