Wonderful home for creating family memories. Home was beautiful, bright, and full of thoughtful touches that made it so comfortable - kitchen stocked with everything needed to make family meals, including space for everyone to prepare and cook together; warm, fuzzy blankets to curl up on couch or in bed; porch and backyard firepits; deck areas with rocking chairs. Great location - walk to beach, grocery store, restaurants. Hosts have done an amazing job creating the perfect family vacation home.

This adorable beach home was a perfect spot for our recent family trip to the Outer Banks. In the words of my 7 year old son, it was “fancy, cozy, THE BEST!” We really enjoyed being close to lots of things-restaurants, little shops, and attractions we wanted to see (drove to Manteo and also out to a nature preserve just past the Fort Raleigh National Park). Most useful perk was that the house actually is just a short walk to the ocean. My boys spent so much time just playing on the beach, finding shells, crabs and all kinds of cool treasures. We wanted a schedule-free, laid back vacay & being able to just walk to the beach was great. It was quiet because we were there in the off season, so the house felt very secluded & peaceful. After the kids were in bed, we appreciated the hot tub and sauna (baby monitor & we were good to go). Meredith was a great host, sharing helpful tips and info. The house was spotless, and so perfect for our family of 4. Such a great stay!!

Without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed in. Alan was easy to communicate with and super responsive . The house was beautiful and in a peaceful area. Neighbors were wonderful. Kitchen was easy to cook meals in and had everything we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable, showers were hot and towels were fluffy! The sound was a walk down the driveway and had great sunsets. Beach access was less than a 8 minute drive. Beach towels and all things you need were available. Pool was perfect and clean. The canal at the back of the house was great and lots of wildlife to hang out with. We would without a doubt come back again!! Just loved this place so much!! Thank you Alan for making our vacation so stress free and enjoyable!!

Outstanding stay. Great location. Quiet. Quick access to beach. Great pool for use. Short drive to local infrastructure (must eat: lighthouse bagels!). Proactive and well communicating host Lisa. Overall highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Everything was just as advertised. We were able to “come home” to a comfortable, relaxing place after being out for the day. The office space was extra special! I recommend Artim’s place.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved that we could utilize the community pool since the beach had red flags during our entire stay. The beach access private parking was also a plus. Hot tub was a great way to end the day. Lots of space for family meals at the dinning room table.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kearney Castle and we will definitely be back. The rental was in the perfect location and the views of the ocean were perfection. I love that the owners allow us to bring our dogs. They loved the beach too! The hosts recommendations for local restaurants were spot on. We loved Mulligans and Noosa Beach Grille. The deck was awesome also. we visited off season but the street was quiet and the beach was mostly empty, which we loved for the dogs! The house isn't brand new but that's what we loved. We loved the handwritten note instructions on the fridge and the sea shell shelf as a guest book of memories for all the past guests!

The home was spacious and clean. Stores, beach, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. Highly recommend! Sandra was very responsive and the maintenance people were quick to arrive and address a burnt out light bulb even though we advised it wasn’t an emergency. Great place to stay and great people to work with.

Diane’s space has beautiful views. It’s even closer to the beach than the pictures depict. Literally steps away. I enjoyed eating breakfast while watching the waves in the ocean. Diane was very proactive and promptly responded whenever needed. My family enjoyed the beach toys, chairs and wagon that was provided. The space was very accommodating and my family of 5 had plenty of space. We will definitely be back in the OBX soon.
