We had a late check in, which wasn’t a problem. While small, the apartment was exactly what we required for two nights. Central location.

Lovely place to stay! My whānau and I really enjoyed it… the setting is just gorgeous, so quiet, picturesque, and tranquil. The studio is compact and well equipped. We didn’t realize the queen bed is in the living space but it wasn’t a problem. Our daughter slept in the kids room and enjoyed having a “big girl bed” (bunk bed) all to herself. She loved the chickens too. Close to Patuna archway and Martinborough cycle tours. Would definitely recommend. 👍

This roomy apartment in the heart of Wellington offers spectacular views and a prime location—just a short stroll from the waterfront. The neighborhood felt safe and inviting, with everything easily accessible on foot. Additionally, the hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

A peaceful and quiet retreat for a weekend getaway. The little touches such as the fresh flowers and chocolate were a thoughtful surprise. We also enjoyed meeting one of the furry four legged neighbours. This was the perfect location to retreat to after attending events in Greytown (a short car drive just out of the centre of Greytown ). I only wish we had been able to stay longer to read some of the books available ( I did manage to finish my own book that I had bought along).

Great stay! The place was spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and private parking, which was a big plus. It’s within walking distance to Zealandia and the cable car, making it easy to reach the city center. We also appreciated the quiet and private neighborhood—perfect for a relaxing stay.

We had the most beautiful time . The accommodation was so beautiful for a couples get away , private and comfortable. Loved meeting the Katie and her husband we will be back 💯

We enjoyed our stay at Nikis so much. The house is spacious and the garden was an absolute gem. So much love and effort put in there. We loved the design of the rooms. Our favourite time of day was the sunny afternoons in the kitchen and on the porch. Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Our fourth annual trip as a friend group and this one is hands down the best accommodation we have stayed in. Not sure that anything will top this! It had everything. An exquisite modern home, spacious home including all rooms, peaceful location, beautifully furnished. It definitely ticked all the boxes. A dream home for sure. One of our travellers packed her kitchen sink but it wasn’t necessary as this place had all the kitchen gadgets we needed. Tania was very responsive in her communication and instructions were super easy to follow. Although a bit of a drive from the township, we still made it work for our group and it meant we were at the property longer to enjoy it and its beautiful peaceful surroundings. Whilst our friend group figure out how we buy this place (wishful thinking!), we highly recommend this to everyone as a place to stay and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! It was very comfortable, quiet, safe, and clean. The location is great—close to the city center yet peaceful. Waking up to the beautiful sea view every morning was truly amazing. The host was very kind and responsive, always there to help whenever we had any questions. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Wellington!

Peter’s home was the perfect place to stay during our week here in Lower Hutt. The place is easy to find, the house was extremely clean and had the essential necessities that we had forgotten, such as milk, oil, mini tubs of butter and spreads. Everything you could think of was there, in which it made the stay that more comfortable. Very close to the town center, and also the open polytechnic which I needed to head to for the week. Peter was amazing with communicating and also giving instructions. Would highly recommend to stay! 10/10😃

It was a great place for our family of 5 to gather and share a holiday. Probably the place would be easier for those with a car but we managed and enjoyed the local cafes & a nearby restaurant. The views from the property are magnificent & it is very peaceful with some lovely visits from local bird life. Richard was very helpful & quick to respond to a couple of house issues. The foodstuffs, spices, condiments & general household supplies eg washing detergents etc were very generous & helpful given none of us are from New Zealand. It also has a wide range of appliances & cooking equipment which we appreciated. When we first arrived we were very glad his directions to the property were very specific. Overall all of us were very happy with our stay and we’re glad we chose Richard’s place - thank you Richard.

This is a lovely place to stay. It surrounded by native bushland on 2 sides, and has a lovely balcony that is private and sunny. The house is extremely modern and very comfortable. Jamie is friendly, responsive and was a pleasure to deal with. We wished we could have stayed longer.
