we went with another couple the place was easy to find in a nice part of Detroit. the house and yard are gated so not only are you safe but so is your vehicle. it's a nice little stroll two downtown where you'll find everything you need.

It was a very cute space and had a very comfortable bed and sitting area. The neighborhood was really cute and I was able to walk around easily.

Sophie was extremely friendly and welcoming. Always helpful, including in the run up to my stay. The place, although with minimalist decor, was warm and comfortable. As per the description, there was a little noise from upstairs, but nowhere near what it could have been, and it certainly didn't bother me at all. The apartment had everything that one or two people would need, and importantly, extremely reliable WiFi throughout.

I stayed here after a concert in the city and it worked out great!

This place was so nice to hang out at! It had everything we needed after our long, hot days at a music festival. Including a super lovely pool and backyard to hang out in. The hosts are so sweet and we're available really fast if we needed anything! I will definitely be booking another stay with these folks asap! So happy with my time there. I'm so glad I decided to stay in Nova's place. Not only was the space comfortable and impeccably clean, but it's full of thoughtful and creative touches that made the place feel special, like a coffee machine with a bag of coffee, beautiful house plants and unique vintage furniture. While it's not a walkable distance to downtown Detroit, it's a short drive, and the house is very close to shops and restaurants in Hamtramck. I really enjoyed getting to know this unique Detroit neighborhood and I'll definitely stay here again if I come to Detroit.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay with Kristin. Her home was beautiful in ways my family and I have never seen in real life. Her taste is impeccable and she’s really put her heart into that place. She made us breakfast and coffee and even bonded with my very shy 13 year old daughter. We came up for thanksgiving and we are thinking of making it a tradition. Look out Kristen!! Better make room at the Thanksgiving dinner table!! WE LOVED YOU SO MUCH!!!

I loved this unique, tiny room (with attached private bathroom). I was traveling by myself on a tight budget and also required a space where I could do some online computer work. This place was PERFECT for my needs. Extremely cozy, ergonomic, quiet and quirky, I can see where it would not be the right place for many folks who have different expectations or needs from their lodging, but for anyone who appreciates funky, non-traditional spaces with a slight "John Sinclair" vibe, it's comfortable and inspiring. The hosts were out of town during my stay but went out of their way to make themselves available via email / messaging despite the difference in time zones between us. They were kind, encouraging and caring in their communications, and that was appreciated. If I am ever back in Detroit again by myself, I hope to be able to once more stay in this exact room! Again, if you don't mind quirky, odd charm, give this place a try. It's really cool.

Jenny and Alex were fantastic hosts! They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay. It can get a bit cold in the winter, but they kindly provided a space heater in my room. I had a great stay here.

Jimmie and Kathy were amazing outstanding customer service going above and beyond for whatever I needed Kathy had a beautiful soul. In addition, her Airbnb was very cozy and adorable. I enjoyed my stay if I’m ever back in Taylor I am definitely booking this location again highly highly recommend her Airbnb. Thanks for a wonderful stay. You guys are awesome. Excellent, large apartment. Quiet and clean. The location is easy to get to, but not on a major road. Great place to stay.
