Really great place to stay especially if you have a boat. Walks around the arm are easy and you meet lots of friendly locals.

The room is in great location close to restaurants, grocery shop and ferry which will get you for free to Raymond Island ( for pedestrians). Beds were comfy and the living room was absolutely great for chilling. Not to mention the kitchen which had everything we needed. Washing machine and the dryer worked well too. Parking was really convenient nearby also. On first day we struggled a bit to get the hot water on and we struggled to get hold on anyone from the staff who could help us. In the end we figured it out. I would suggest to update info in the manual for any other guests. Apart of that, we had really good stay and if we ever come back to Paynsville, we will be booking it for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen and Rob’s place. They maintain the house in excellent condition, and it is equipped with everything we needed. Rob welcomed us enthusiastically upon our arrival. The location is beautiful and quiet, and our family enjoyed a great time in the house, which has a river view and a private jetty for fishing. We look forward to visiting again!

What an amazing house! Just spend 5 wonderful nights here with family, and it was the perfect home away from home, comfortably accommodating eight of us (four adults and four children). The games room was a massive hit with the kids, as were the hot tub and fire pit. A short walk to the beach, and beautiful views out over the lake. The birds taking flight over the lake at sunset was just gorgeous! And to top it off - Keith was the perfect host, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely restful weekend here enjoying the beautiful scenery and the peace and quiet. it was especially nice to be able to feed such a wide variety of birds on the deck. Everything was thought of by Tammy and we wanted for nothing.

Great place, spectacular view, fishing wasnt so easy this time but was fun trying. Everything is walking distance in the town so having a comfortable, clean place to relax was great. Would highly recommend this place as it sleeps so many people so perfect for families, parking for a boat and few cars and a grassed yard for kids or dogs. Highly recommend this and we will be going back.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Nobby's Rest. Travelling with a reactive dog can be difficult but this trip was all that I'd hoped for. The beach was deserted, the ocean was wild and we enjoyed long walks and paddling in the water (it was too rough for our swimming abilities). The house was homely and the fencing is very secure, my dog loved the freedom of being able to roam the yard at her leisure. For us, the lack of mobile reception was a bonus and added to the relaxation, forcing us to disconnect from our phones and spend quality time together. We'll definitely be back in the future.

What an exceptional property, we were blown away by the view, the ambience, the furnishings, comfort and space. Absolutely loved our stay would definetly stay again.

The property is in a peaceful spot overlooking Loch Sport marina and only a few minutes walk to the bistro. The house contains everything we needed for a very relaxing long weekend break. Scott was helpful throughout and his clear instructions made for an easy check-in

We loved this beach house right next to the lake. It had everything to guarantee a comfortable stay and more. The yard was secure for our dogs and right behind the house is a walking path taking you along the beautiful lake with many beaches and beautiful areas. we had a wonderful stay and our dogs loved it too.
