We had an absolutely incredible stay at Jay’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The place itself was everything we could have asked for—cozy, beautifully designed, and nestled in a stunningly scenic area with breathtaking views. During our weekend stay, we experienced over a foot of snow, but Jay had already arranged for a plow service in advance, ensuring the driveway was always clear and accessible. Thanks to his careful planning, we had no issues coming and going, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Beyond that, Jay was an exceptional host—communicative, proactive, and incredibly accommodating. He kept us updated throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We spent three lovely late winter nights. The cottage was clean, spacious and very inviting. My wife and I loved the sauna and my kids loved the hot tub. We cozied up in the evening watching movies, puzzling and playing cards. The deck with the fire pit was a favourite spot for a morning coffee looking at the frozen lake. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the city and unwind for a getaway as a couple or family. Hosts were fantastic!

The house was in a nice area and was very clean. Host was very helpful and quick with his responses. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

Lovely space - just like the pictures. A little tricky to find the first time, but its location is part of what makes it so peaceful. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the hot tub was delightful. David answered all our inquiries promptly and even let us check in early when I asked. We had some issues with the internet service, but that was clearly weather-related. And although he was unable to resolve the issue before we checked out, David was very responsive and reached out to the internet company right away and made every effort to get it fixed.

Came down for a rugby tournament with a group from Kingston ON. This spot was spacious, clean, very nice and up to date. No issues at all! Would love to come back in the summer once the weather is nicer to enjoy the beautiful yard set up they had.

Wendy's cottage was a great find. The lake and large dock were beautiful. The cottage itself had all the necessities and was very clean. Wendy was very responsive as well, whether it was with our questions or info about the cottage. The cottage sleeps a lot and would be great for families and kids; for adults if you have a spare foam mattress-topper or even a thin air mattress or sleeping bag it might be worth bringing as the beds are quite hard for those that might like a softer bed but all-in-all a great cottage and great location.

This is a beautiful place to stay by the riverb! feels so private and rustic, everything well taken care of, perfect private getaway. Ewa is an AMAZING person. Communicated very clearly, was helpful, and even went out of her way to help us with a car problem. we loved everything about the place and this beautiful island. amazing!

The furniture is clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. We especially liked that there was plenty of space for clothing and belongings, and appreciated the wifi, nice TV and games.

We had a great time here! The house is clean, cozy, and has everything you need! The area is absolutely beautiful and we saw some great sunsets every night.

My fiancée and I got engaged here! It was a little chilly, so we stayed inside most of the time, but it felt so homey and comfortable. Totally worth every penny, we’ll definitely be coming again.

Hands down one of the best airbnb stays and hosts! Wanted to spend my husband’s birthday at the Buddy shack and happened to mention that to Brandon before the stay. When we checked in, baked chocolate cake, ice cream, a gift bag, a birthday card and a beautiful handwritten note were waiting for us. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe this gesture! And there are thoughtful touches around the house that made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent. Felt like I was chatting with a friend. Tried two restaurants that they recommended and both could give the NYC restaurants a run for their money! The property is beautiful. Enjoyed excellent weather and quiet time by the lake. Overall, I highly recommend the Buddy Shack. You will return with wonderful memories and a full heart!

We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

We love staying at this cabin! It is clean, has the necessary amenities to include a washer and dryer. We always use the coffee maker and feel right at home in the morning in front of the electric fire place. This is our second time booking and we recommend this location.

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect for my dad and I. We enjoyed the living room and big main bathroom. Lots of options for outdoor seating and the dead end street made it a very quiet/private location. Close to all the Thousand Island destinations we wanted to visit.

Beautiful cottage with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

We wanted to reconnect as a family before our daughter heads away for a few months of travel and this was the perfect spot. It’s such a beautiful cottage in an incredible location with incredible views. From mornings spent marveling at the sunrise over the lake to walking the trails, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We visited in winter and although we were warned there is no central heat, with the baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, we were always warm and cozy - even at night. Chris was a great host and would check in on us to ensure we had everything we need. We’re already trying to decide when we can go back!

We can't say enough about our stay at Matt's beautiful cottage. Everything was exactly as advertised and looked exactly like the photos. The arrival instructions were very clear and we appreciated the communication leading up to our stay with the house rules PDF being sent by email. We enjoyed a very memorable weekend in the middle of prime autumn colours. This location is absolutely STUNNING!!!!! The sunsets are breathtaking and the property is perfect for watching the sun set over the lake. Mornings were also magnificent with mist and fall colours blending together beautifully. If you had small children, they would be in the lake from dawn to dusk at this fabulous property. We would definitely visit again; it was one of the best airbnb properties we have ever rented. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Courtney's place is a really beautiful location. It was the nice and cozy get away we were looking for.

We loved our stay in Buck Bay. The weather was great and we enjoyed the dock and kayaks that were provided. We will be back!
