Paul made my stay very welcoming and restful so I could prepare for a locally based interview and he was so welcoming and gave great recommendations, even some I wasn’t able to take advantage of in my short stay. I also have to praise the beautiful friend made mural in their home as a testament to their welcoming environment and ease of connection. Even for a short stay, very impressed with how personable he and family were.

The house was as described and pictured. Rosa was extremely responsive at all times of the day/night. The house could do with more attention to details like the shower curtain liner and shower mat being replaced as well as some updated appliances and paint. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would choose another property that Rosa had to off of in the future.

This place was great ! Quiet , clean and just very comfortable! Nicole was an amazing host ! Always up for a chat if you wanted one and if not then very peaceful and relaxing! Both the host were total rockstars and very fast to respond if anything was needed ! Definitely a gem of a place to stay ! I highly recommend!!

Anna is a very kind and welcoming host, and her two pups (big pups!) Maggie and Cooper are good ones, even if a bit uncertain about guests (Maggie mostly; Cooper might bark but then quickly wants a butt scratch). Anna does a good job at giving guests space, and the room is very cozy. I really appreciated all of the details and opportunities for self-reliance that Anna fitted the room with--its own dishes, mugs, coffee/tea/hot water, snacks, extra toiletries, television, heater, etc. These details made it much more comfortable and autonomous for me. Everything is well-explained, such as for check-in and what to do upon check-out, and Anna has done a lot to give recommendations to guests, as well. However, the house was undergoing more renovation than I expected based on the description and photos. For instance, the bathroom is totally functional, but is definitely undergoing a lot of work--I think extra descriptions of this would help guests be better prepped for it.

Great stay, had issues with a.c and they came with an new ac for us to install while they fixed the issue with the central air. Very responsive and responsible hosts!

The home is beautiful and check-in was seamless. They offer a few pairs of flip flops to walk around the house in, two bath robes, snacks, and bottled water. Very cozy! Just BE CARFEFUL if youre booking this place to have family or friends visit you because they told me they charge $15 per person who enters the home. That fee applies to any extra people whether they stay the night or not. I dont remember that information being in the listing, either way, $600 for two nights should cover three guests but apparently it doesnt. I described in detail why I was coming, and who was to be on the property and they ACCEPTED the booking before telling me about the fees. I suggest you message these people before sending a request to book to make sure there are no surprise fees. Seems like they'll add fees wherever they can out of nowhere. Other than communicating with them the stay was lovely.

This place was as pictured. We had a great time there, clean place and rooms. The interior looks better than the exterior of the house. The neighborhood looks decrepit but that’s just residential areas around Detroit downtown.
