We had a fabtastic time- we ordered dinner in every night through the manager and it was so delicious, fresh and plentiful. The housebis surrounded by the most beautiful views and the pool is glorious. Finally, the accommodation manager was incredibly kind and helpful and really went out of his way to help us throughout our stay, and we cant thank him enough for his help when our baby was a bit unwell and needed to see q doctor. Thank you for everything!

What a fantastic home to be able to use as a base and a place to just unwind. The touches that James and Mara have added to the property and the amazing transformation of the villa make it a magical place to stay. Jeem was an incredible on site host, amazing chef and gave us great advice on all the things we needed to know. Nothing was a problem and he was just a delight to interact with. Having the pool on site was a blessing and the local wildlife entertainment from monkeys to squirrels, kingfisher and firefly's at night was really special. The breakfasts were an another special treat with amazing fresh fruit, home made juices, Sri Lankan spicy omelettes and a surprise local dish every morning. We wished we planned more dinners at home as Jeems local curries were superb but the restaurant recommendations from James and Mara sounded too good to miss and they were all fantastic. We enjoyed Charlie's at the Fort and Kurulu Bay particularly. Highly recommended for groups and families

We recently stayed at this stunning villa and couldn’t be more impressed. Waking up to this breathtaking view every morning was such a pleasure The villa itself was very stylish, and has all the necessities for a good stay, including even some funniest like boarding games :) It is very good located closento Welligama and Ahangama (5-10 minutes drive with Tuk Tuk), right close to the outstanding restaurant the Cliff. The host was very responsive and helpful with all our questions We had a very good time there and would definitely like to come back and soak this energy again

Beautiful place, wonderful pool, comfortable beds, relaxing atmosphere, helpful staff and enough space for everyone to chill out - what more could you ask for? And all just a 15-minute tuktuk ride from Galle Fort history or Ahangama bars.

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We loved it here! Thank you so much to all the team

We feel a bit teary writing this as Nalaka and his family now feel like a bit of a family to us. Our Sri Lankan family 🥰 We could not have asked for a better experience staying in Serene Cottage. We turned up to pure paradise and stayed for 10 nights, but it could have been longer. The house is down a quiet road in a rural village. It is pure peace. The bedrooms and wonderful, with super comfortable beds. The terrace is 10/10, nothing beats a morning coffee sitting out there. We could not fault the stay... and we could not fault Nalaka and his family. They went above and beyond at every moment. They made us a delicious breakfast everymorning, they helped arranging days out and taxi's, they even cooked us a dinner for my mums Birthday - something we will never forget. My sister had an accident and ended up in hospital, they were there straight away helping and supporting. This family have created a home away from home that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bianca's place. Everything was so easy and the place is amazing. Bianca and her team were very good communicators and responsive. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and swimming in the pool and exploring the area along the coast, which was exactly what we wanted (and one big highlight of our trip!) The breakfast provided was great - fresh fruit especially! And we also used the laundry here, which was easy and really nice. We tried many of the restaurants nearby and had a good experience - delicious food! We would love to come back here on our next visit to Sri Lanka. High recommend!

Where to start! We had the most amazing time at Kikili Kola. The villa is a true sanctuary. Hen and Korki were so welcoming and friendly, with fantastic local recommendations and organised a masseuse to come to the house who was amazing - we’d highly recommend! Our hosts in the villa Madhu and Kanchana were incredible - they went above and beyond to look after us and make our Christmas in Kikili so special. Their food was exceptional and always much better than anything you would find locally! We couldn’t recommend this place anymore and will definitely be back!

We loved Tai’s place. The house is beautiful, and both Tai and all of the staff were extremely accommodating. We had beautiful meals and loved the pool and garden in particular.

Our stay at the Soulhouse was incredibly wonderful. We had an unforgettable time. Elspeth is an excellent hostess. She looked after our well-being at all times and fulfilled our wishes to the best of her ability (eg. Pilates with Rosie :)) The staff in the house was also very obliging and looked after us very well. The breakfast was extensive and we were able to decide on a daily basis with the cook. We also requested a large BBQ, which was a complete success. The prawns, crabs and fish were of the best quality and bought directly from the market. Great importance is attached to the ambience, the furnishings and the cleanliness. The house is in the forest and on one side you look out over a large field. We saw countless animals. However, you need a car to visit the village or the beach, as the house is a little out of the way. This was not a problem for us. We really enjoyed the vibe. We all felt very comfortable and would come back in a heartbeat.

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Nissanka und Dammika empfangen und sie haben uns am ersten Abend verschiedene sehr leckere Currys zubereitet und sind dabei auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Die Unterkunft ist unheimlich schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Schnitt mit dem offenen Wohnraum inklusive Pool und die verschiedenen Kunstgegenstände machen das Haus sehr individuell und besonders. Super sauber und mit einer tollen Lage, wenn man ein bisschen schlendern und Abends verschiedene Restaurants testen möchte. Wir haben auch das frisch zubereitete Frühstück von Nissanka und Dammika sehr genossen. Toll fanden wir auch die ausführlichen Infos mit Hinweisen zur Umgebung und Empfehlungen für Strände, Ausflüge, Restaurants etc. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße!

We absolutely loved our 10 day stay at Audrey’s villa, it’s a very special place. The villa looks exactly the photos and is always spotlessly clean due to the wonderful discreet housekeepers Sriani and Lakmani who really made our stay with their kindness. They were wonderful with our 9 month old baby. We were travelling with a 3 year old and a 6 year old too and all of the toys and books and games and proper high chair and cot were so so appreciated. The pool was beautiful and always clean (there is a small ledge up to the pool which you can’t see in photos which meant our crawling baby couldn’t get up to the pool which was a relief just in case anyone is travelling with a small baby). The wildlife is incredible too watching monkeys in the trees etc (but they never came close). The food that chef cooked was good and they always tried to cater to the children’s fussy needs too which was very appreciated. Short (but hot!) walk to the beach. Asoka the tuk tuk driver was excellent too!

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

The Mugatiya is a very special place. We stayed with family friends for a week and had the holiday of a lifetime. Ahangama is a chilled place with some very cool bars and restaurants here and there. I wouldn't say that the beach is walkable due to kids and the heat but tuktuks are easily arranged.

Wir haben vier Tage in der Villa Sõmar verbracht und sind vollkommen zufrieden. Die Villa ist geräumig, sehr sauber und genau wie in der Beschreibung. Morgens gibt’s ein leckeres Frühstück von zwei sehr lieben Angestellten serviert. Die sri lankanischen Bananen Pancakes sind sehr zu empfehlen. Desweiteren bekommt man vor der Anreise eine sehr ausführliche Nachricht in welcher unter anderem viele Restaurant Empfehlungen, Strände in der Nähe und sogar Nummern von zwei Tuk tuk Fahrern stehen. Die Lage ist in Ordnung und man kann alles mit dem tuk tuk oder einem Roller erreichen. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had an incredible three-night stay at Sahan’s villa in Weligama—honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect: just a short walk or quick tuk tuk ride to amazing surf spots and great restaurants. The villa itself is stunning, with a beautiful pool that was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The interiors were spotless and thoughtfully designed. The air-conditioning worked perfectly (a real bonus in the Sri Lankan heat), the beds were large and super comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern, clean, and luxurious. Housekeeping was top-notch throughout our stay, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay in Weligama.

Kasun is a fantastic host, my wife and me enjoyed our stay here at his property. 1. Kasun's communication was proactive, helped us with booking whale watching and snorkeling at Mirissa. 2. Located centrally, it's 3km and 5min to Mirissa Beach. 3. Breakfast was excellent. 4. Located in a safe and a peaceful neighbourhood IMO. 5. There is a Tuk Tuk stand 300mts outside, was easier to walk and board one for travelling to Mirissa. They charge 500 LKR for one trip. 6. Property was very clean.

We loved our stay at Telo! The villa was beautiful and the perfect little haven to come back to in between exploring Ahangama and its surrounding areas. It was exactly as described in the photos. It’s a little bit away from the main area of ahangama which we really loved as it meant it was nice and peaceful at night. We rented a scooter to get around and would highly recommend. The team onsite were super helpful in organising everything for us too! We’ll hopefully be back! :)

I am a solo traveller and had all the best intentions of travelling Sri Lanka. Having fell in love with the coast, I decided to change plan and book a villa for a few days. Wow, blown away by this place. Exactly like the photos, if not better. The beach is so private and love that you can see the waves crashing from your bed/outside dining area. Very well thought out. What made this extra special was the service levels from Charith, what a top guy! Nothing was too much trouble. Very responsive and attentive but always respecting privacy. Thank you for making me feel at home and so well looked after. Outside the villa, lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance. My first time in Sri Lanka but I’ll defiantly return. Loved the diverse landscapes, food and most of all the people.

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back

We were 2 couples travelling together. Sashike & his beautiful wife welcomed us. Fabulous villa walking distance to some lovely restaurants. We got a Tuk Tuk to turtle beach in Talpe around 5 mins away - get there just after 9am to feed these gorgeous creatures. Would highly recommend staying here!
