The moment we stepped into the apartment we noticed how clean and fresh it smelt. Everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped for our stay. It is very central to bars, clubs and restaurants which was perfect for our girls weekend. Alice was quick to respond to any queries. We loved the special touches of delicious snacks, milk and water in the fridge and the lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Thank you again

Stayed for my first visit back in Liverpool since moving to Scotland, lovely location with easy transport links when you don’t feel like driving and close to Lark Lane for great food options. The flat was spotless and felt secure with the PIN code entry system. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely little gem - just outside of Liverpool - good transport links or a 5-10 minute taxi into town - great for our short stay - annexe was spotless and Sian was great in providing clear instructions - off street parking is a real added bonus as well if driving - thanks a lot for our lovely stay

I had a lovely stay at Carol’s cottage. Fantastic location near Sefton Park and an easy walk to Lark Lane. Carol was as friendly as can be, and the cottage was very comfy. Loved it.

Stayed for 2 nights for a trip to Anfield...walkable distance through Stanley Park and a lovely little apartment. absolutely spotless throughout and well thought out, in terms of adding extra beds without compromising on space. Had everything you could need, full kitchen with all utensils, crockery etc and decent tea/coffee, an iron and ironing board, lots of storage and spare towels and bedding. The match I came for was altered and I had to contact Allan a few days before to try to rearrange booking by one day and his response was prompt and he accommodated my request without hesitation. Access to the courtyard was a bonus, small but very pleasant. Two things to note, do not be put off by the security gate on the front door and be mindful that the hallway before getting into the apartment is quite dark, even with the light on. I'd recommend Allan's place to anyone heading to Liverpool.

Jordan was helpful through this process; booking through our stay. We were a family of 4 and would stay again. Location was pretty easy to find and he met us at the entrance, walked us up and went through some information about the place. Very walkable to food, bars and sites! Thanks!

We were visiting family nearby and were so pleased with this home. It was quirky and full of character. The secure garden was perfect and everything was so neat and proper. It had excellent facilities and the little touches like coffee, tea and milk were perfect. The fact that dogs are allowed was very welcoming and kind. The only thing was the main road was quite loud but just bring some ear plugs and you’ll be absolutely fine. It’s worth it for this property which has everything you could need in a very beautiful village. We would 100% return if we came back to the area.

We loved staying here & it was perfect for our purpose! It was a close 30 mins commute to Liverpool centre but also perfect for a toddler. I wanted a place to stay that felt safe, had a private garden, lovely surroundings and was spacious for small family. LOVED the garden- a lovely place to relax. The property is over looking a forest so you were surrounded by bird songs which was a highlight. The beds were comfy, the main bedroom is good size to have a travel cot, the shower was a nice size the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cleaning products- especially washing powder which we needed Being close to Croxteth park & farm- 3 min drive was a ideal and we visited every day Couldn't recommend this holiday home enough, Jonathan was superb with his responses and was so helpful. If you are looking for a small family friendly home, clean, cosy, safe, beautiful garden, close to a park, commutable to Liverpool... You've found it!! We would 100000% return!

Had a great stay at Katie’s house. The house was very easy to find, Katie provided accurate directions before our arrival and instructions for entry. The house was lovely and warm on arrival with some lovely treats provided, a very kind gesture! Everything in the house was very clean and as described. It was very quiet at nighttime and we all had a brilliant sleep. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we would definitely stay again.

The home is very lovely and hosting. I didn’t have any issue getting in and out the home. Would recommend to anyone trying to stay away from centre Liverpool and enjoy a nice day with the community.

Had an amazing time based at Greg’s property! The house itself was fantastic, lots to keep us entertained. The area is beautiful, a short walk to the beach, a BBQ smokehouse within half a mile, and a short hop to the centre of Liverpool. Couldn’t recommend it more, we would happily return in the future. Clean, cosy house. Host was very friendly and welcoming. She met us with the keys at the property and left shortly afterwards. Let us check in early with no problems. All amenities as expected. Both double bed rooms are on the smaller side, but no issues at all. Would recommend for a cheap stay.

A really lovely house and location I would ask just a bit more flexibility on check out 10am was a bit of a push with lots of guests.

This is the perfect location for a weekend in Liverpool. Quick 7 mins uber into the town centre and a perfect distance to the Anfield stadium which we went to watch a game. The apartment itself was so lovely, and clean. A complementary bottle of Prosecco which just made it that extra special. And the bed was very comfortable would Definitely come back and I really recommend.

Perfect ground floor apartment in centre of town, yet very quiet. Within a minutes walk of shops, bars and restaurants. Very dog friendly, lovely little enclosed garden. Apartment was spotless and had everything needed for a mini or even an extended stay. Comfortable beds and lots of linen, towels etc. Hosts very responsive and gave excellent directions/instructions for entering privates gated complex. Would highly recommend and we all agreed would stay here again if in area.

Nice location, few mins walk to lake and shops. Reserved parking is also nice. Liked the homely feel to the place and easy to relax. Much better to have whole apartment to yourself than just a room with shared facilities in my opinion. Host communication was friendly and timely. Good instructions on how to use tv WiFi heating etc.

My stay at The Bothy was absolutely fantastic! The house itself was beautiful, stunningly decorated & incredibly comfortable & cosy, making it a real home away from home. The location was also ideal for my visit to family. It was so convenient being so close to everything I needed. The beach was just a short walk away, as were a great selection of bars, restaurants, & shops. Even better, the train station was also within easy reach. What truly made the stay exceptional were the hosts, Jeanette and her husband. They were amazing! My arrival ended up being much later than initially planned, but they were so kind & understanding, waiting for me even though they had a flight to catch for their own holiday. I was so touched by their willingness to accommodate me despite their own travel plans. The lovely welcoming basket of goodies was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel instantly at home. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or more wonderful hosts. I highly recommend.

What an amazing place! Beautiful home with incredible views. Super comfortable and well equipped, with attention to detail and design in every room. A true home away. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope we’ll be able to return soon.
