Our second stay at The Little Gate House was fantastic! Impeccably clean with everything we needed. The welcome letter and basket of goodies were much appreciated, the home made jam delicious. Great base for mountain biking and walking in the local area. A pity we couldn’t have stayed longer. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful cottage in an ideal location with easy access to all amenities. Added bonus was the private south facing back garden. Very enjoyable weekend break and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely couple of days here, lovely to be able to have a cuppa and a biscuit when we arrived that were left by our hosts and then pain au raisin for breakfast! Nice location for the wedding we were guests at The Ashes Barn and would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay that was so peaceful but also allowed us to enjoy time with our daughter, her partner and our grandson. Beautiful surroundings that felt like being in the countryside without being isolated. The space in the chalet was plenty for the four-plus-one of us, airy and expansive. It was easy to keep a fifteen month old boy, who is just getting mobile, safe and entertained. We were blessed with the Spring weather but even if it had been poor I think we'd have not felt claustrophobic and there was a cupboard with some board games to entertain. We would recommend Kay's for a countryside break away and with half hour access to nearby towns (Kelsall village is walkable), Chester Zoo and North Wales on the doorstep there was plenty to visit. Loved it!

Such a beautiful home! A gentleman comes to look after the animals on site and I can’t remember his name but he was so lovely and helpful! Zoe and Julia are both really responsive and super helpful with everything. Definitely will book here again! The house was really clean and felt homely

Beautiful place in a peaceful private location. It was just what I was looking for. It was super clean and cosy when I arrived! Beautiful sunsets every night and lovely to sit outside and watch with the ponies! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cosy get away

What a lovely stay we have had. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back in the summer, so we can makw more of the outside space. We had everything we needed in the lodge. It was perfect. Our dog, loved the outside space. We went for a few walks around the area which were lovely. We went into Congleton town centre on our second night, which was great. Food at the Plough was lovely, plus the 10% discpint is a bonus! Host is fab, looking forward to returning soon!

Great find. Beautiful and clean and did us right fine and proud. Kitchen was really well equipped and spacious. Rooms were all really light and comfy. Absolutely lovely gaff. Thanks for having us.

We loved our stay - it was peaceful and restful. Sitting on the patio was a daily routine watching sheep and various birds and animals. We relaxed and enjoyed the area. We really enjoyed the stay and would stay again
