Sally & Gard were great Hosts. Their home was beautiful and homey, with many comfort details not typically found in other Airbnbs. The pond and wooded setting were specular with the fall foliage on full display during our stay! The Kitchen had everything we needed for our long-term stay and the beds and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. We really enjoyed our time at the Peppermint Cottage. It was freezing cold and snowy when we got there and it made us feel instantly warm and cosy when we walked in and a fire was already going in that beautiful fireplace! It was a quiet and peaceful location, and we enjoyed a quiet nights rest. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

great place. my kids loved the house and especially the games and whatnot that are part of the rv park (right behind the house and included) The hosts were great and responsive. They went out of their way to make our stay fun.

The view is what it is all about. This is right on Lake Ontario from the living room. You can see straight out over the lake if your goal is seclusion and relaxation. This is the place to go. The host was very proactive supplying a variety of information the house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals. The hot tub house is incredible and one of the best features of our weekend, even though it is a shared space we never had an issue with wanting to use it when it was not available. I went with myself and two girlfriends our goal was not to go out and about and explore so I don’t have much to say about that. Our goal was relaxation and friendship which was great at this AirBNB. 😁

We had a great stay and the hideaway exceeded our expectations. We will definitely plan to return on our next visit to New York.

Our Stay was PERFECT! Our host was so sweet and made us feel right at home. Extremely responsive to anything we needed. The house and location was better than what we could have asked for. We spent lots of time on the deck and dock, fishing and watching the sun rise and set. Also had a nice fire directly on the shore of the property. You won't be disappointed when you stay here!

We loved our long weekend here. We came to try out salmon fishing in nearby Oswego, but got so much more. Our grandsons loved fishing off of the dock. The house was clean and comfortable and the neighbors were friendly. We enjoyed sitting by the water until dark and then would sit out front for a fire and live music from a nearby vineyard. Some reviews said the vineyard was a walkable distance. We didn't agree, but still enjoyed the music from our patio. We definitely want to stay again.

I spent a weekend in the cabin for my nieces wedding. The place was very clean and kept up. The weather was cold but the cabin did have heaters. It is private and quiet. You get a great view of the bay. I would highly recommend her cabin for anyone looking to just get away for some relaxing piece and quiet. Not far from Fair Haven which is a cute little town . Highly enjoyed my stay.

Spent Thanksgiving at the lake with family. We had a great time gathering, cooking, and hanging out. Even though it was cold outside, the view was amazing and we had a fantastic time.

Home had enough beds for our whole group and plenty of pots and pans for us to cook. Nice to have TVs in every room for kids to unwind at night, and you can’t beat the short walk to the beautiful beach on Lake Ontario as well as the walk to the lighthouse.

“Ventura Lake House “ is nothing short of magical. The cottage is so comfortable and eclectic, furniture with fascinating pieces of art made by the hosts. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable as was every space on the property, inside and outdoors. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything a person might need. Christine even left a special birthday treat for our son and croissants as well as many staples in the fridge. Our favorite part was sitting on an Adirondack chair just watching and listening to Lake Ontario. We will definitely be back again and again. So grateful that Christine and Paul offer this beautiful place — and their many creative talents — for others to enjoy! Thank you!

Stayed here for a few days while in the area for work. Luke was really great and responsive. The house was really clean and in a nice neighborhood close to the bay.

Tom & Shelly are fantastic hosts. Have been to the cottage before and look forward to staying with them again! The cottage is a great place. Clean,cozy and quiet in a beautiful area.
