Great little lodge. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We celebrated a quiet 40th and couldn’t have asked for more, lovely quiet location with great views. Selby was very nearby and easy to get to with nice places to eat and York being so close too for a fantastic day out….. then to come back and relax in the hot tub was very welcoming 🤗

Acorn Cottage is beautiful, peaceful and in a fantastic area to explore so much of the Peak District. The cottage is warm, clean, comfortable with everything we could need and felt like home from home. Stuart is very helpful and friendly from our first enquiry to recommending the Packhorse Inn at Little Longstone for a birthday meal which was fantastic. Tideswell is the perfect base with friendly locals and great amenities, including the bakery, fish & chip shop and Tideswell Lounge. Overall we loved our time here and highly recommend!

We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

Having never stayed in the Peak District before it was an absolute revelation. Absolutely beautiful, wonderful local towns and villages, I shall be back! The Barn was a wonderful place to stay, great location and a lovely place to stay.

Location is absolutely fantastic for Bakewell access. Communication was excellent. Perfect weekend.

We stayed here for a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our dog Boris. The cottage is beautiful & tastefully decorated with everything you could want or need. Although the cottage is in the centre of the town, it’s on a quiet footpath away from the hustle & bustle so really quiet especially in the small courtyard garden. The breakfast that comes as part of the package was first class & far outweighed our expectations, we will definitely stay here again when we visit this part of the country.

A great short stay at this lovely cottage. Fantastic views and a cosy feel. Location was very convenient in the village very near to the fabulous pub and lovely walks. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed.

The cottage was lovely, well appointed and perfect for us and the dogs. It was always warm but the woodburner made the evenings extra cosy. It is in a wonderful location for walking - all from the door! Youlgreave is a fantastic village with a selection of dog friendly pubs and cafes (that also sell amazing bread) plus a great village shop. We loved our time there and will definitely be back. :-)

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this delightful cottage in Monyash, a quaint village nestled within the stunning landscapes of the Peak District. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. It was immaculately maintained, providing a cosy atmosphere with its warm interiors and welcoming decor. The well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom, and the charming living room with its wood-burning stove made it feel like a home away from home. Monyash, with its picturesque surroundings, is a gem. The village is peaceful and beautiful, ideal for a relaxing retreat. The local pub, with its hearty meals and friendly locals, added a lovely touch to our stay. One of the highlights was the cottage's location, which served as a fantastic base for exploring the Peak District, visiting nearby attractions like Chatsworth House and Bakewell.
